| Personally i cannot wait for this series to come out, i am a real fan of of the movies. And as a computer fan i am amazed over the 3d animation of the series, appleseed 2004 was an amazing work and the 2007 just blew me away. I hope that this new series will not be a dissapointment, i am a real fan of Shiro |

| Honestly, I'm not too sure what to think. I love the appleseed franchise, and I enjoyed the first movie (mostly cause of Shinji Aramaki's involvement and his treatment of the material, which managed to be different and yet expand upon some things from the original manga). I thought Ex Machina was really bad though, and I would personally like to see it animated in line with say, Ghost in The Shell Stand Alone Complex, cause while I think the CG is very well done and well produced, I'm just not really a fan of fully CG features, and prefer traditional animation. But we'll see. |

But we'll see. Pretty much agree with everything you've said. Love the Appleseed manga, the movie was fine, the sequel was one of, if not the worst movies I've ever seen in my life. So far the moving picture adaptations are rocky so I'm not anticipating this series at all to be honest. The only way it can redeem itself is to basically copy Production I.G's magnificent SAC. |

| What I'm looking forward to is the level of Detail Genesis will have. If you recall what Vexille looked like, and that was released last year. (Cap for those that forgot)  At the very least, Genesis, will be visually amazing. (Waits for Squeenix to announce FF7: The Series, in an attempt to bandwagon.) |
| If this is a 26 episode TV series why do people think its going to have the budget of a feature length CGI movie? Surely we'll be lucky if it looks anything like Production I.G's GitS franchise? |

It's just too darned expensive to make a series with the detail of the films. The only CGI series that I can think of with a high level of detail was Freedom, and it only lasted for 7 episodes. It was also sponsored by a major company with money to spare as part of their anniversary or something. Who knows though, maybe they'll surprise us? |

I don't think people are getting the point when people keep saying it's canceled. It is a shame though, the other movies are really good. |
