This is like watching ants cross a sidewalk. Not exciting, not pushing any boundaries just like ants, uniform. The only interesting part of it all is the family being on board with the isekai trope instantly, besides that i just felt like i could be watching almost anything else. My plan to watch list is getting too long to give this attention. Cant think of a single strength it has. Animation is average, story is average, characters average. Its only flaw is its just, average. Its funny how all the reincarnated as a villain shows end up being heroins to the end. Feel like i ... gotta watch some that pushes boundaries and causes forum and social media uproar to balance this bland taste i have from watching this. Average af but i did give it the respect of watching halfway through. You almost got me isekai… almost… Now take this 5

They don’t want you till they can’t have you. Seeing them skip the entire he loves the girl and pesters her with love in the first scene really helped get through this show and i messed around and sped through it in 24 hours after getting disappointed with another weekly anime i was watching.

The show checks all the boxes npc mc who fawns over the girl check, tsundere female lead check, shy quiet book girl check, out of nowhere competition for the female lead check, bully older sister check, hot student counsel check. Not reinventing the wheel at all.

Great how once you stop chasing that ... moby dick you see there are other fish in the sea. Literally as soon as he stop the stalking fmc the girls flock to him and all he is doing is being a sensible person. His friends sister was a thirst trap, the student counsel (moral and discipline really but same s##t) was just plain, and the book girl got a hard skip, but we knew it was all for the sake of becoming better for the fmc tsundere.

Honestly stick to your guns of staying away from her till she asks you out king. Great example of being toxic hard to get but in the male side. City boys winning lol

Blue tease is the king of made you look. You see progress in feelings then it goes back to were just friends. I get romance anime is the drawn out will they wont they but we all know they will eventually but watching this it leaves me thinking “eventually…. Right?”

25 episodes i dont expect them to completely fall in love if another season is expected to drop but every side character just seems more interesting. I will say that i like how they kept the sports aspect of it real in terms of just cause you want to win real bad doesnt mean you will, ... even with love. Once the tournaments and competitions are behind us though when we focus on just the who will he choose aspect of the show i couldnt help but feel like he shoulda just chose hina in the end. Try it let it not work out then move on. But nooo, the only person you can be honest with about your feelings is the best girl, yeah pack it up buddy.

Im not even inspired to read the manga to see how it ends because i can guess it. He will eventually work up the nerve to ask her out, she agrees and they date, cool. Hina and glasses learn they have feelings for eachother they date, cool. He eventually wins nationals im guessing beating the guy who beat him earlier or his senpai, she wins basketball championship and they happily ever after. Not spoilers just shots in the dark. If i just completely whiff on all my guesses tell me and ill read it, other than that just save the anime budget and move on. No hate to the author animation or sound just like my 6 rating everything was fine. On to the next romance.

Whenever i hear my roommate laughing at the show saying its the best and peak i put on my hater hat and go put him in his place. I really like every other character besides the mc. The VA sounds like he is talking through the office water tank whether its dubbed or sub. Like the va did the lines over the phone. Me and some friends watched the first episode together and enjoyed it then every following episode seemed to fall flat in my opinion. Lately im just putting the show on in the background while cleaning. Not bad not great just average. I ... get its like a funny john wick but im confused cus i love comedy and love john wick but cant say i love this show. Its just like the intro just average. After so many back to back hyped up titles that usually hit stemming back to chainsaw man leading to dandadan they finally missed with this one in my opinion. So whenever i hear my friends hype it up i put my hater hat back on and get back into the sport. Not review bombing just not for me. But hey whether i give it undivided attention or 40% a view is a view.

I love my shonen i love my isekai, but every once in a while i want to reset my young male brain with romance and hit the “it should have been me” yugioh meme. The one thing i never liked about the genre tho is the slow will they won’t they (of course they will) slow burn aspect of it. 100 girlfriend throws that out the window and does the complete opposite. Tense first kiss? Nah erbody get one. Struggling to say i like you? Nah they admit love just from first sight. Jealousy? Nah erbody love eachother. It’s like they tackled the harem concept ... on easy mode. I love my violence and aura farmer main characters cus they are like self insert fantasies but dammit nobody could begin to imagine to be rentero. People would say i could never imagine 100 girlfriends but my guy rentero could get that and show them all love. Its not perfect but i haven’t seen another romcom that’s actually as funny as this. I never push it to friends who love punch punch new super move anime but soon as they say they want a new you’re off show i will always push this. For my romance anime it’s in my top 3. And i realize 100 gf’s could never be me lol Hakari best girl btw

This feels like we only got 90% of an anime. Same feeling from season 1 to season 2. Its like they storyboard the full episode and someone spilled coffee over a few frames and they just decided not to redo it.

Animation looks good but it seems like the director just cant put scenes together that help the anime transition seamlessly between each other. Its like and then, and then, oh and then, then outro. I get you cant animate every scene but some stuff that is cut is kind of necessary. No need to rush through plot points without context. Heck I love violence but ... feel like the anime could do better with less magic fights and play to its strengths of Oscar and Tinasha.

First season Oscar was thirsty for Tinasha, second season its reversed. I get the timeline changing is supposed to be a plot point but hopefully this weird new relationship dynamic works out. Mixed feelings but ill stick around. Only quitters drop anime once you pass ep.3
