So, I've read the comments on Crunchyroll and I'm starting to believe that getting confused about this anime is becoming a meme. Like, yeah it does need to explain some things, but a bunch of people apparently didn't understand anything, and I really mean they didn't understand anything.

...At this point I've just accepted what kind of adaptation this is so I somewhat enjoyed this episode. The anime original stuff in this episode does make you wonder what they'll end up doing in later episodes. Some of this stuff should only have been introduced later in the story.

Oh and it's good to see Shirou.

The first two fights were okayish, the way they were choreographed was by the book.

The fight against Reinhard was pretty good though.

Rot Spinne means Red Spider.

Ren in his Eine Faust Finale looks like Red Spider on this anime.

I guess that confims if Ren is actually Spinne? What a twist!

Quality wise nothing much changed compared to previous episodes. The nitrogen scene is worse, and pretty much that's it? Oh yeah there should be part that appears in Wehrwolf mentioned here but well the anime skipped it so it might confused people out.

There were some cool shots, but man... this episode was just goofy. I think word sums it up perfectly for me.

Early Match vs Final Boss.
Reinhard reined hard on Ren.
Seriously, lol, that guy basically has the power of the souls of every german soldier and machine that died in ww2?

He summoned Tanks, Planes....an even Battleship Bismarck.
He's the God-Type final boss that's so overpowered that I can see him being defeated with some asspull that will negate all his power for a moment.

They are making interesting aberrations from VN story. Reinhard's Stand is the swag death god from Death Note but with 5000% more spookyiness and 100000000% more German military units
In time, you will know the tragic extent of my fapping's...

Reinhard's last line in this ep made me think a bit. Could he be related to Shirou? (Since both have constant deja vus.)

He's less prominent here than he is in Reas route, he'll show up probably next episode then disappear until the last 5 or so

foreknowledge
awareness of something before it happens or exists.

not future sight, but when something is happening in the present, you already know how it'll go and it'll feel as if you've been through it before

Shirou was too badass for a so called normal kind.
Deja Vu is OP!!!
When someone asks me why I like anime, I'd say Just Because.

...Okay soooo... my brain just sort of turned off this episode, like... things were happening... but I'm pretty sure I basically missed everything. I enjoyed it still but WHAT THE HECK EVEN HAPPENED? Felt like there was a whole heck of a lot of stuff going on, but I couldn't keep up.

The dude started bleeding from his eyes... freakin Beethoven playing while god rays beam through the clouds... people running along the walls and the water... MC saw the dude and started freaking out... weird transformations... freakin god of war or something showed up... and I'm just sitting here... confused... deja vu is a cool power though.

To be honest this is the first episode that I didn't really care much for. Though that might have something to do with watching the first half yesterday and finishing it today. Just found the last half of the episode very 2edgy5me and not very enjoyable. The animation was pretty bad for the action sequence too, that's probably part of the reason I felt that way.

Appearently having "deja vu" makes it possible to keep up with superhuman speed and reflexes.

Also funny how terrible this show treats it's bystanders. Even the protagonists treat them as expendables. Ren doesn't seem to care (unless it's a friend) and Shirou Straight up killed that trucker. Hard to find anyone likable in this show...

Well, Ren said so himself in the VN concerning all of the people Kasumi murdered for him a few eps back that he doesnt care about them and wants to keep Kasumi from remembering so they can both continue to live normal lives. Basically saying how us humans value our friends and loved ones over thousands of strangers. And for Shirou, im pretty sure there was no one in that truck seeing as how he had Ellie and her men prepare that truck in advance.
The peasant is bound by the king. The king is bound by the peasants and their kingdom. But the Viking is bound to nothing but themselves.
