Recommendations

Both are short episodes with good laughs. If you like one you will like the other.
report Recommended by Ishtx
They are both comedies with a boy that just wants to live peacefully and an extremely extrovert girl who wants to hang out with him.
report Recommended by Kareit
Both Plastic Neesan and Aho Girl have an idiot girl as the main character, They both make jokes out of stupid things and make fun of other people around them being idiots, even though they are the idiots themselves.
report Recommended by dadnaya
Both series are episodic and revolve around a very loose plot. Here are some common, and best qualities of the two shows: Ugly-cute gag (applies to both characteristics and situational), light-hearted, and silly.
report Recommended by HiyokoChocobo
-Dumb girls doing dumb things -Both male MC's are hardcore advocates for gender equality -Thots getting dunked on
report Recommended by Hesternal
Both Tejina-senpai and Aho Girl are have stupid girl as main characters. And the comedy from both series are really similar especially about stupidity from main characters.
report Recommended by Blade-Fang-Kaori
Why did I recommend this when Saiki is a genius and Yoshiko is an idiot. Because everyone besides Saiki is completely clueless. Yoshiko's childhood friend is somehow similar to Saiki. Both anime have minimalistic art and many colors. Both are fun to watch.
report Recommended by Azzo67890
Both are based on 4-koma manga. Same kind of humor just less perverted than SYD.
report Recommended by Nickbk201
What makes these two shows similar is the scene between the characters. Both Main Male Mc's (Kenji and Akutsu) are living their lives surrounded by the foolish hijinks of the girls around them. Kenji plays a bigger role in dfrag, however both shows focus on comedy over the crazy events that happen to them, with more subtle hints of romance in dfrag.
report Recommended by RoninVV
Slapstick comedies starring immature, irrepressible, idiotic protagonists who cause havoc and misfortune to everyone they meet. Both series feature eclectic supporting casts who tend to either get sucked into the madness or reveal that they were mad all along. Both also feature terrifying moms.
report Recommended by q_3
Airhead and hyper energetic girl that tries to always be around the tsundere-ish main character that excels at tsukkomi.
report Recommended by abystoma2
it uses over-the-top humor and absurd situations to entertain the audience. The characters are quirky and lovable, and the animation is visually stunning.
report Recommended by FAKECROSS97
Both shows have "idiot heroes" as main protagonists, and the "straight man" or as the deuteragonists.
report Recommended by GiancarloLS
- Incredible humor - Both of them are very uplifting - Great VA cast - Main character voiced by Tomokazu Sugita
report Recommended by thebigbadlux
Both have the stupid main character trope, while baka to test goes to a much better side, please watch to see !!! :)
report Recommended by marrro90123
Both has that kind of one way romance where it has tsundere boy and persistence dere dere girl.......but in Aho girl tsundere boy has a harem , while in AtK tsundere boy is a loner and has a stalker kind of love to the dere dere girl.
report Recommended by Whoahoho
They both use the same plot device of having no real plot, rather they construct situations in which they put the characters like providing copious amounts alcohol to a tennis match or introducing the most beautiful dog to the most emotionally broken student and seeing the bitter sweet but hilarious healing of both parties. These shows are just beautiful in general.
report Recommended by JaydenC
Both animes have awkward situations. Such where you're too embarrassed to look, but if you do, you will laugh so hard your **** fall(s) off!
report Recommended by Thompson
Both about VERY unusual girls falling in love.
report Recommended by SadMeat
Both are comedy animes that rely on their main characters idiocy and serious secondary characters for comedic effects
report Recommended by drakenation
Kanojo mo Kanojo and Aho Girl share the same mangaka. The comedy is the same: a lot of yelling, dumb situations, and scenes going from 1 to 100. Both are creative and refreshing in their premise.
report Recommended by PecoTheHero
Similar interaction between a passionate, cheerful girl and an innocent, straight, and 'tough' guy in high schooler's totally (ab)normal everyday life.
report Recommended by demalion
Both have a dirty sense of humor, however Shimoneta takes it a few steps forward and raises the dirty sense of humor bar.
report Recommended by Fairy_Tail175
Yoshiko (Aho Girl) has a lot of similarities to Kana Minami (Minami-Ke), both are what we can call as "idiot hero" tropes.
report Recommended by GiancarloLS
If you like the comedy in Yuru Yuri, you might enjoy Aho Girl.
report Recommended by DarkYuzuko
Both are short (about 10 minutes per episode) slapstick romance school comedy, where main girl is heads over heels in love with main guy. Girls have similar hairstyles, both are a overexaggerating all the time and guy is either oblivious or uninterested.
report Recommended by Piromysl
ok the jokes of hitting the goddess or treating the goddess as baka is the very similar fashion with aho girl. both Mc have the same cold personality
report Recommended by gakuendo
Aharen-san and aho girl both are peak comedy but both of them pretty different and unique themselves. As per aho girl it's just as the name suggests it's all about stupid acts of an High school girl (aho) On the other hand aharen-san is more about awkwardness and comedy the dialogue and acts both is nicely done.if u like to watch comedy u should give these two a try.
report Recommended by Haru0004
Both have girls being retarded in funny ways

Both shows with absolutely 0 plot, they were both put on this earth as good comedic relief shows to watch.

