Yume-iro Pâtissière

When i watched Shugo Chara, it reminded me YP greatly! 1. bishonen, reverse harem 2. little cute pocket boys and girls ^^! 3. character design and the colours are very alike 4. Shugo Chara also has a cooking topic, and a patissiere episode! in this ep i couldn't help but think "i want moooar YP" 5. friendship, teamwork, and stories about helping people in different situations with you tomodachi 6. Hanabusa Aido is similar to Tadase, and Andou is a bit like Sanjou Kairi 

Yumeiro Patissiere is similar to Shugo Chara because both animes have a small character spirit thing with the main characters. They are both shojo-like and has something supernatural in the show. In addition the main characters are both sanguine, persevering, determined, and rather cute!  

It reminded me of Shugo Chara because they both have the little fairy-like characters,and the shuojo-ness along with all the cool guys. 

Both are mostly directed for children - but still manages to keep it mature enough that teenagers, and maybe even grown-ups, can enjoy it. They also have these "things" (I have no idea what to call them); Sweet spirits and chara's! Only the people with sweet spirits or charas can see and hear them. Although Shugo Chara is a magical girl anime and Yumeiro Patissiere is not, they give off the same feeling when watching. 

they both have little spirits or mini angels following them helping them to reach ther goals there both comedy,romance,school life and it's a reverse herem. it's a realy good show so just watch it ok! =) 

This is similar to shugo chara because they both have a little guardian (or fairy in this case). 

Both anime are drawn similar. The heroine is a clumsy, cute girl and all bishounen want her, but of course she chooses the `best`. Also in both of the anime are these spirits or charas :D 

you will really feel the soul of chara in shugo chara is totally like sweets spirit in yumeiro patissiere . i some times thing the voice actors is same . the two series have magical creatures help the girl in the anime and two series around girl want to do some thing  

Both shows revolve around the Idea of dreams and growing up. they also have some hilarious humor (as well as Hot guys for all you fan girls), both also have great romance scenes. 

the protagonist characteristic are similar  

Both animes focus on girls who want to find their 'would-be' selves. After finding their 'would-be' selves, they want to improve. Both are also in the 'elite' group in their schools. They even have little spirits that help them. 

Similar theme and style with both involving romance, love trials, and fantasy. Storyline gets extensive as the episodes drags and the main girl deals with many problems with the help of her friends. Both seeks to find their own self and accomplish their goals: one dedicated to helping others while the other tries to become a professional cook.  

Well, they both have things following them around (Shugo Chara: Charas, Yumeiro: Sweets Spirits) and if you consider the Guardians team mates, then it's similar that way too. 

Both have girls starting out at a new school, and get immediately pulled into the most popular group (in SC the guardians, in YP the top chef people). Both girls don't realize why they are there at first, but it's because they have relations to little fairy characters, except in Shugo Chara, the guardians want her in the group, but she doesn't, and in Yumeiro Patissiere, it was up to the teachers. The fairy characters both help the main girl with abilities that she wouldn't normally have, but as it goes on, she gets better at them on her own. Shugo Chara is a lot like Yumeiro Patissiere. First off is the little characters. In Yumeiro Patissiere, Ichigo has Vinilla and Amu has Ran, Miki, and Su. The people the girls hang out with are very popular people. The romance is cute! Same with the characters. Both anime have the same feel to them. I watched both series and they are really great. I would suggest you watch both of them! 

In both anime are both for children and have similarities of having a mini spirit. In Shugo Chara, Amu wishes to become herself or i should say her real personality, to be able to have courage of showing her true emotion. In Yumeiro Patissiere, Ichigo wanted to become a good patissiere to make the people who eat her sweet to smile. Also, in both anime they have a fall in love with the bad/mean yet sometimes nice. Furthermore, Ichigo's sweet spirit and Amu's 4 guarding spirit help them to reach their dream/wishes they made. 

Main girls... meeting "fairy"-like creatures... having taught by one... learning... trying to appeal to others... both are kind of reverse-harem type... both stories are kinda cliche... 

well, the main character of la corda who plans to excel in playing violin also encountered a fairy but instead of sweet fairy, she encountered a music fairy... 

The basic theme is different, cooking vs music. But in both anime the main character, both females in a group of other males mostly, strives with their group to be better. The idea of making other happy is shown alot throughout both also the idea that you need to love cooking/music and be happy yourself in order to be good. Theres the slightest bit of romance and great friendships that start a little iffy. But in a personal opinion i think they were both joyful anime and very worth watching. Hope this helps ;] 

These two shows have very similar plots, except Yumeiro Patissiere takes place at a (middle school) pastry school and La Corda D'Oro takes place at a (high school) music academy. Seriously, it's practically the same show. 

