Now this is an amazing ending, one of my favorite arc now. This arc was amazing I love how they put a background with Araragi besides Senjougahara and like all of them was there, damn I really damn love this series so bad the ending was very satisfying it wanna makes me cry, I'm glad to see Hanekawa back and so as Oshino overall this series never failed to disappoint so my rating 9/10 I'm glad that I watch this series. |

Not with the feels man, stop it with those feels, I just got my first existensional crisis down after Hanamonogatari and its "last day of my adolescence", and now you smack me with another one?! I adore the ending though. The Ougi/Koyomi scene was wholesome. Also Meme returns!! What was he doing in Antarctica anyway, waiting for another Metallica live concert? Hanekawa and Hitagi's appearence is also appreciated. Back to the first statement... Don't do this OK. I didn't have aproper graduation ceremony because of certain BS virus(I still don't regret it that much though, cuz cringe fest it'd be) and now I'm sad about it. And again, this "end of adolescence" hits me hard each time, because I'm also there at the moment... Boy I hate growing up. Also, hey, last title left to go, let's make this last push! |

Man, that was a really good ending. I'm really glad that Oshino came back, shout out to Hanekawa for brining him back from Antartica Ya know what, I'm alright with Ougi now. Now that we've gotten some explanation on her character, I like her a lot more. The ost for this season was really good, especially during the Hitagi arc. |

And they live happily ever after.. What a perfect way to end. It's like this is the final chapter of Monogatari Series. I would like to call this a " masterpiece ending " that concludes all of the story... A perfect 10/10 for this Series. That conclusion towards till the end was perfect in every way. I'm freakin satisfied now. But we still have a last one! I guess it's about time to conclude this Unforgettable Series once and for all. On to the last, Zoku Owarimonogatari :) . . . . . . . But seriously, why didn't I watched this Monogatari Series earlier? |

What a beautiful conclusion to a beautiful series. One of my favorite arcs in the series. The "But no matter how much I change, I'm still me" line with Ougi at the end hit really well. I can't wait to start Zoku Owari |

As for the beginning, another f****** masterpiece. But am I the only one who thinks it’s a shame that Araragi-kun didn’t ask Shinobu(-oneesan) to massage her breasts or something, since she had her normal size for a while again. I‘m a little disappointed by Muraragi-san. |

Beautiful ending and amazing season overall. Luckily there's still Zoku Owari, Off Season and Monster Season. But, if those didn't exist then this ending would have been perfect already, well I guess it really is an ending, not to the series, but to Araragi's adolescence. It's fucking perfection. Araragi saving Ougi, basically saving himself, that's amazing writing right there. It was truly spectacular how everything just tied together and how it all culminated in this single season. If I were to rank my favorite seasons of Monogatari it would be: 1. Owarimonogatari 2nd Season 2. Monogatari Series 2nd Season 3. Kizumonogatari This season is definitely my favorite plus Meme fucking returned, Meme turning the lie into a truth was amazing, I guess Ougi being a dude in Hanamonogatari makes sense now. Araragi can change but that doesn't change the fact that Araragi is Araragi. 10/10 |

This was once again another brilliant episode this is probably the best episode of the monogatari series has to offer Ougi was actually just been living just for the sake of correcting araragi mistakes well araragi doesn't have any mistakes in my opinion but araragi thinks all of his actions are a mistakes or more like he doesn't deserve to those people whose around them Then when finally ougi's motivations and objectives are clear we viewers found out that he's gonna be swallowed by the darkness i was like really fuckkkkkkkkk but then araragi tried to save him i was like fuck yeahh but it's still not enough Then oshino meme just show up out of nowhere then save ougi with a brilliant move but it's actually pretty simple but i didn't even think about it Lezzzzz gooo i really love ougi in this season and the ending scenes are really satisfying seeing all of the characters i love having a happy ending hell yeah All and all this season was easily 10/10 |

