they had similarities with mini character

Watching the second episode of Yumeiro Patissiere I kept being reminded of La Corda D'Oro. Sure the fairies have different ways of working between the shows but there's quite a few similarities there otherwise.

ichigo is like mikan she is clumsy, funny and cute. the story has a taste of MAGIC

Although Yumeiro is targeted to a younger audience than Shokugeki, both revolve around food competitions and friendship, and make you want to eat a lot of delicious sparkling food! You'll learn a lot about culinary and both are very enjoyable as long as you love food and hard working characters.

Yumeiro Patissiere and Bonjour Koiaji Patissiere are two anime series with the same themes. A girl with a passion for sweets is admitted to a school with many people skilled at baking. However, while Ichigo and Sayuri show different characteristics at first, their talents are of the same caliber. Upon entering the special school, they both meet prince-like guys who help them adapt to their new circumstances, and there is an obvious hint of romance. Overall, Bonjour feels like a shorter but enjoyable version of Yumeiro. They both give off the same feeling and are captivating from the moment they begin.

Both shows are about protagonists who dream to become baking chefs due to their influence during childhood. Both protagionists have clumsy personalities but they are talented.

It's about a girl who dreams of becoming a patissiere like her grandmother who passed away. She goes to a specialized school and meets a lot of people, makes new friends. Sugar Apple Fairy Tale reminded me of the vibe Yumeiro gave me and I really loved it back when I watched it so, give it a try. There are also fairies included, so the magic element is not missing.

Another show on « Patisserie » in a totally different style, s'il vous plait.
report Recommended by hinotori
Both anime have cute guy characters that are mischievous, smart, narcissistic, and meanies that will keep you entertained and wanting more all the time. You wont regret watching and it will make you laugh with a small taste of romance.

Spirits are like Fairies tasked with something in order for them to be rewarded on their own homes, and to do this they should partner with a human!

The plots for both aren't really similar with Yumeiro focusing on Ichigo pursuing to be a patissiere and Itazura focusing on Kotoko pursuing Naoki's love. Simply put, one's baking and the other's love. But the main thing in both stories is how hard the main female lead works to achieve her goals. Both are initally utterly (well almost) hopeless, ditzy, and klutzy but it's also what makes them lovable.

Both of these Anime are sweet and light hearted for the most part. They also have a main character who is naive and innocent.

Watching “12-sai.: Kiss, Kirai, Suki” reminded me of “Yumeiro Patissiere”. In this piece we have a love triangle similar to the one running through the older series. One of the main differences in the love triangle was that all three characters had more traits then the stereotypes that were used for the three characters in “Yumeiro Patissiere”, and the guy is far from being the jerk Kashino is in “Yumeiro Patissiere”. In fact – one of the things I liked about Takao-kun was the fact he was actually mature for his age. Another thing I liked was how it dealt with the issue of Kokoa much  read more

both main characters (ichigo and kirari) loves to eat :) when they found there dreams they want to give there best for it.. kirari first decides to be an idol because she found inspiration to seiji (first love/ love at first sight) ichigo realizes her dream...her long ago dream that she kept in her heart when she met henri (her first love) making her remember her past grandmother and aim to be a patissiere the character makoto and hiroto in some ways are the same ♥

These two shows give off the same 'vibe' while watching them. Also, both have a airheaded female protagonist who is working hard to accomplish a specific dream - Chihaya wants to become a Karuta queen and Ichigo wants to become a pastry chef- while staying oblivious to romantic affections of her teammates.

Looking for another anime like Shokugeki no Souma? Then you should watch Yume iro Patissiere. i highly recomend this anime if you like Shokugeki no Souma. They are very similar with cooking and very romantic. It is a must watch.

Based from the hobbies of the girls in the Suite Precure series, it could he said that the two anime both contain sweets. The original opening also has a somewhat similar melody to Yumeiro Patissiere in the opening phrases. For Suite Precure fans, if you enjoy making or watching sweets-making anime, then Yumeiro Patissiere is a definite recommendation.

Since Fine likes sweets, she kind of reminded me of Ichigo in Yumeiro Patissiere. They are both cute animes that everyone likes.

Both story are very alike, for one they follow a girl who have the same dream to be good at cooking. in jangeum case it's lots of different dishes and in amano case there are sweets. also girls are probably about same age.
report Recommended by Kagu89
Both anime talk about cooking. Both have motivation to learn more of cooking. CMB is more like travel to learn different food of china and its old anime. YP is more focus on school life and learn cooking and have learn different kind of dessert.
report Recommended by Litastar
Each focus on a girl who's trying to achieve their dreams along with the help of their magical best friend (Ruby and Vanilla). They each have to go to a special school and just have a hint of romance. They're also both kids' shows.

A girl who has a natural talent is scouted, and although she's a complete amateur she's really good at what she does once she's learned a few things. In Skip Beat, she is trying to be an actress, and in Yumeiro Patissiere, she is trying to become a... patissiere... Both girls get a lot of feedback and advice whenever they are trying to do something, and they use that to their advantage and become even more skilled.

Yumeiro Patissiere and Catch Teenieping are both adorable shows that include baking! The sweets in these two shows look so good. :)

If you want to see more of the Patisserie arc, I also recommended this anime, they have a similar goal to win the Grand Prix, it has cute aesthetics, very cute desserts where you really want to eat it, and be surrounded by pretty boys, and dabbled in fairies called "sweet spirits"
report Recommended by OldSkoolBrayan
Both are shows about a young girl with a passion for baking, albeit not all the skills required. While Precure has flashy transformations, Yumeiro has cute fairies (which, technically, Precure does too). Yumeiro is great for Kirakira fans who want a heartwarming, slice-of-life story and Kirakira is wonderful for Yumeiro fans who'd like a bit more action.
report Recommended by minniemoon
Both about girls reaching their goals/dreams. They have a similar feel when watching, except that Pretty Rhythm: Aurora Dream is more girly. Both have their own mini guardian that helps them.

Those both of the girls, Ryou and Ichigo they are related about her Grandmother's memories in cooking and to inspire their food as the beautiful taste, both of them aiming to cook the food from memories to Grandmother.

Hikari and Ichigo has this "you want a battle? game on!" spirit and they are very persistent in achieving something which made them similar. I could even see Takishima in Kashino. Both are amazing !!!!

Anime about sweets. Ichigo is a girl whos going in to Saint Maria high school and got her sweet spirit at the same begining. She sucked at makeing sweets, but with time and good friends, she wont her first cooking turnament.

In CLAMP G.T., one of the main characters is really cool at making sweets, and his idea is that sweets should make people happy. In Yumeiro Pattissierre, everyone is like this!
report Recommended by SuperSamos
While Yumeiro Patissiere is for an older audience than Fairilu, both animes share the similarity of little fairies who are somehow connected to humans. In YP the focus is on humans, while in Fairilu, the focus is on fairies, and their world. If you tend to enjoy chibi kawaii things, and slice of life with lots of colorful magic, you might want to give a try to these shows.

Both are shows aimed at young girls, that feature a somewhat clumsy main character who starts out badly at what she does, but slowly gets better. They both have cute mascot fairies, and a land where these fairies live that the main characters visit. Both are super cute and will make you smile!

Both series involves magic and fantasy as well as romance between main characters. The art style is also somewhat similar and as the series goes, misunderstandings takes place that leads to drama and plot holes.
