Both anime feature a girl getting Isekaid, and using her knowledge and technology from the previous (earth) life in order to make money in the new world. Difference is that in Bookworm Myne is permanentely Isekaid, while in 80k gold Mitsuha didn't die and can jump back and forth between worlds.

Two fantasy isekai's where the MC make it their best interests to obtain a certain something taking different steps so that they can live in peace but also make a mark on themselves into the lives of others. There is an array of different characters they come across and help them out and also having knowledge to their life on Earth, within certain scenarios they get themselves into, they resolve it in a very cunning manner with strategic planning. They also bring Japanese stuff into the isekai world too. Main difference is that in Roukin, Mitsuha can actually transport from the isekai to Earth and back whereas in  read more

I couldn't help feel that both shows bare so much similarities with each other. Both revolve around moving between both worlds where the fantasy world gets introduced to modern time technologies in a matter of transactional and aristocratic and political benefit between both worlds. Roukin has a more lighter and comedic approach to these underlying themes, whereas Gate has significantly more in-depth explorations of the implications of diplomacy between both worlds.

Both of the mc's open a shop (though for different reasons) Lightheared and you can watch this if you're not looking for something over the top and action packed (There is some action but it helps the anime become better overall) The characters depth in both animes go well together (I could see them being friends if they were in the same universe) (i could be biased) If you enjoyed one of these you might end up liking the other one!

Both main character comes to new world an introduces the world to new earth items. Both have a focus on food. But Retirement is more than just food and does a lot of talk about nobles. Campfire is focused more on creating delicious food.

Both of them are isekais with no much of a plot and they did't come here in order to show us something great. They are funny and have good main characters and are very easy to watch. Take a look :)

Both involve the MC being transported into another world. Both set up shops in another world while introducing technology and ideology that is unheard of in their current world. As a result, they end up gathering a lot of unwanted attention

Both main character comes to new world an introduces the world to new earth items. Retirement has a focus on everyday things whereas Pharmacy focuses on medicine. They both deal a lot with royalty and noble society

Similar concept, but the MC has the power to hop between worlds. She buys things in the new era, and sells them in the other world, which is much older. Has access to anything from the new world as well.

Both isekai series feature OP female protagonists who use their powers to try to create comfortable lives for themselves in different ways, even as their increasing connections find themselves involved in more complex situations (although Mitsuha leans into the chaos moreso than Azusa).
