Schenkopp vs Kircheis was really epic. Both are about the best close combat fighters on their side (together with Luneberg apparently) so I wonder how the fight would have endet if it went on.
I probably regret this post by now.

Awesome battle scenes in this episode.

Now that's the kind of battles I've come to know in the main OVA series; gritty, chaotic... I love it! Schenkopp vs Kircheis was very brief but it was the highlight of the episode for me.

Uhmm why were those severed wires from wire-guided missiles became thick as cables when they wrapped the tank? O_o

What I don't get about the severed wires from the wire-guided missiles was why when they came back they wrapped around the tank and somehow immobilized it (despite the fact that would be no different than wrapping a rope around the body of a car . . . It's not like it couldn't just drive off as if nothing happened after words)

Despite it's brevity, Kircheis vs. Schenkopp is one of the highlights of these Gaiden. Fighting toe to toe with a beast like Schenkopp...It really puts Kircheis talent for hand to hand combat on display.

That fleet battle was just EPIC! What I particularly enjoyed having seen most of the franchise was it perfectly illustrated the disorderly chaos and mess when the two fleets clashed.

Honestly of all the battles, even those that painstakingly spell out the scenario failed to do what the first ten seconds of a 'bird's eye view' of ships turning around like confused fish going up and down, exploding and crashing into another.

Especially considering the technology in which jamming technology made it obscenely hard to communicate, admirals are routinely praised for maintaining good formation of their fleets.

Top notch stuff. I thought I would be bored by the offensive/defensive of the base but boy was I wrong! A perfect quasi-mix of star wars sci fi and grounded military action.

Best episode in the OHBS Gaiden so far - the chaos in both the ground and space battles was well choreographed. Schenkopp vs Kircheis was a fun bonus, and Schenkopp completely annihilating Luneberg was extremely satisfying. There's only room for one smug sonovagun on this planet. I wonder whose shot saved Luneberg from being halved? Seemed like something only Kircheis could pull off.

Why was Schenkopf back in the base to fight Kircheis? Wasn't he outside with his battalion the whole time? I thought it was just a random Alliance guy who got killed when the rocket blasted a hole to the exterior.

Noooo, not the hottie. At least she had a great last night.

Was really hyped to see Kircheis vs Schenkopp. A few episodes ago we also saw Ovlesser, would've been cool to see him as well, but he has his own fleet and was somewhere else.

The Schönkopf vs Kircheis fight was awesome. This really highlights how strong/how much potential Kircheis really has in physical combat.

Is there anything Kircheis cannot do? He could have ended series in 50 episodes if he lived!
