Synopsis

Following the faceless god Hitogami's advice seems to have worked wonders for Rudeus Greyrat. After enrolling into the University of Magic as he was told, Rudeus reunites with his childhood friend Sylphiette, who put a valiant effort into curing his condition. The two grow ever closer together and decide to host a wedding party, inviting the friends they have made over the years to announce and formalize their relationship.

For all his recent blessings, however, Rudeus' troubles are far from over. The research he is helping Shizuka Nanahoshi conduct hits a bottleneck, sending her into a deep slump much like he experienced in his previous life. Furthermore, a letter from his father, Paul, brings complications to Rudeus' relationships, and Sylphiette still knows next to nothing about his real background. In the face of these issues, Rudeus will have to apply the lessons he has learned in this new world to navigate through the challenges that come with living a life to its fullest.

(Very light spoilers)

I cant decide if this anime is one of the best or one of the worst I've ever watched.

all in all I highly recommend season 1 but I do see a notable dip in quality around the end of part 1 of season 2 but I think this mostly has to do with the stories whiplash shift in presentation and theme. The story really seems to shift quiet quickly from a story about anxiety and taking the steps to become a better person to generic mind numbing Iseki fantasy romance plot back into debating the positives of polygamy, it is certainly quite ...

Mixed Feelings
No Hate....But can't these animes just follow the concept of adventuring with friends & family? instead of going into Harem.

I didn't disliked this anime but neither liked it. Story started very well until the end of 2nd season. I really liked the trio of Ruijirad, Rudeus & Eris. Loved the scene where Rudeus was revived after Dragon God killed him. Why did they have to destroy the story after that? It could have been a lot of better if they continue together like friends meet with Rudeus family & Sylphie and adventured together. Like why do 16 year old have to get married?

I would really ...

The first season was actually decent, fantastic even...

But since then, the series has devolved into this isekai/harem mess with way too many story lines and characters crammed into one anime. Some people might prefer this and there's nothing wrong with it, however every "good" anime or should I say script, always has a "main story" or an objective which the series has to follow. This particular anime does not seem to have such an objective while also not being the random comedy show you watch and not care about it (the story). So you have to be very invested to keep up with this nonsense. ...
