I’m not an information broker. I didn’t even know about that job until you told me about it. I’ve never even had a job before. I know this kind of stuff about Baccano and the author because I did some Google searches, I looked on Wikipedia, Wikia fandom, and the Baccano and Durarara subreddits. No, I Don't just do research on series I like. I Will do research on series I think are bad or mediocre because sometimes I’m just interested in learning more about them. There are also anime that I haven't even watched yet that I know a lot about. Thanks for respecting my opinion.

Yeah, the cg in houseki no kuni is very good. I will watch it in the near future because I’ve heard great things about it. I might read the manga as well depending on how much entertainment I get from the anime. It’s unfortunate that there isn’t a season two of it. There’s a decent chance that it will get another season because it’s sold roughly 46,000 DVDs which means that it was most likely successful. The reason why there hasn’t been another season yet is because the stupid production committee doesn’t think it will be financially successful right now. I hope I like it as much as you do. Yep, there isn’t much for the beastars anime to adapt. There are only 10 more volumes left. Just because the studio is working on Beastars, that doesn’t mean they can’t work on houseki no Kuni season 2. They just need to hire more employees. Yeah I see a lot of people begging for season two of it.

I’m also hoping that hakomari will get an anime adaptation. It’s possible for them to adapt all of it in one season. I wouldn’t recommend it though because the pacing would be bad and it would skip a lot of content. Yeah, the anime would definitely boost its popularity. Yep, it’s pretty unknown outside of the ln community. Even though I’m not a part of the ln community, I know about it because of how popular it is in the ln community.

Good to know that that person was wrong about it being hard to adapt hakomari. Some people will just come on with the most ridiculous stuff ever. If it gets an anime, I hope they don’t mess up that scene. They’re going to need to get a really good writer in order to not mess it up. Yeah, light novels can have really long titles sometimes. My favorite long ln title is “My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy”. What's your favorite long ln title? Back on topic, I wish I liked reading so I could experience great novels like hakomari. Well, it will be 90% as good as the light novel as long as they get a really good staff. If it has a bad staff, it won’t be very good.

I used to also watch a decent amount of top 10 videos several years ago. I stopped watching them because I just didn’t like them anymore. My YouTube history has never been full of top 10 anime or something Like that. I get my recommendations from google searches, reddit, twitter, MAL, youtube, and much more. I don’t even know What most of the top 10 I watched were.

I've have always liked dramatic series. I'm glad that you could find a way to like drama series. I honestly never knew until now that houseki no kuni was a drama. I always thought that it was just an action anime. Dramatic moments don't make me cry. I really only cry if I'm going through a tough time or if I'm depressed.

I'm like you when it comes to highly praised series except with manga instead of lns. If I really like an anime that doesn't have another season, then I'll just read the manga. I'll also plan on reading manga that are highly praised. Another reason to read manga is that there are some anime like gantz, tokyo ghoul, and deadman wonderland that are bad adaptations of great manga. That's what I did with one outs.

I honestly found baccano to be mediocre but entertaining. I felt there are better anime I could've watched instead. I guess baccano just wasn't an anime fro me and that's completely fine. I'm perfectly fine with you liking it. There's nothing wrong with that. I'm not one of those assholes that will say it's a bad take because I don't agree with your opinion. People who say that sort of stuff discourage discussion because it stops people from talking about what they liked and disliked about something. There are some people who won't state their opinion because they are afraid that people will hate them for that. It's still pretty sad though that there isn't another season of baccano because a lot of people really liked it. It most likely won't get another season sadly because it was a failure in Japan. The dvds sold an average of 3,821 copies per volume. In order for an anime to be successful, the dvds needs to sell roughly 5,500 copies per volume. There's still a chance for another season though. There have been anime that have sold even worse yet they still got more seasons. The ln has sadly been on hiatus since 2016 because the creator has had a lot of health problems. So bad in fact that he had to finish a volume of durarara sh on his phone in the hospital. His health has thankfully gotten better. He recently released a chapter of dead mount death play on October 1st so the baccano ln still has a chance of being continued.

Yep, there are definitely a lot of great manga and lns that haven't gotten an anime yet. I haven't read it yet but people think that pysren should get anime. It probably won't get an anime sadly because it wasn't popular in Japan. I highly doubt that there will be an anime of utsuro no hako to zero no maria sadly because people say that it would be incredibly hard to adapt into an anime because it really takes advantage of the ln medium and it wasn't popular enough in Japan. Yeah, I've heard really good things about it.

That's unfortunate that you were spoiled code geass' amazing ending. Well on the positive side, at least you didn't figure out the deeper meaning of it until later. I don't really like watchmojo. At this point, they've pretty much run out of ideas for lists. Yeah, it's fine to say that. I've watched code geass seasons 1 and 2. I'll probably watch the Akito the exiled movies, lelouch of the resurrection, and Z of the Recapture in the future as long as I get some sort of entertainment from them. First, I need to watch a summary of those 2 seasons or a summary of the recap movies since I've forgotten a lot. Before I watch lelouch of the resurrection, I'll have to learn the differences between the recap movies and seasons 1 and 2. So far the only difference I know is that

I still can't believe there are a lot of popular anime I haven't watched yet like violet evergarden. A realistic art style doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to be dramatic. I'm sure that there are plenty of anime that have realistic art styles that aren't dramatic. I'm fine with watching things that make me sad. The only anime that has made me cry so far is a silent voice. You can still have fun with things that make you cry.

