Both involve a high school protagonist and elementary school main heroine.

These two series are not only almost similar in their premise and characters, they are also adapted by the same studio, therefore, those who enjoyed the first show, definitely will like the second.

Both shows are about aspiring professional shogi players. However, the approaches to the show are much different as in March, the MC is trying to make it into the world of shogi after numerous setbacks in life, and in Ryuo the MC is already a champion in shogi and is teaching girls to become pros. Both have cute girls in it, though it is far more pronounced in Ryuo as they are the center of attention, while in March the girls are just emotional support for the MC. If you like Ryuo, then I highly recommend March, though the other way around  read more

They give of the same vibe as each other. The anime story telling is similar too. This is just based of one episode. But i believe Ryuuou will turn out to be very similar to Saki once we get to see more. So far i would recommend both if you like the one of them.

both tells a story about japanese traditional game in a competitive setting. with relatively light background and ironically light competition/rivalry. the characters are simple and no hidden plot behind.

The same loli relationship that involves older guy to very young girl, except in Ryyyou the guy was just slightly older than the girl or like a 7 years difference, while in Nobunaga there is a 15 year difference.

Both are ecchi comedies with a significant amount of the main heroines being of a problematic age. While Eromanga is ostensibly about a slightly older high school student writing novels with his younger sister illustrator, Ryuuou no Oshigoto is about an older male Shogi master taking on a younger female apprentice.

Similarities: -Both anime have cute lolis. -Both anime is all about a game. -Both anime have characters who are geniuses. Differences: -No Game No Life had blood related siblings while Ryuuou no Oshigoto! is a Master x Disciple positions. -No Game No Life uses Chess while Ryuuou no Oshigoto! contains Shogi. -No Game No Life had a character where she is being forced to fall in love to the MC while Ryuuou no Oshigoto! had a tsundere. -No Game No Life is Isekai while Ryuuou no Oshigoto is real life. -No Game No Life had siblings who are Antropophobic and NEETs while Ryuuou no Oshigoto! freely encounters people around them.

mc who has great talent but that talent must be suppressed due to the pressure that is experienced but there is a loli that makes that talent grow back (Be careful someone might break down your door!)

A more cheerful version of the former, as it deals with more lolis and with a (sometimes) serious slice of life approach to anime.

Comedical series centered around playing shogi. The series is focused on the game and includes a professional commentary through the eyes of commentator characters, so you can watch those even if you don't know the shogi rules. While Ryuuou no Oshigoto has lolis as a secondary focus, Shogi Hour has more absurd humor.

This anime focus on the world of go, another traditional game played in Japan with similar professional leagues, tournaments and titles.

Both are mainly about Shogi. Ryuuou no Oshigoto! is more comedy based with a male lead. Shion no Ou is more drama and mystery based with a female lead. Both are well worth watching!
