Jigokuraku

Both protagonist seems to have barely "nothing to lose" and both accepts an offer that can't be refused if they want to live, an offer presented by a strong but kind-manipulative female figure. The setting though is really different since chainsaw man is in a modern world and Jigokuraku in a Edo samurai old scenario. 

Both are fantastic adaptations by MAPPA. Both are grimdark with no plot armor. Excellent writing, pacing and gorgeous animation. Both are fantasy battle series with demonic terrifying monsters. Both are deep series with excellent character development. If you love one, the other will be the perfect next watch. ❀ 

The same plot where it involve roque characters who find themselves drafted to work for some entity to fight one of their own. 

Similarities: The same character plot where special people found themselves drafted in to performing special task. The same situation where special guy is partnered with a female boss. Dissimilarities: One anime was set in some alternate world where demons roam and wreak havoc in the populace. The other one was set in early Japan shogunate where the characters were tasked to investigate a certain place, where danger lurks.  

-Both are dark-fantasy battle shounen manga animated by Mappa, with lot of fights, blood and emotive moments. -Kaku Yuji (Jigokuraku) was assistant of Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw Man) during 2016-2018, so his work is really influenced by Fujimoto's Style. -While in Chainsaw Man, humans use the power of the Pacts and Devils' Heart to counter the Devils, in Jigokuraku humans learn to use the power of TAO to counter the "Tensen". (Short words in both series the human protagonists fight fire with fire.)  

Both shows include a male protagonists at a low point in life who are willing to take dangerous and sketchy offers in order to survive. They are also both persuaded by seemingly sweet but manipulative female "boss" characters. Lots of blood and gore within the fight scenes. Both include monsters or otherwordly enemies. Character devlopment for many people is seen in both. The only major difference is that Chainsaw Man takes place in a very modern setting whereas Jigokuraku is a historical show. 

Jigokuraku ( Hell's Paradise ) and Chainsaw Man shares kind of same story line and the fight scenes are amazing . Characters also are same in nature just Gabimaru is Married xD... i would suggest you guys to watch it for sure  

Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen and Hell's Paradise are renowned for their grisly and gruesome themes, tackling serious issues with a gory approach. As a result, the three have been coined the "dark trio" of anime by the animanga community. 

Both animes is in a old setting-samurai era. Both have mystical powers, specialized in natural elements like fire. The visual effects are, somewhat, similar. 

Both Anime are very untypical Shounen and have same genre and theme. It does not simply revolve around being stronger and stronger, but have much more meaningful goals. A lot tragic moments in both. Hells paradise are philosophical manga and aren't simply black/white. Good/Evil are questioned throughout the whole series, the purpose of Life and similar themes. Both Mc have similar reason to fight -for beloved ones sake-, Tanjiro has the one only remain sister to protect and Gabimaru's wife waiting for his return. also protagonist duo had to defeat tough villains even have half-eternal lifes. There is also have super power source based on physical called Breathe at demon slayer and Tao at Hells paradise, and elemental attribute like Water, Fire, Earth, etc. read more 

Common features: Swordsmans, set in ancient Japon eras, dark fantasy, etc. 

Fantastical creatures (Demons) are fought against in enhanced Japanese fashion with brilliantly animated battles and a cohesive story. The only complaint you may find is that it's geared towards more mature audiences, but I find that better. 

The beautiful scenery of both of the anime settings hide how terrifying the alien-like nature of these worlds can be. Both the abyss and paradise have curses/poison that causes the loss of humanity and death. The worlds of both of these anime make you fear the unknown, but draw you in to discover the secrets behind the fantastical wilderness of their settings.  

Both had same types of demon concept and new world explore 

Both of these amines have a similar setting and mysterious world building. Hell's Paradise replaces the abyss with a mysterious island that has its origin shrouded in mystery. But Hell's paradise does not follow little kids as the protagonists, and adds some great fight scenes. If you are turned off by the disturbing scenes and weird fetishes of the author, I know I sure was, I'd go give Hell's Paradise a try. It is a better version of this

both feature a protagonist learning emotions and finding their purpose in life in a historical setting. both are also animated by MAPPA. 

Both of these anime are by MAPPA and the art style and tone are fairly similar. They are both about main characters who others see as monsters, on a quest to regain the things that are most important to them. Both stories are about the main character delving into a strange mystery to overcome obstacles.  

This is part of the "Shonen Dark Trio". It was animated very well. The story is amazing. Similar to Hell's Paradise, this series does not have characters with extreme plot armor. It doesn't mind killing characters off for the plot. It is a very well done series. 

Protagonist and a girl, singular motivation, insane fight scenes, mysteries and discovering what could be lies

Mysterious strange monsters and spiritual myth. 

Jigokuraku and Katanagatari are two stories set in a historical Japanese setting and revolving around a central quest: exploring a bizarre island in search of an elixir of immortality for the former and retrieving twelve legendary swords with unique abilities for the latter. They feature intense battles featuring swordplay, ninjas and supernatural elements. They have diverse characters with each with their own distinct motivations and backgrounds. What differentiates them the most would be that Jigokuraku focuses on action and survival while Katanagatari, being adapted from a novel, focuses on character relationships and dialogue. The former also has a darker atmosphere overall. 

Both of them have a death game in the island.