For some reason the website on which I watch Owari S2 complied the three episodes of the Ougi Dark in one so I'll talk about the whole arc. So Gaen assembles Shinobu,Hachikuji ,Ononoki and Araragi and they decide to enshrine Hachikuji as the goddess for the North Shirahebi Shrine as this would prevent her from being swallowed by the Darkness. Also I loved the moment where Shinobu starts spinning Araragi and OnonokiXD. Ougi can be defeated when her true identity is revealed;she would then be swallowed by the Darkness as she was lying about her true identity. And her true identity is that she IS Araragi, a manifestation of his self-criticism. It's not like she doesn't know everything, she only knows what Araragi knows as she's a part of him. So that's why she was correcting Araragi's mistakes. He also felt like he didn't deserve the people around him, thus he kept doubting himself. I loved the part where Araragi saves Ougi. He was technically saving himself just like how the rest of them did. Aannd Meme Oshino finally makes a comeback. Man I couldn't stop grinning at that moment! He saved the day by turning the lie of Ougi to a truth! The ending with the graduation and all made me feel a void inside of me even though there's more seasons after this. But this is just an ending to Araragi's adolescence:) (Wonder who's that girl at the end) I have to give this season a 10/10 after giving us such a satisfying conclusion! |

Am I the only one who wanted Araragi to kiss Ougi, I mean he already got her pinned down, it's very fitting for his character to do something like that, also all the emotional atmosphere really called for it but unfortunately, it did not happen. I really like Ougi and I'm so glad she's ok, I was so sad thinking that was gonna be it for her, also she showed genuine emotions for the first time which made it even sadder, I wanna see more of her good girl side next season, please. anyhow amazing season, every character in this anime is so interesting and well developed, you really can't hate anyone. easy 10/10 (I also really miss best girl kaiki, where is he?) |

Loved it but still have a few questions: What was the point of making Araragi a human if he became a half vampire again? Why is Ougi not dangerous anymore? Why won't she sabotage Hachikuji? |

