| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I thought this was a really well thought-out episode. Pretty funny in the beginning with Sayaka not understanding time (still), the rice balls, and formulating a plan to get the cup. Also, for an episode entirely about time travel, it's very cool that they stayed in the same place and time for the episode, and it was still very entertaining. Best of all, I think everyone is finally on the same page (except maybe Sayaka) regarding the rules. |
| I think she understands the circumstances of time-traveling, but her greed makes her want to take all risks to obtain her objective. Watching this episode made me want some pudding though... sadly, I have none. It was great having the Master being able to time-travel though, even if it's at the expense of Yayoi, kinda sad seeing the salt guy by the tree though; I'd think he'd just go to the ocean and start a business or something. |

| A good episode on time travel. I kinda feel like this is a big detour from the main story though. Anyways...looking forward to the next episode. |
| I am a little bit disappointed of this episode, because while the series' strong point are its running gags, relying on nothing but them is boring. Judging from the manga there really is no need to tell the same story 10 times with fish/milk/cake/tea cups/noodles/... Not saying it is bad or anything. |

Completely agree with you on that... the story overall is getting repetitive now.. this season started out very nicely with some character development for Arashi (her feelings for Hajime) ... but soon afterward it just dropped back to the regular stuff that we've seen enough of since first season (especially that ONE background scene where they used it over and over again... this is too much even for SHAFT) |

| Another comedy focused episode? Bit let down. I still enjoyed it and it was quite amusing, I have just been wanting some more character development. Maybe they are saving it for the last few episodes, who knows. Guess they started to show some romance development with the master which was interesting. Salt guy at the beginning was awesome, time travel ideas were once again clever, good episode still. |