Both have a girl who attends a school that revolves around skills (one is music, the other is cooking). Both of the founders for the schools had a relationship with a fairy, and so there is a big statue of the fairy at the front of the school. The girl meets a fairy and at first is a bit shocked (Kahoko from Kin. no Corda more so) but then gradually builds a friendship and trust with them. The fairies help the girl with a skill that they are absolutely terrible at, but then the girl slowly get better and can do things on her own. 

The fairies, the competitions, and the characters are all quite similar. (And that statue!) I liked Yumeiro better. 

Faries/Spirits that help an inexperienced main character hone in on their artistic potential in order to build skill and technique.  

La Corda and Yumeiro are both Shoujo and Reverse Harem and involve a girl who joins a competition, though only a "newbie” in what the competition is about. They both also have a Spirit/Fairy. 

Both main characters transfer to an art school and have to catch up to the rest, who are really talented. They are also surrounded by handsome guys with a talent for the art 

Even though the theme is different (in one is Music and in the other is Cooking), the story is basically the same. A girl (MC) with a skill that they are terrible at starts learning and strives to be better. They're surrounded by a group of very attractive guys, and get some help of "fairy"-like creatures. There are also some hints of romance here and there in both stories. 

The characters look a bit similar and basically the main character is a bit clumsy, was recommended to be in the school just like gakuen alice so the characters in the story expect something high of the main character. I love this anime it made me wanna bake some cakes lolz :p 

both get accepted in the school buy a teacher finding there talents...and both have good humor 

take a look at Ichigo and Mikan. TAKE A LOOK AT THEM THEM. (And plus both their names are fruits. XD Seriously, ichigo=strawberry and Mikan=orange) The most of the other characters in Yumeiro have a corresponding one in Gakuen. 

The story of romance is similar, at first Natsume hated Mikan just like how Kashino and Ichigo didnt get along. Mikan is also like Ichigo, cheerful, clunsy and has that "never give up" attitude. Natsume is also like Kashino unsociable and mean at first, but cares later on in the story. 

They're (Ichigo and Mikan) are both teased around by boys, but work with them in the end. Both anime are really cute!! 

The characters and conflicts are similar. Both revolve around young love and in both, the female lead character is very dense. Natsume and Kashino act the same, yet kashino looks like Ruka.  

Both involves magic and has very cute characters and plot.  

the characters are similar. very similar. in personality neither in drawings. 

The main character in both is a clumsy, energetic, and well-meaning young girl thrust into an extraordinary school environment. She starts at the bottom of the social hierarchy and has to endure ridicule from her classmates, but through positivity and hard work, she gradually wins over the trust of her classmates, while achieving a new level of maturity and self-actualization. While in Yume-iro, Ichigo has something more tangible to work on (improving as a patissiere), Mikan from Gakuen Alice mostly directs her efforts towards interpersonal relationships and defining where her morals stand. Regardless, the two really go through the wringer, making it all the more satisfying when we see them triumph in the end. read more 

About young kids, includes their school life, romance, hardships, and determination to achieving their dreams. Both main leads (Amano Ichigo and Mikan Sakura) are clumsy, goal-driven, kind, and fall for the bad boy/cold type :3. Both are very cute and lighthearted series that I suggest to give a try :) 

Similar in both anime revolves around cooking/baking foods, as well training to become better at which they want to specialize in (yume-iro as a patissiere, and in shokugeki as a chef). As-well, as having both anime explain how they created their food, and how the judge explains what they feel when they tasted the food created. They both share comedy - school-life, and explanation of how they created such food. So if you enjoy one of these anime, you'll surely enjoy the other. 

They're both ooking anime and they both encourage teamwork and friendship. the only differences is that Shokugeki no Souma has an Ecchi feel and Yumeiro Patissiere is just cokking pastries :3 

- both have food competitions - both are set in a high-class academy where the students all make food - both main characters were disliked by the students when they first entered - both main characters are seen as "commoners" The two anime are extremely similar however Shokugeki no Souma is targeted to an older audience because of it's slight ecchi and comedy whereas Yumeiro Patissiere is more kid-friendly, especially because the characters are all still very young. 

While both animes are about cooking and food, Yume-iro Patissiere is more towards baking, along with a bit of magic. Both animes involve the main character overcoming the obstacles they have towards cooking/baking, using some kind of special 'power' or sense they have from experiences at home. These two animes, while both having some kind of romance on the side, have a lot of competition between characters - though Shokugeki no Souma is more competitive than Yume-iro Patissiere. Both of these kept me hooked all the way until the very end, and so I think if you enjoyed Shokugeki no Souma, you should watch Yume-iro Patissiere. 