Okay. I have too many things to say. And I'm also tired and don't feel like writing tons of words. But I know I have to write them down now or else I'll be very frustared afterwards. Alright where do I start... Well, I guess first thing : who was that girl at the end ? The one Araragi ran after ? The fact that Ougi told him he doesn't change, to which he answered he simply remains himself (speaking of which, the message behind that brief exchange feels very important to me, I love it), leads me to believe it's just to show that he's still running after high-school girls and so isn't fully letting go of his adolescence which is fine since it's still a part of him, but I'm not entirely sure. Aside from that : of course, that was an awesome episode. The one thing I'm frustrated about is that I really wish we got to see even more of Ougi than what we got because this episode confirmed to me how much of an incredible character she is and how much I love her. I don't know what to say because I feel like I've already said so much about her in previous discussions it would feel a little redundant, but wow. I love her. This episode really put into perspective everything she did, I already was planning to rewatch the series in the future but even more so now, wouldn't say just for her but she's one of the main reasons. And it was very surprising to see her express so much emotions (which also confirmed to me that Kaori Mizuhashi is an incredibly underrated seiyuu), but it gave away so many things regarding her character, it humanized her so much and it made her so much more interesting and complex than she already was and that's saying something. One of the most interesting things is that even at this point, even when expressing some sort of guilt about constantly criticizing Araragi who is willing to sacrifice himself for her, she still can't help but criticize him by calling him trash (at least that's what my sub went for) and then once again calling him a fool. I think it has two different meanings. Firstly, from Araragi's point of view. I see it as him finally beginning to accept and love himself, but even in that situation it is difficult for him to let go of those intrusive thoughts. But in the end, he is able to answer to those thoughts, to express the fact that he is doing the right thing, but also that there isn't a single thing about him that he regrets and that he wishes to see disappear. It isn't that easy for him to accept that, but he is willing to do it, he understands he has the right to accept himself and accept everything he's done. He cannot do everything right, he makes mistakes, he can also correct them. He doesn't have to reject any of that. And from Ougi's point of view : well, as Araragi said, she is like a baby. A baby made from Araragi's self-deprecation. She cannot express things normally, but she is beginning to. She is discovering things, basically, and that includes herself. And so, when she begins to crumble, to see herself and her actions as mistakes, the only way she manages to respond to that is through criticism, because that's the only way she knows how to react to things. And she isn't just critical of Araragi but of herself (yeah I know Araragi and her are basically the same person but you get what I mean). And she was so sure about being hated and having no choice but to commit suicide that being saved by Araragi, being proven that he cares about her, is something that is completely messing with her mind and her emotions. Yup, at this moment we can really see the ignorant newborn that was always hiding behind the sarcastic and spooky persona. Actually I can even say that, not just in this episode but also the one before, we've been able to fully see the real Ougi, not just the spooky Ougi who talks in riddle, but an actual person, that we already could see glimpses of ever since we first met her but now we can really see everything. What further confirms that to me is that even when beginning to break, she still expresses some sort of wisdom. Seriously she is such a fascinating character. Aaaand I think I'm gonna stop here regarding Ougi because honestly, right now I've only said like 10% of everything I want to say and analyse but of course that'd be incredibly long. Just one last thing : it's interesting how her first reaction to Oshino making her his real niece isn't about him but about Hanekawa who actually went to Antarctica in order to find him. It really says a lot, about her and about Araragi (speaking of Araragi, he might not be one of my absolute all-time favorite characters but he's still one of the best MCs I've seen in anime and I love him). Other than that, I can easily say that Ougi aside, the real MVP of this episode was Oshino (though of course I have to give credit to Hanekawa). I found his intervention to be a bit of a Deus-Ex-Machina but it was a very welcome one, and it made me realise I really missed him. And it's actually pretty cute to think about how, when finding out something is pretending to be his niece, he just went and decided she indeed is his family. I mean, pretty sure the main reason he reacted that way was because he understood Ougi's real identity, but still, that's cute. Also, I said I'd stop with Ougi but I can't overlook that : does that make Ougi her own person now ? Well I guess so, and honestly, I'm so happy for her and for Araragi. They don't have to be stuck with each other since Ougi's mission is done now, but they can still exist as separate people going on with their own lives. I'm very curious to know what it means for Ougi, we got a glimpse in Hanamonogatari but I really need to rewatch it. And now about the rest... One thing that confused me a bit is about how Ougi apparently just sent the specialists at the other side of the world. That explains Kaiki's survival but how did she do that ?! And also why ? Yeah I don't really get that part, not entirely at least. And speaking of which, I'm a bit disappointed that in the end, Kagenui's disappearance didn't provide any development to Ononoki. I was really looking forward to her handling her master's disappearance in one of the ways Gaen said she would. But in the end, nothing. I kinda feel like she's been an underused character, that's a shame because I like her a lot. Well, there are many other things I could say regarding this episode, like the fact that I might've squealed a bit when Senjougahara and Hanekawa called each other by their first name, but I really could just go on forever and I gotta stop at some point. So I'll just end by saying that this was a wonderful conclusion to this show and I'm really gonna miss all those characters. To be honest I didn't find this season to be superior to Owari S1, one of the main reasons being that Gaen got a bit too much screentime for my taste since I kinda see her as one of the weaker characters in the show (I apology to her fans), but it was still a great season, and one of the best. I loved the Hitagi Rendezvous and of course Ougi Dark arcs. But while I said I'm gonna miss the characters, that's not entirely true since I still have Zoku Owarimonogatari to watch and I'm planning to read Off Season and Monster Season. Can't wait to see what's in store. |

Damn. We actually got Oshino Meme! I was hoping it'd be a bit more but I guess a minutes is better than none. Even got these ridiculous blood fountains again. That was quite reckless but I guess with a vampire at hand it's less risky. I was kind of surprised he went back to being half vampire though. Wasn't one thing with the driver license they talked on the date about that he couldn't take a photo as vampire? He had a driver license at the end of Hana, didn't he? Anyway. Who'd decline that offer from such a sweet vampire lady? lol Only the movies left for me to watch now... Guess it's coming to an end. |

