This is not an analysis but rather a quick run through the anime while trying to not spoil anything, of course attack on titan isn't perfect or that great, and for me it is something special and a dear to my heart and this review is just my personal opinions and reasons why i loved and watched attack on titan and why i think you should do the same.
Story: 9/10
Attack on Titan have an interesting setting, Humans live inside GIANT walls that are made to protect them from giant human eating Titans, these creatures only eat humans and nothing else despite not needing to eat
...
at all, they don't know where they came from or why are there so many of them.
Eren, The main protagonist wishes to get outside of the walls one day and see the actual world, Things like sea and desert aren't a thing inside the walls and he never saw such things except in a book of a friend. In order to get outside of the walls he needs to be a soldier and enter the survey corps who venture to the outside world beyond the world and kill titans and try discover new things about the world they live in since they still don't know a lot of things such as how were the walls built in the first place and why are their no knowledge or information about life before the titans appeared.
The world-building is detailed, layered and connected. The story constantly reveals unexpected twists and mysteries that keep you guessing, With each episode and season you watch it answers more and more questions after leaving you in the dust for a while and this series is known for presenting or giving an idea or fact and sticking to it for a really long time just to reveal it was a lie or not a thing (but in a good well thought out way) and it makes you question whether you should believe in everything characters say, The foreshadowing is INSANE. While it sticks to some classic themes, the storytelling elevates them into something uniquely its own. Attack on Titan is really good at subverting expectations also, Its action is also packed and it was what got me and my brother into anime in the first place. It’s intense, unpredictable, engaging, and worth the hype.
Characters: 7.5/10
There isn't really i can say over here, Each one is different i guess. whether they’re loveable, frustrating, or tragic. Eren, the main protagonist, his goal is that of revenge on the titans and his wish for freedom and to see the outside world and it is what drive the story forward, he is the determination and spark of the group that keeps them pushing forward. Mommykasa-i mean Mikasa is the strength and shield of the group, while her obsession with eren can be annoying sometimes i still like how she is ready to go against all humans of it means protecting eren. Armin is the brain and heart of the group, and while i hate him a little bit he proven to be useful and needed on multiple occasions, i like how despite being a coward he still brave enough to push his cowardly thoughts aside and act right. The main cast shines and glow with their development and struggles, making you care deeply about them and sometimes relate to them.
Music & Sounds: 9.5/10
The soundtrack is insane. Every track fits PERFECTLY, whether it’s a fight scene, a tragic moment, or a big reveal. Hiroyuki Sawano ABSOLUTELY COOKED. Altho the sound design overall isn't that immersive The voice acting is ON point. They pull you into the world, some people may say that they scream a lot and well.. yes they do, i bet if you're limbs were ripped apart you'd also scream at the top of you're lungs. The openings and endings are good, It’s not the kind of music that sticks with you long after the credits roll but still remember-able. Even if action-packed anime isn’t your thing, the music alone is worth a listen, its just Beautiful GOD I LOVE IT.
Art & Animation: 8.5/10
Visually, Attack on Titan art style is good, It doesn't compare to that of demon slayer or any other aesthetically astonishing show, Its just good. The animation captures the raw chaos of battles and while the scale of the Titans can be messy and weird sometimes its didn't affect my enjoyment of the show. The backgrounds are BREATHTAKING. The character designs aren't really that unique or something new but its okay i guess.
Overall:
Attack on Titan is a wild ride, if you are into stories that are full of emotional highs and lows, intense action, and thought provoking themes, and unforgettable music GOD THE MUSIC. it’s a must watch.
I will give it a 10/10 because i really enjoyed watching it with my brother, making predictions and theories that were false most of the time was fun, keeping us with a lot of questions just to answer them later on, Attack on Titan is one of my all time favorite and will always be, It was a really fun watch.

🌟 Protagonist 🌟
Elaina, is one of the most unlikable protagonists. Yes she is written to be realitic or whatever, She isn't this morally right character that goes out of their way to make things right, and there is no problem with that.. but there’s zero character growth or depth throughout the story. Like, she literally watches people suffer or die AND SHE CAN EASILY HELP but she just chose not to for no reason or maybe its because “it’s not her problem.” She doesn't feel remorse or sympathy for the choices she makes nor learns from her mistakes.. 😐 It’s really hard to vibe with ... |