They both involve going to a cooking school and participating in cooking battles 

Both anime are about food competitions that have judges for food tasting with reactions to every food that they tasted. Both leads have a tsundere love interest.  

Both series revolve around food, specifically baked good and sweets. While both have a reverse harem cloaking theme, Bonjour focuses on the romance aspect more while Yumeiro focuses on the struggles of building character and skill. Each series is light-hearted, colourful, and appealing to the eyes [and stomach].  

Both story are very alike, for one they follow a girl who goes to an elite school to reach her dream of opening her very own pastry shop and becoming a patisserie. The girl are surrounded by 4 guys in both anime as well! Enough said. 

Main characters are both a young girl and attend a patisserie school.They're also both surrounded by 4 good-looking guys with specialist fields within the art of dessert-making. So, there are many connections to be made between the two.

Both shows are about baking & Both are reverse harem. Only difference is, Yumeiro Patissiere's Episodes are 20+ Mins each whereas Bonjour Koiaji Patisserie Episodes are only 5-6 Mins each 

Cooking. Sweets. Hot guys. Romance. You can find these in both shows although Yumeiro Patisserie is quite longer in terms of episodes and content. 

Both of the series are about a girl trying to realize her dream, and both include magical beings helping her.

the art is really similar. I think i read somewhere that they were produced by the same company. they both have spirits who help them to reach their end goal. and their both incredibly cute and amazing animes. 

They both have cute chibis! And other people don't see these "spirits"... 

Both animes have fairies who goes into the human world to accomplish something. The fairies also have sweets/ingredients for names (i.e. Vanilla, Caramel etc. and Sugar, Cinnamon etc.) 

The two shows have two girls at about the same age have fairy companions that have names based loosely of of food spices and items (i.e. Sugar and Vanilla). Both shows are intended for a child audience, however they are still adorable to watch regardless of age. If you found one enjoyable, the other will most likely appeal to you as well  

Both anime is based on baking. Yakitate!! Japan is focused on different kinds of breads while Yumeiro Patissiere is focused on different kinds of Sweets. 

If you enjoyed the light heartedness of Yakitate!! Japan and the cooking, then you have a good chance of enjoying Yumeiro Patissiere. Whilst it is about sweets rather than bread, there's still a lot of competitions. Both protagonists are a bit off compared to normal people, but both have rare talent. One difference between the two is that the protagonist in Yumeiro Patissiere is a girl, and that the series focuses more on the team than just her. 

If you like dram, romance, and magic, then you will definitely enjoy both of these series. Here's more reasons why: - both cute girls doing things they want to do. - both mixed in with comedy and later romance - both series contain tsundere-like main characters (this case, the guy rather than the main girl) - both the protagonists strives to learn and accomplish throughout the series - both series have fantasy like elements  

Both consist a cute and innocent girl as the main character, and that boy who is mean to her at first but eventually warms up to her, and in the end falls in love. They are both also sooo amazing if you don't mind the fact that there are many episodes (roughly 60 eps) A must-see for any shoujo lover! 

Both series are similar in their concepts of fairies and sweets; both protagonists are young girls who try their best and show others what they are capable of, earning the respect of others with their skill, kindness and humility. They also coincide in having a reverse harem. 

Both "Yumeirro Patissiere" and "Antique Bakery" deal with one's love of sweets and the importance of friendship. While "Yumeiro" follows a team of would-be patissiers as they become more proficient at baking and better people for having met one another, "Antique" is about a man trying to cope with a traumatic experience from his childhood. 

It has a harem feel to it as well. In Yumerio there's 3 boys and 1 girl. In Ouran there's more but it's the same thing. The girl ends up with one of the boys in the end. (If you want to know for Yumeiro, you have to watch the second season but from the first it's pretty obvious who she'll end up with.) Comedy in both and both girl protagonists are determined, hard workers. Enjoy~ 

Both have fairy charas that partners another human.  

Very similar main character but I love how in the Yumerio Patissiere, it plays on how she is able to get through things by hard work. Both of them are cute, but Itazura na Kiss plays more towards romance and Yumerio Patissiere plays more to towards values.  

Both have sweet and funny characters that will make you laugh, also both anime have a bit of romance in them. 

Yumeiro Patissiere is another title that comes to mind when you see these characters. Both main girls are in that innocent, naive mindset and enjoy sporting cute pigtails. Their leading love interests are more in line with one another, more open to their girls and nicer . . . well, Kashino is nice some of the time. These are more along the slice of life, idealistic shoujo than some I've seen. Colorful and youthful, with more romance implied as their slice of life journeys go on. This is a good anime if you want less magical themed than something like Gakuen Alice, with only a tinge of magical atmosphere compared to the premise of the overall anime. This is a great second choice for someone seeking an anime to see or read after 12-sai. read more