I realized something about Ougi's name (and people with better Japanese than me can feel free to correct me). It is said Araragi came up with the name Ougi/folding fan/扇 by combining the radicals for door/戸 and feather/羽 to close the door on Hanekawa/羽川, as well has her being a "fan" of Kanbaru. But if you look at the pronunciation, there is also a third meaning. O-U-GI is written in 3 mora/syllables. When talking about a folding fan, the pitch drops after the 3rd mora O-U-GI↓. But since it's used as a Japanese name, people are dropping the pitch after the 1st mora when addressing her. But O↓-U-GI is also the pronunciation of inner mystery/secret technique/奥義. The only use of that word in the series that I know of is in episode 1 of Nisemonogatari. Before Araragi and Hachikuji have that vague foreshadowing talk about Hachikuji not disappearing and Araragi coming to save her (so basically the start of the Ougi origin story), they have the following exchange about the use of the "Courage to __"-technique.: A: I have completed your secret technique/Ougi! H: Oh no, I may have created a monster that cannot be undone. |

I wish I could create something like Ougi as well. I wonder if mine would turn out to be a beautiful girl. That'll be cool. Hmm, that was a decent ending. Notes from 2018: [Episode 1:] Araragi who is now dead by the Oddity Killer sword, Kokoro Watari held by Gaen appears in Avici Hell. The deepest of hell for becoming a vampire. Mayoi who is in Hell (as a child who died before her parents) was told by Gaen how to get to Avici Hell to save him and ressurect him. Ononoki is Mayoi'd successor. Teori. I don't remember him but Ononoki Yotsugi killed him, his puppet, not him. The specialist killer of immortals. Only Gaen and Oshino knew his technique. Although he failed the forbidden technique because he died but he's immortal in a way as he can always come back as his many dolls of himself. Honestly, I'm confused. ... I don't really get it but Oshino knew all of this would happen so he prepared for destiny to make it happen as it was supposed to. Every little thing by having Teori call Gaen, for them to then attempt to kill Araragi after he became a vampire or whatever. With Mayoi's 6ybgv alive rbrbas he forgot what it meant from the many times he's died. Before Gaen pulls the rope (Yume Watari) all the way to ressurect Araragi... Mayoi told him she'd go back to Hell piling rocks, so Araragi grabs her with his legs dragging her back to life. Shinobu fully back into her old full form had her claws ready to kill Gaen but stops herself after she sees Araragi back alive. Seems the darkness and more battles will come again because Araragi brought back Mayoi, but Gaen will now be ready to counterattack. But first. Araragi goes to his college entrance exams before he's late. Teori reveals that Ougi is the one who ordered for him to killed. [Episode 2:] White Day. After 6 months. Hitagi wants to go on a date. Tsukihi Sis thinks Ononoki is a plushie. Nadeko is out the hospital and Senjoighara can drive now. Weird though college students aren't allowed. Planetarium. Senjou reveals Hanekawa found out where Oshino is hiding. Planetarium was Hanekawa's idea. Senjou is studying geoscience. In a dream with Ougi. She mentions that Gaen and him will get cursed for bringing him back and Mayoi. Ougi is the principles of the universe. So... She feels the need to kill him for he has sinned. Him and Senjou were sleeping. Science museum. Bowling, karaoke. Total obedience to the winner. Araragi wins. Upset that he didn't have a present for her ready they finally call themselves by their first names. ... It was funny and cute but alright in a way since not much happened in 40 minutes. Ougi talks to Araragi in person. Claiming she is not the darkness and that she didn't order for him to be killed. She's aware of Gaen's counterattack but will head on to fight her anyway, and asks if Araragi will be on her side and help her. [Episode 3:] ... I gotta say that The Monogatari Series is extremely psychological and very well thought out with the Japanese character puns and mythology of the supernatural but it's very confusing at times as this is the case. I don't really understand the concepts of everything. Gaen, Hachikuji and Shinobu are playing baseball with rocks and Kokoro Watari, with Ononoki and Araragi. All of their lives is connected to the shrine of 400 years ago that is now that park. Now they wait for Ougi. Hachikuji actually came back as a ghost and will still have the darkness chase her. Gaen explains the story of what led to all of this. 400 years ago when Kiss-shot landed in Japan she destroyed the shrine and broke the water of worship and peace or whatever the fuck. But with that she also brought back water with rain as the ground was waterless so she kinda replaced the God there. So they moved to another place to make a new shrine, the water snake. 