Since childhood, Elaina has always been fascinated by the stories written within her favorite book, especially those about Nike, a renowned witch who had numerous great travels across the world. Wanting to experience the awe of adventure herself, Elaina strives to become a witch, and despite the numerous trials that come her way, she eventually succeeds.

Now a full-fledged witch, Elaina finally embarks on her long-awaited journey, in which she meets many people along the way, learning their various stories. Through all of this, she explores the world at its fullest—experiencing both its bright and dark sides—starting her legendary tale.

Now,some of you may not like it.But watching it made me realize,how much I want a life like her.✨

Many people tend to say, Elaina is a selfish protagonist.But I understood her reasoning,maybe that's why I like her so much.

Her life is a series of introductions and goodbyes,so she can't her pour her heart to only one person or one place.That way, she can ignore lingering feelings and move on.
Some people may find it selfish but in this cruel world,it's the only way to save yourself..especially those of us who are traveling alone in this journey called 'Life'.

Whether they make a season 2 or not..it depends ... on hype I guess.
But I know how enjoyed the show and my beloved MC's journeys as the curtain was closing..❤️

Mixed Feelings

I'm not quite sure who the audience for this show was meant to be.

If you like cute stories about girls adorably bumbling through life and growing up along the way, you will find parts of it excessively dark and unsettling. If you prefer darker themes, for the most part, you will find the story boring and the characters annoying.

I do not think all of the episodes are in chronological order, either, so sometimes the main character will say she is eighteen, and then later in the series say that she is seventeen. But it isn't too confusing aside from that, as most of the episodes ... have their own story to tell.

The animation is really pleasant. I liked it a lot. The music was fun.

I would recommend this show if you're looking for something to watch around Halloween, and you aren't too picky about what.

🌟 Protagonist 🌟
Elaina, is one of the most unlikable protagonists. Yes she is written to be realitic or whatever, She isn't this morally right character that goes out of their way to make things right, and there is no problem with that.. but there’s zero character growth or depth throughout the story. Like, she literally watches people suffer or die AND SHE CAN EASILY HELP but she just chose not to for no reason or maybe its because “it’s not her problem.” She doesn't feel remorse or sympathy for the choices she makes nor learns from her mistakes.. 😐 It’s really hard to vibe with ... her when she’s so detached from the world around her. She lacks empathy.. which makes her feel less like a relatable human and more like a walking plot device. Honestly, she’s got no personality at all. Some people might argue this stupid shit, "She doesn’t have to be a morally right hero, Not every mc needs to be." YES.. And think about it for a second, Imagine a doctor sees someone dying, has the ability to save them, but chooses not to. That makes them a BAD PERSON, SIMPLE. yes its okay to have a morally grey character.. but elaina isn't morally grey she's downright a bad person, and there is no reason for it too.

📜 Story 🖋️
There is none, To be fair.. Its about the travels of a which.. So i guess you can use that as a "story"? but its hindered by the random episodic structure that lacks narrative cohesion, Even tho i liked it! since i you go to an episode not knowing what to expect this time. There's shallow exploration of themes, and a passive protagonist whose indifference to impactful events who refuses to have any sort of character developement nor feel any remorse for her action (including letting innocent suffer OR SOMETIMES DIE just because she didn't feel like saving them despite HAVING the ability to do so.), sometimes she does but its only for the money. All This makes the plot feel aimless and emotionally disconnected.)

🌍 World Building ✏️
The world-building is practically non-existent. The locations are so fragmented and unconnected that it feels like flipping through random postcards instead of exploring a real world. Magic? Society? Culture? None of it is explained or tied together in a way that makes sense—it’s just there when the plot needs it. And don’t even get me started on consequences; heavy stuff happens, but the show just shrugs and moves on like it never mattered. Doesn't have any long lasting effect and is rather there just for shock value. Combine that with a protagonist who couldn’t care less, and the world feels shallow and lifeless, saved only by its good visuals.

👥 Characters 👥
Most of them are one-dimentional, forgettable plot devices who exist just because.. or to push Elaina’s journey forward i guess. There’s no depth, no compelling backstories aside from maybe one? i dont fucking remember despite finishing this show yesterday, no real connections, just people who pop in for an episode, drop their drama, and vanish. Even Elaina herself doesn’t grow from these encounters, learn or care, Why should we? which makes the interactions feel hollow. It’s like the show doesn’t care about its own characters, so why should we?  OH YEAH. it’s almost comical how every male character is either completely useless, or just plain pathetic. 😑 They’re either random background extras, villains with no depth, or walking cautionary tales who need saving (but not by Elaina, because she doesn’t do that). The show seems to go out of its way to make men irrelevant or incompetent, which not only feels forced but also unbalances the dynamics of the world. It’s like they exist just to make Elaina and other female characters look better, which comes off as lazy storytelling rather than meaningful character development.

The only reason i completed this show was because for its visual aesthetics, music and sounds. And beacause i though maybe she'll learn and change a little.. but NOPE, I WASTED MY TIME.

Not recommended, I only gave it 4/10 for its aesthetics.. Which is the only thing that holds this show together really.
