Yumeta Company (YUMETA CO., LTD.) is a Japanese animation studio based in Kiyose, Tokyo, Japan. Former Tama Production animator — Satoshi Yamaguchi — founded Yumeta Company as Shizuoka Animation Co., Ltd. on March 5, 1986. Following its establishment in October 1990, the studio changed its name to YUMETA CO., LTD. and became a subsidiary of TYO in January 2005 — alongside its other animation subsidiaries Hal Film Maker and later Doga Kobo. In July 2009, Yumeta Company absorbed Hal Film Maker to form TYO Animations Inc. Satoshi Yamaguchi and Katsunori Haruta — the representative directors at Yumeta Company and Hal Film Maker — were appointed as the representative directors of the new company. In December 2017, Memory Tech Holdings' Graphinica acquired the studio from TYO as a subsidiary and reverted its name to Yumeta Company.