15 years ago her first minion while ressurecting ate all of the bad and wanted for Kiss-shot to be worshipped as the new God. ... Pretty much it. Makes sense but at the same time, I don't know wtf I'm supposed to understand. Along that. Araragi wants to keep his close ones safe, uncaring of his own while Shinobu will follow anything Araragi wants but what she really wants is turn back into a girl. While Ononoki is still in charge of taking care of Araragi which her big sister ordered until she comes back as she's improving her skills in mix martial arts. Two Conditions they must do. Put a God in the North Shrine. Hachikuji. Make her a God. A Snail. That can swallow the snake. Or whatever. And kill Ougi. Gaen predicted Ougi. Through experience of her older sister. Kanbarus mother who also met a similar apparition like Ougi who acts like the darkness. She plans to kill Ougi with the demon sword she created, the Apparition Killer, Kokoro Watari. But Araragi has to do it, like her sister did. He must reveal what she is because the darkness swallows apparitions who lie of who they are. Only he can do it. Before Gaen can reveal who Ougi is, meanwhile Tsukihi is helping Sengoku draw her manga for a contest. ... Ougi rides Tsukihi back to her house with her bike. They talk about ... metaphors. Explaining and wondering. Whatever. Basically in the end, calls Tsukihi a monster like her who can't live for herself because her future is to large as she doesn't know what to do with her future but likes to help others. She leads her to the old abandoned primary school building where Araragi went to in the past with Shinobu. She leaves her bike to Tsukihi to had back home and meets with Araragi. She's jealous of the pheonix. ... But the truth is... She is Araragi. He created her. She is his critism to guilt after meeting the darkness always wondering if he should be punished with his relationships of guilt with them and with himself. Amazing. As she is revealed the darkness appears to swallow her until Araragi saves her losing his arm as a metaphor to saving himself and accepting himself. Hanekawa then brings Oshino from Artantica where he acknowledges Ougi as his niece which then makes her become true and not a lie anymore, thus the darkness disappears. So Mayoi now a God. Shinobu and Araragi back to what they were. Karen who's going to become a high schooler who will always fight for justice. But Araragi tells her to help herself as well, just like he is. Tsukihi who still doesn't know she's a immortal Pheonix living as his sister. Ononoki still at his house with her big sister training at the north pole vs polar bears. And at their graduation ceremony... Pretty much. The beginning has some cute and funny moments but it wasn't that interesting because not much was happening but the metaphor and plot twist of the end is beautiful. Its amazing but overall it's not exactly great. Kinda sucks he'll only be able to see Mayoi in the shrine. I don't think it'd be safe to let her shrine unguarded or without wishes to grant I guess. |

Kinda a strange ending because there's another season. That being said, it's really fitting for the show to have a nonending ending. I'm really glad that I figured out Ougi was Araragi before it happened because it really built up the suspense for if Araragi would accept himself or not. Honestly a great episode and season, can't wait to see what the finale looks like. |

It's been a while since I had an ending this satisfying. Pretty much every plotline resolved and all previous arcs somehow relevant. I wasn't expecting to feel for Ougi but here we are. Best season for sure, followed closely by the Second Season. Still have Zoku which I'm guessing must be the epilogue. |

