Both anime are based on Adachi Mitsuru's works. This alone should tell everything you need to know. Same author, theme and similar characters but in a different set-up that makes it interesting to watch Mix as a new series and at the same time feel nostalgia for Cross Game and all of his previous works. If you have seen Cross Game and loved it, you will probably like Mix also.

Both are from the same author. If you watched one you'll feel right at home watching the other. Both stories feature 2 male leads and 2 female leads. But in Mix the main characters' relationships are like siblings whereas in H2 they're more like really good friends. They all have similar goals and relationships so these shows will feel pretty familiar. Like Mix Season 1, H2 is an incomplete adaptation of its source material. But Mix will get a Season 2 in 2023 whereas H2 only has a live-action adaptation that follows the manga from beginning to end.

If you watched Touch then you should watch Mix as the latter is an indirect sequel to the former. It's not just an alternative setting like it's said on MAL. If you watched Mix then it's a no-brainer to watch Touch since I think Touch is a lot better and not to mention also a finished work. Both series feature a brother dynamic with a female main character who's like a sister to them but also a potential love interest. Both take place in the same school but 30 years apart from each other. They have similar themes and characters and the same end goal  read more

Both tv series are about baseball! More similarities: - main character are stubborn and like to joke around - there are much more male characters than females - training and thinking about improvements - harsh coaches

Both of these sports anime are just as much about the characters' lives outside of a match, especially family relationships and a bit of romance. The main characters in both stories are heavily impacted by events in the past. The overall feelings of the two shows are a little different (Area no Kinshi leans heavily on the drama, while Mix is more laid-back) and of course they feature different sports. But while watching Mix I am frequently reminded of Area no Kinshi and it's worth checking out one if you liked the other.

Both are great baseball anime with the main focus around the battery. You can get really attached to the characters. So if you have enjoyed Ookiku you will probably like Mix as well.

While both being Adachi Mitsuru's works they also share the similarity of potential love interests living under the same roof. Hiatari Ryoukou is quite old but totally worth watching since the characters are great. Also both have baseball, of course.

Both shows are a continuation about the kids of a previous show's players, of-course both are about baseball. If you liked one of them then you might want to check the other series.
