Gintama is less action focused and episodic compared to Dandadan. Gintama has both comedy and "serious" arcs while Dandadan is more fast paced. If you enjoyed the comedy parts of Dandadan then I highly recommend Gintama!

Dandadan and gintama share similarities like their characters (who both are offbeat and really funny), the stories both have comic episodes and very moving episodes.