Well that somehow turned out to be a very nice conclusion, thank god (which would be Hachikuji now huh lol) Araragi is so stubborn. I knew it didn’t feel right doing away with Ougi, even if she did a lot of bad she also kinda felt like one of the girls, loved when Araragi saved her from the orb of death, such a good scene. And look who finally decided to show up, Meme fucking Oshino, you’re telling me this man was in Antarctica and Hanekawa managed to find him there? I feel like that needs a whole season of dedication, the adventures of Hanekawa or something lol. And what does this hide and seek champion do? He goes and confirms Ougi’s existence as his niece and gets the mini Vegas Sphere off her back, Ougi definitely didn’t deserve this kind of treatment but I’m happy she did, may the sleeves goblin live on lol, it might be the end of Araragi’s adolescence but not the end of Ougi Oshino, I guess it makes a bit more sense that she’s in Hanamonogatari now. But things didn’t end there, we got quite the satisfying finale featuring the fire sisters, our lord and savior Hachikuji, a very nice final moment for big Shinobu and Araragi, and finally Hanekawa, Senjougahara and Ougi for the graduation, although it looks like just three people are graduating with the usual Monogatari emptiness but it would feel weird if they changed that now lol. And there was that moment with that girl that was darkened out, but besides that this felt like a great ending to the series as whole, this has me wondering what Zoku Owari could possibly be about, as well as the upcoming new season, but I’ll find out soon enough. And that was the end of the 2nd Season of Owari, really enjoyed this season and Owari as a whole, a really great entry to the series and the Araragi saga, the man has been through so much in this part of the story alone and now it feels like we’re at the end, it’s a weird feeling but also a good one, and it’s also nice knowing there’s more show after this lol, don’t gotta be sad that it’s over quite yet. I really enjoyed this whole Ougi ordeal, she may not have been a big “wahaha I am evil” kinda villain but she was a very entertaining one, she really kept things interesting, pretty much anytime she was on screen I was having a good time. And of course you had the first two arcs of this season which, although short, were great as well, they played a big part in why the final arc was so great. And with each arc came banger OPs, all of them were very good, tho I think my favorite is probably Ougi’s, and that Claris ED that changed visuals with each arc slapped as well, felt fitting for this season which had things coming to an end on several fronts. And with that, I guess I’m moving on to the last thing I need to watch before the new season coming out this summer, then I’ll probably go back to the beginning again because it’s been so long since I’ve seen that First Season content, not sure when exactly I’ll do that but it will happen. |

2024 and this still hits so hard, still my favorite season of Monogatari and its still an excellent conclusion to the main story of Araragi's youth. A very on-brand but effective and fantastic conclusion overall and the final few moments hit nicely with Araragi, Senjougahara and Hanekawa's graduation there. The ending song elevated that a lot too, one of my favorites (although the original Bakemonogatari ED still is my favorite in all of anime). |

What a perfect conclusion especially how Meme Oshino came back and just dropped "I respect you" that line was so tuff, Worried a bit for Hanekawa get that piece of ur brain back bru. I really love how everything came together tho, Im gonna miss Araragis journey so much Im 100% gonna rewatch every year or so(maybe but that will be a plan). Owarimonogatari tho Im not sure where I rank it I love it but Bakemonogatari S2 was also really good I can't think which I like better. So for now il say both match up in terms of everything... |

Easily one of the best episodes in the whole series. Oshino showing up after all that time, along with Hanekawa being an absolute boss like always. The scene with Shinobu and Koyomi again declaring their lifelong bond to each other was also beautiful. This feels like the end to a whole series, yet there's still so much story to be told. Can't wait to see what other stories there are in Monogatari. |

I've Finally been able to watch this season. And well, I'm feeling nostalgia, happiness and sadness to see a decade long journey ending.... I know there is Another season left, but technically, the main course ended here, hence the title "Owari". Except that I have this feeling like I've already seen this before... I just didn't remember until now, anyway, I truly love this series, so of course I give it a 10/10, without thinking. A beautiful conclusion, with a great send off. I'm a bit too late, but here I am. Owari... |

Perfect end that tied everything together . Really happy I watched this series there truly is nothing like it and I doubt there ever will be again . I loved Araragi's Character development and all of the other characters felt so real and I love how flawed they were and how they change and how it affects their relationships . Owarimonogatari is a 10/10 with Ougi Dark and the Sodachi arcs being one of my favorite Monogatari arcs |
