Both have Vampire female leads, and both female leads are not what they appear to be at first. They are also both rather humorous and set around schools. R+V is more of a harem compared with Karin being more about Karin's journey through her oddity and finding love and acceptance.

Seeing how these animes are both contain vampire, the theme of the animes is to break down the wall between humans and vampires. Both animes also involves school life and daily activities. There is some comedy and love interest involved in both animes so if you like Karin, you will like Vampire Knight...

Both of these anime deals with the supernatural. The two female protagonist are both vampires with similar unvampire traits. Both anime are similar with other genres as well, like comedy & romance.

Both series are about a type of vampire and this girl has a strange feeling when she first met the transfer student..So these series have much in common at the beginning. Both series have the same atmosphere.

Those two animes have a similar feeling with them and can give you loud laughs at times. In Karin the story is better and more complicated, though.

it gives you the same happy and sometimes serious feel to it. it is funny and sad at some parts( not quite as sad as fruits basket ) and leaves you with a good feeling

Both are romantic comedy about vampires (and other creatures in "jitsu wa") set in school. The protagonist learns a secret about true identity of a certain girl and then all kinds of crazy stuff happens. Both anime have romance but in Karin romantic relationships is more complete and satisfying

Both are school based romantic comedys. Both have supernatural themes. Both involve a secret that the characters must keep to themselves.

Both lead male characters are very similar, strange eyes, works hard, and lives alone with their 'young' mother who has family issues. Both share a similar sense of humour and both have characters who need to go through trials and tribulations befor ethe end of the series.

Few characters are really similiar. For example, Sumire is very alike Karin, the both are different from other people because of their abilities, they are clumsy, but good girls - sometimes both loose control over their powers (Sumire at the beginning and Karing at the end). Also the two doll sisters from V vs V, Laila and Laura remind me of Anju, both in apperance (young lolita girls), Laila in behaviour (she's not talking much).

* Both have strange or as I would like to call them "unique" female leads * Both male leads kinda take the supportive.. helpful role towards the female lead. * Both are in a school setting * Both are romance themed More similarities to come ( episode 1 was just released =P )

It's very similar, living in a big manor the main character meets a guy and they spent time together having problems with night creatures.

Both these animes are based around comedy and ecchi both revolve around a normal guy meeting a non human being karin being a vampire and rurumo being a witch both animes contain similar art styles both characters (rurmo and karin) try to fit into a everyday normal human life personally when i first saw majimoji rurumo it automatically reminded me of karin with the similar characters used and the comedy both animes portrays

• Both Take Place In A School • Both ROM/COM • Both Female Leads Have A Secret • Male Lead Has To Keep Her Secret

- They just gives you similar vibes. - Both female leads are just sooooo cute. - They both are considered as comedy. Although reason behind this is different, In case of Karin its about "awkwardness" and in case of Seto no Hanayome it is simply a comedy with touch of parody - They both have inter-species but "Kawai" romance. *Spoiler Alert* ( I Guess so,,, ) - Last few episode will make you cry, and then at the very end you will enjoy a moment filled with love. Last but not the least - They both have dominating Mother-in-law.

They both have an impossible love, because their families oppose to it.

These anime lift your mood really well with their light humor, innocence, and overall fantastic stories.

Great comedy shows loaded with slapstick humor, overly ridiculous jokes, "magic", etc. Though FMP! is only half-comedy, you're bound to like the action, and while Karin seems like it has a stupid premise, it's actually quite clever.

Both anime are rather lighhearted high school comedy romances, that does not rely on ecchi elements for popularity, though Karin (unlike Kimi ni Todoke) have fantasy setting.

Both anime are high school romance comedies, though with somewhat diffrent setting - Lovely Complex is firmly slice of life, while Karin is fantasy/supernatural.

Both series contain: unusual vampires, human and vampire relationship and humor. In "Karin" theres a female vampire struggling with her feeling to a human boy. Wile in "Master Mosquiton" theres male vampire torn with feeling between two human girls one from the past and one from the present. "Master Mosquiton" have more action and adventures than "Karin".

Karin and Ichigo are really, really alike... They act and look the same. Ichigo tries to hide the fact that she is a heroine and Karin tries to hide that she is a "vampire", that plot is the same for both anime. If you like Karin as a character you should see Tokyo Mew Mew as well!

Similarities: Both about a vampire girl going to a human school and falling in love with a human boy while hiding monster powers. Differences: Karin has a blood lust to bite people due feelings of unhappiness while Renze bites objects and transforms into to them she also is a werewolf and has those powers as well. When it comes to romance Karin has a friendship with Usui and then feelings of love grow while Renze has a crush on Shun while he rejects her at first his feelings change. Tokimeki Tonight is a romantic slap stick comedy while Karin is a romantic comedy with  read more

These two animes are similar in the sense that they are both about vampires and vampiric activity. However, Tsukihime has a dark storyline, whereas Karin is a lighthearted romance comedy which has vampires and vampiric activities which are quite different to the usual image of vampires and darkness.

very similar feel to both show, an overall romantic ecchi comedy but with strong dark undertones.
