Kaoru is basically Mitsuha minus teleportation plus potion making; Their personality is basically the same save for very few differences and preferences, and if you enjoy one, you'll DEFINITELY enjoy the other. They're creations from the same author, who consistently likes the same tropes for all his other works, so there's that too.
