Slice of life shows with a main cast of characters that work in the same cafe. Each character has their own unique gimmick, and we watch their day-to-day scenarios as their interact in funny or cute ways.

Guy living with catgirls that can be somehow confused about how the human world works sometimes. Both are mainly fanservice series, but while Nekopara has cute-centered fanservice, Asobi ni Iku yo has ecchi-centered fanservice.

Both anime have a cute and fun vibe. There are fantastic characters: Dragons and Girls with cat ears. In both series, the characters are cute, silly girls who help a man.

Protagonist running a pâtisserie picks up a "stray cat" girl and lets her stay with him.

A harem of obedient kemomimi girls doing cute things while wearing fetish outfits and making ASMR sounds. Wish fulfillment with fish-out-of-water comedy, weaponized moe, and mild sexualization.

Cute girls in a coffee shop setting. Better version of Nekopara since the girls' personalities are a bit more distinct and bubbly. Great OP/ED too

cute nekomimi characters!

Still haven't had your fill of catgirls? Nyanko Days focuses more on the owners than the catgirls themselves, but both series are packed with mindless cuteness that will make any catgirl-lover swoon.

all nekomimi fanatics should give the star of cottonland a shot. the film is an adaptation of one of the very first manga characters that we might now identify as a "catgirl". imo the more nichijou-kei/slice of life segments of the film would be enjoyable to nekopara fans bc they are just the cutest things ive ever seen! additionally, the star of cottonland is worthwhile viewing for anyone interested in the evolution of shoujo manga & anime. on the other hand, oldhead fans of the star of cottonland might enjoy this nekopara adaptation because it is certainly cute, and may be said to epitomize the state  read more

Cute cats doing cute catty things. Essentially, both delivers the same premise where apparently there is a parallel universe where cat-girls exists which do service for humans, one with the bathhouse while the other is with the café. Additionally, both shows have shoujo-ai undertones to it so for anyone who enjoys that kind of stuff will may find these entertaining as well.

Sisters. I suppose, I for one, cannot directly relate, but if I had to compile the features of what life was like for sisters (in a fictional perspective), Nekopara and Minami-ke would tell me that they are mostly made up of fun, joyful, and funny moments, because that is what the two anime are. With ramifying routes as Nekopara is set in a maid cafe with literal catgirls, compared to the fairly standard quality of life in Minami-ke, they both still know how to make for a good s.o.l type show, ticking off all the boxes in a relaxed atmosphere, funny moments, other characters doing stuff  read more

Cuteness. Really. That's all there is to it, just cgdct. One has humans that happen to really love their onii-chan, the other has nekomimi that happens to really love their master. I can't really touch on anything else, but the lucidity of the two should draw you in if you are a fan of the genre. They may not bring a lot, but one has nekomimi to love and the other is a fun short.

It occurred to me that both places are essentially paradises catering to quite extreme pleasures. You want catgirl maids? Nekopara. You want any and every prostitute imaginable? Interspecies. Go wild and have fun with your dreams.

My opinion is that they are both OK shows but maybe a tiny bit pervy. If ya like one, ya like the other
