Similar supernatural elements, psychic powers, comedy and a bit of romance

- They're both batshit crazy, random, unhinged and unpredictable. - They contain a lot of lewd humour. - They feature Urban Fantasy. - The MC turns into a demon. - None of the characters are right in the head. - They're after a certain object. - They have great production and creative direction.

Weird Humour, great animation, similar dialogue/writing

This series, as well as Flip Flappers, have the same uncanny fever dream feeling. With this I mean the insanity concept of bisarre things happening. Though Wonder Egg Priority have a heavier story plot to Dandadan's with its comedy relief.

Students battling otherworldy/spiritual monsters Normal population doesn't believe or see the monsters Gaining the ability to see and interact with stuff from this other world Main character is cursed by a demon Great animation Jujutsu kaisen has a much larger cast of characters and is edgy, Dandadan is focused more on a smaller group and is more comical

Both shows have groups of students working together to face supernatural threats

Similar, crazy and unique vibe with fun, colorful art style. Also good amount of fighting and comedy. Plus hot ecchi grandmas lol

• Produced by same studio ( Science SARU) so you will find similar aesthetic in art and animation in both the anime. • Both are R-rated series so it's better not to watch togather with family. • Main protagonist gets possessed by ghost aka. Devil and become overpower. • If you enjoy fast pace action heavy anime I will insist you to check out either of them.

weird addiction to the male characters’ balls Sarazanmai gets a lot more crazier with it, seriously (embrace yourself to see some pegging, birthing)

both have another dimension and spirit creatures inside those dimensions that have backstories, both have characters that gain some kind of curse or power from the creature that end up helping them out, both have two characters that dislike each other at first but quickly become close, both have a character where they can see and feel things from the other dimension using a power, both have similar creature designs

Dandadan and gintama share similarities like their characters (who both are offbeat and really funny), the stories both have comic episodes and very moving episodes.

Similar weird vibes, fusion of all genres, parody of other animes and filled with multiple references from other animes.

Both shows deal with supernatural/occult-based phenomenon. In Bakemonogatari, there are "apparitions" and in Dandadan, there are Yokai and Aliens. Both shows have many comedic moments - most of which are dialogue-driven, but also have their fair share of serious and even emotional moments. Both shows also have a "quirky" style of animation, although Dandadan's is much better.

Extra terrestrial and unordinary things are shown in these two animes but it doesn’t stop there. They also show how to beat those phenomenon (such as: ghosts, evil spirits) Dandadan shows how two classmates team up to prove their own occult beliefs to each other and starts uncovering more mysteries. The same happens in Dark Gathering, where they face the unordinary. Despite having same setup, Dandadan has more friendly approach and shows comedy on the other hand Dark Gathering is more of a horror and dark settings - having much less comedy

Both having to relate with the supernatural (specifically ghosts with TBHK) Both also have really beautiful art <3

Both series are centered to the main girl protagonist who is an esper. While Dandadan is mixed with rom-com element and a male co-protagonist, Mieruko-chan has a moe-CGDCT slice of life tune. Anyway both Dandadan and Mieruko-chan deal with many kinds of ghost and supernatural horror things.

These are two of the few action/fantasy anime that cater to both the shounen and the shoujo audience. The mix of romance and action that's birthed from having a male and female couple leading the story is almost unique in shounen anime. They also deal with similar types of villains in the form of spirits and the chemistry between the cast outside of the leads are also full of warm vibes. Ken and Rokurou also happen to have the same voice actor, Hanae Natsuki.

Flip Flappers (as well as Wonder Egg Priority) have the same uncanny fever dream feeling, except Dandadan is more explicit in comparsion. In all three a lot of bisarre incidents takes place and make you question the characters reality several times.

Both have supernatural monsters and duo protagonists (one badass female w/ similar personalities and one male).

Similar settings of paranormal, romance and action. It would be unfair to compare the two in terms of execution given DanDaDan popularity and good performance even before solely as a manga on Shounen Jump, nevertheless, Kyoani is a well known studio with uphold reputation in terms of visual quality and smooth animation. You may give it a try, just don't expect too much from Kyoukai's comedy, if you are looking for a similar level of goofiness you may want to check 4Komas adaptations on MAL.

-Similar in terms of destroying these so-called "evil demons", but then exposes the tragic life they had before becoming a monster. They explore how not every villian was born a villian -Lots of action, shounen anime

Both protagonist duos meet each other by having a near-death experience and now they're both forced to be together. There's also action and aliens so you might enjoy the other series.

If you liked DDD's ghosts and aliens, you may like Zom 100's zombies. Both are wacky and fun.
