As well as being made by the same company, Neo Angelique Abyss and ~Hachiyou Shou~ do have other things in common. Some similarities are that they are both reverse harem anime, one female lead with many male supporting characters and the themes of these anime are also similar. Neo Angelique is set in a slightly more modern time, and Harukanaru Toki no Naka de... is obviously 'land before time'. Both these series are fun to watch. 

it's about special girls that was chosen to be angels and followed by many handsome boy companions to save the world. 

Both are adapted from the Angelique series of games and thus, are both reverse harem. If you like one, you'll probably like the other. However, Neo Angelique is more serious and focused on action while Koisuru is focused on romance and comedy. 

Again, reverse harem anime. The only difference is that Neo Angelique has more action/fantasy 

Both are animated series with strong female leads who have their lives change by a strange turn of fate. Both female protagonists also have a special magical power, which becomes the reason for them getting involved. 

Angelique and Tohru both live in house surrounded by bishounen. Other similarities are that they are both oprhane and have the same disere of making people happy and protecting them. They care about others... Also Rayne and Kyo have the same attitude towards the protagonist at the begining and very similar personlatities. The two anime also have fantasy, althought Neo Angelique Abyss has more than Fruits Basket. 

Both animes have 'knights' or 'purifiers' with holy supernatural power that battle with demons and people know of the demons existence. They also share good graphic and bishounen characters. The differece is that Neo Angelique Abyss emphasizes on the main heroine and her thoughts and twists her somewhat ordinary life in adventures. While in Goular Knights all the main characters already know of their power. The series also have a similar reverse harem feeling, but in Goulart Knights the female heroine is just a kid, who is temporarely helped by the knights. 

they're both kind of reverse harem but with like no romantic interactions, just i think more of admiration i guess. neo Angelique abyss is on the darker side, with fighting and monsters while magic kyun is on the brighter side with bright colours and singing. but they are quite similar as they are both, what i would classify as reverse harem. 

the protagonist is also protected by a team of bishounens 

Reverse harem anime. Main heroine is the savior of the world. She meets her guardians who protect her. All fall in love with her.  

A shy, timid girl who is an orphan discovers special powers which allow them to save the world. Both series have protecters around this special girl. Both have betrayals/ reversal of sides (good to evil) 

Both series have a group of people with supernatural powers fighting monsters, and living in a big mansion together. The main character is a special person who must be protected at all cost. In both series there is an organization with different ideals opposing the main group, and the fate of the world is at stake. Not much romance in either series, but they do have handsome characters and occasional shiptease. 

Both series are reverse harem anime. Main female characters Kajika and Angelique share same seiyū. 

One girl surrounded with many gorgeous bishies!!! 

Another anime with a central female character who possesses unique magical powers and is protected by a large group of bishounen. 

The story plot issimilar in that the female protagonist is the key to saving the world. The genre is mainly fantasy, although there is humour and some romance in it. 

Both of these series are reverse harem series involving a girl with special powers helping a noble and his retainers. The concept of Noblesse Oblige is central to both series. They also both have a Victorian style setting and a cat mascot. 

Well, the first episode started on a school... there are lots of bishies trying to get to one girl. This girl, angelique, is quite dense. She wants to protect the orb hunters or those somewhat like guardians against those evil spawn... even though some of the bishies will risk their lives for her... she kinda like the lead girl here in ouran, haruhi, doesn't care bout herself only of other's well being... 

You might think there's nothing to tie these two series together, but there is one good reason - superficiality. Both series are made to cater to a feminine audience with bishonen fanservice. And frankly, Neo Angelique Abyss does eye candy better. It might not have cross-dressing boys, but it has a better animation budget. The bishonen in Angelique are a lot more attractive for a slash happy fangirl to pair up, and the plot is as negligible as it was in Princess Princess. There's no use in kidding ourselves, it's not the premise we care about for these shows- it's the bishonen eye candy. Neo Angelique Abyss more than delivers. read more

Both are under the Reverse Harem Genre. Yamato Nadeshiko is more on the comedic side while Neo Angelic Abyss focuses more on fighting and other unusual stuff.
