Both shows draw heavy inspiration from Shakepeare's Romeo and Juliet while mixing in heavy fantasy elements and taking place (partially) on a floating island that somehow eventually becomes involved in the plot. The main difference seems to be how many episodes did each one get to tell the same story.

sorry if i am very bad tat writing recommendations. The plot is kind of like the same to Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka, and the "drama" also appears mostly at 1 to 2 last eps. The drawing is not bad, it's a little bit above decent. I don't know, watching this just makes me recall of the despair i had whist watching Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka.

Both show are very similar in the aspect of divided love. In each show the male and female protagonist are separated by some "societal divide". Whether that be another country or a another world, each protagonist loves the other, and is willing to do anything for them.