That's a good way to avoid spoilers from your friend. That probably won't work with my friend because he will pretty much spoil anything for me. I thankfully haven't been spoiled slime and classroom of the elite yet. It's quite rare to see someone like you when it comes to classroom of the elite because you like the anime and light novel. Most ln readers I've seen absolutely hate the anime because of all of the changes it made. Even though it's a bad adaptation, I think I'll just stick to the anime because anime onlies seem to really like it and I don't really like reading. Even if he doesn't mind spoilers, there are others ways to get revenge on him. Here are a few ideas! A video that youtube recommended literally had a massive spoiler from code geass in title but I thankfully misinterpreted it a little bit.

I think that you are also the only person I've chatted with who has the same birthday as me.
maho_shojo_ai Sep 17, 2021 10:11 PM
You're welcome. That might be one of the reasons why someone might hate season 3 but it comes off as super nit-picky. Hating an entire season because of one nitpick is going too far.

I gave s1 an 8/10. I can't really come up with any reasons since I'm not really a critic. The only complaints I really have are in the form of nitpicks.

Yep, over the course of 2 seasons the mc changed a lot. I might be wrong since I haven't watched it in over a year but I think that reason why he has changed so much is because it is a part of the author's message. The message of oregairu is to not act like Hachiman. It's quite ironic that the people that this message is for misunderstand it. I used to be one of those people until I read a reddit comment. I haven't watched s3 either but I think that he'll change more as well. I thought that s1 and s2 were just as good as each other. I really liked the art style change. S1 had a more cartoony and less realistic art style while s2 had a more mature and realistic art style. S3 might not necessarily have a better story because of the ratings. People might've thought that the story wasn't as good as the other seasons but the writing characters, etc might be better than the previous seasons that it makes up for a worse story.

When your friend tries to spoil you, just cover your ears and start screaming. That's what I do. Also, if you use reddit, don't say that you are an anime only or else source material readers might dm you spoilers. My friend has also spoiled several anime for me like nisekoi, jojo parts 2-3, and ouran high school host club. Granted I pretty much asked for the nisekoi spoiler because I wasn't going to read the manga after I finished the anime. I got revenge on him by spoiling a character that doesn't win in oregairu. I want to get even more revenge for spoiling me and using the wrong watch orders but I don't want to be an asshole.

Off topic but my birthday is also on April 21st.

Other than not having enough episodes, I've heard rumors that the reason why the oregairu anime cut out a lot of Yukino moments is because the staff liked another character more than Yukino. Well I wouldn't mind either if the author makes a series longer as long as it has the same quality. Most ln readers did say that volumes 13 and 14 weren't as good as the previous volumes. They absolutely hate shin, ketsu, and everything else that came after volume 14. While I prefer not to be spoiled, I don't mind spoilers anymore. It's my fault for spoiling myself because the post was tagged as a spoiler. I thought that the post would only contain spoilers for season 2. Yeah, I need to be more careful next time. I'm fine with late responses as well.
maho_shojo_ai Sep 12, 2021 10:37 PM
Yeah that's the thing with the source material. They can provide different experiences. For example, adaptations often make some changes and cut out some content. Especially with an anime like oregairu. Light novel readers say that the anime cut out a lot of content. The light novels on average had 220 pages with the longest one having 320 pages. The anime on average adapted 1 volume within 2-4 episodes with 1 episode in season 2 cramming 1 volume into 1 episode. If I remember correctly, a 220 page light novel volume needs 6 episodes in order for most things to be adapted. Light novel readers say that the anime would've been better if the anime hadn't cut out so much content.

On the topic of oregairu, it's sad that the creator is milking it. Oregairu was originally supposed top be 12 volumes long but the publishing company forced him to increase it to 14 volumes. After it finished, he wrote a sequel called shin, a novel that focuses on Yui, and a few others. I hope he stops milking it because he could be doing better things. He has created several other anime and light novels.

A few more things about oregairu! Reddit sadly spoiled me that a certain character doesn't win. It was a mistake for me to pay a little less attention during season 2 episode 4 because nothing made sense.

Sorry for the late response! I've been super busy with school.

I'm glad that you resolved your problems about saop.

Thanks for recommending my fate order to people who want to get into the fate franchise. There are a lot of people who sadly don't know about the fan edits or the other way to skip the spoilers for ubw and hf in the 2006 anime. I almost messed up the fate watch order. Thankfully youtube recommended me a video by legendaryRQA which has the order I'll use. I have episode 1 of ubw as watched on my list. It turns out that I had watched episode 0 which has another entry on this site. I'm too lazy to fix it.

I don't know the order for monogatari you have in your notes but I really suggest watching it in novel release order. I finally found the post that explains everything wrong with the airing order for monogatari. Here's the link! https://www.reddit.com/r/araragi/comments/8v9dy9/everything_wrong_with_monogatari_airing_order/ Don't read it until you have watched all of monogatari because it contains spoilers! I will just watch the anime rather than reading the light novel. I like watching things better than reading things.

I'm fine with the late reply. A lot of people know me for taking a long to respond to their messages because I'm super busy with school.

Surprisingly I also started watching Game of thrones but it's was too boring so I switched to The walking dead and it's pretty good.

I am having a great time just trying not to get Covid.
