A Certain Magical Index (light novel)
| As some of you may know, its been a while since the last entry in the Toaru Series (most recently the railgun s special on November 27, 2013). I was wondering if there is any news regarding the next anime. |

| As an avid fan.... I'm pretty sure that that wouldn't happen but I still have this tiny glimmer of hope that they will do it. I would love to see another anime with best girl as a character. I just finished Index season 1 and haven't seen season 2 yet, but so far it's been a great series. It's like 100 episodes which is one of the longest anime I've seen so it's not completely necessary to have more of it, but I would still appreciate it. |

| OP that title T_T i though a new series was announced... to answer your question i don't think it will ever happen now sadly JC staff is notorious for not finishing series they started at best they will mostlikely pull a shakugan no shana season 3 and cram the rest of the series into one season that took them 4 years to make season 3 we will probably be in 2020 by the time they remember |

| Guys don't lose hope. lately a lot of old anime have got sequels. Jigoku shojo,Overlord, and a reboot of kino no tabi. so stay positive. well i am... we will definitely get a new season. |
| I still have some little hope we would have a season 3 one day (I mean, the series is insanely popular in Japan). A bit off-topic, I still can't believe J. C. Staff hasn't even announced a third season, yet has produced aberrations like Taboo Tattoo or Schoolgirl Strikers. |

| fans waiting for this long. Series is popular, sold very well.. even the railgun spin off had 15k sales average, the movie did extrem. well but here we are. waiting for dont know.. 6 years for a s3 while they animate one shit anime at another. sometimes i dont understand those guys and their stupid broadcast decisions.. maybe i am used to the us model where stuff get cancel after being a flop and they have actually real seasons each year with new and old series. |

| I dont understand JC.... Just follow the fcking novel + dont screw up the animation + dont leave out anything important = massive sales. Like someone said earlier the series are super popular. Im following this series since 2011 and is one of my all time favorite. Not been reading the books since i dont want to get spoiled if an anime ever comes out |