Dumb and wholesome school. (Hello eberynyan. How are you? Fine Thank you. Omaiga - Meme sauce)

It's a moe comedy that if you enjoyed Blend-S you sure will enjoy this either!
report Recommended by Shirade
Noucome and Aho Girl are both have similar genres, which are School, Comedy, and Romance. Like Yoshiko in Aho Girl, our protagonist in Noucome makes decisions that make the protagonist look like an idiot, but at the same time the decisions are quite funny. The protagonists in both shows are also quite idiotic as well as cute.
report Recommended by G3usts
Both have slapstick where the airheaded female lead gets beat up by the male lead for being an idiot. Fight Ippatsu! Juuden-chan!! is more focused on ecchi, Aho Girl is more focused on pure comedy.
report Recommended by rollingbull
sol comedy in which a goofy strawberry blonde girl pesters a grumpy black-haired boy. aho girl's jokes are dirtier and less referential, but it's structurally similar and tonally identical to umaru overall. each have side characters that fit into the obsessive stalker/yandere archetype (fuuki and kirie) and mild mannered best friend archetype (sayaka and ebina). aho-girl lacks the variation in conflict that umaru's dual persona provides, but if you like this particular style of overexaggerated humor, both will scratch that itch.

The most dramatic romantic comedy between some high-school gamers
report Recommended by YuiNyanTecna
the feeling they give are similar both mc have to deal with woman that make their life more interesting both story are kind of similar in the sense that both mc are stuck in a relationship with girls completely opposite of them both mc are serious type

Some love stories with hilarious humor
report Recommended by YuiNyanTecna
these two animes are almost simliar, they are both slice of comedy filled with humour and the mc is a female protagonist, unlike other female characters they don't simp and bring out true sense of humour, definitely recommended
report Recommended by Naresh-dev
Dumb girls in love with the protagonist
report Recommended by YuiNyanTecna
Aho-Girl features a vacuous, vivacious girl whose clingy and often off the wall antics are constantly annoying her co-protagonist. Nokotan is a very similar character, with very similar antics to Yoshiko from Aho-girl, and Koshi plays a similar annoyed "straight man" roll as Akutsu from Aho-Girl.
report Recommended by HOOfan_1
Dumb school girls making music
report Recommended by YuiNyanTecna
A delusional school girl that falls in love with a guy who used to be delusional like her.
report Recommended by YuiNyanTecna
A Weeb, a clutz, a good student, a slacker ;)
report Recommended by YuiNyanTecna
Both female leads have a tendency to misunderstand social cues and only can think through the life of messing up other characters’ lives, even when they’re trying to help them through comedic fashion
report Recommended by albertbrown
Enjoy the great constant comedy of Aho Girl? Then Sabage-bu is just for you. Both shows have a repeat of their comedy but it never gets old. The same way Yoshiko is always getting beat up is just like Urara. Both Aho Girl and Sabage-bu will provide you with non stop comedy and enjoyment.
report Recommended by lovevillain
Love the never ending humor of Aho Girl? Then this show is right up your ally, with constant profane jokes the comedy never ends. Both shows are so stupid to the point that they are great.
report Recommended by lovevillain
Having to deal with an idiot friend/boyfriend, is not easy for the protagonists of these two series. Aho Girl and Kare Baka are anime about the everyday life of an idiot girl/boy, and most of the jokes revolve around that fact. They are both short anime and the comedy can be pretty similar and funny.
report Recommended by Melody
Both are short and very funny. Deal with school and friends.
report Recommended by Koloshow
The Main Heroine is like Yoshiko and the MC is always annoyed at her. Similar jokes and reasoning like in Aho Girl, Minus the supernatural.
report Recommended by jurielle56
No heavy plot, slice-of-life with comedy. Humor plays a big role in how characters are presented. Both anime have some focus on the relationship between the characters and how humor plays a big role in their interactions with each other. However, Aho Girl tends to have more slapstick humour.

Nodame Cantabile looks like a high-class drama. Glancing at the poster, one would not expect the violinist to hit the pianist with a frying pan... but that is exactly what he does. Multiple times. In both shows, the male lead is a violent tsundere who routinely hurls comedic physical and verbal abuse at a hopelessly lovestruck "idiot" girl, but the girl refuses to be dissuaded and leave him in peace. Her tenacity and charm quickly win viewers' hearts, though his is harder for her to reach. Unlike the acclaimed character-driven narrative of Nodame Cantabile, Aho Girl is a simple 4-koma gag show in which the situation  read more

Both series are slice-of-life anime and have a stupid and funny female protagonist.

Fun comedy and school, main character is annoying lol
report Recommended by bnyot
Having the most dumb/airhead can make a huge misunderstanding to pointed out in that she' not at fault, and figured it out that her methods are usually off-scale to stupidity. Both series can laugh you for good and burst your inner side into pure whackyness
report Recommended by -HippySnob-
I found a lot of fun in this comedy series. I hope that you would find also .
report Recommended by FahimFBA
Both have that sort of laid back comedy vibe, in a school setting. Although the MC's are a bit different, they are a bit similar as well. Good watches.
report Recommended by RefiningHeaven
Very very stupid, random and ecchi humour with a lot of characters with stupid personalities. Dokuro Chan is more extreme, but if you enjoy stupid, mindless humour, you will probably like the other.
report Recommended by Prizma10
These shows are surprisingly similar, putting aside the obvious differences. First of all, both shows' main character cast consist of a careless idiot and a studying-obsessed character and their group of friends. In Aho girl, Yoshiko is the stupid girl and A-kun is the serious guy, when in Kaibutsu-kun the genders are reversed with Shizuku being the latter and Haru being the delinquent. This second reason is a bit stupid, but Shizuku shares a similar hairstyle to that of Yoshiko's and so do the two boys. Although Kaibutsu-kun is more of a romcom and shoujo type of anime and AhoGirl is simply a pointless comedy, the characters' similar  read more

When it comes to breaking stereotypes, both OreTwi are perfect examples of this. Firstly, the MC doesn't get beat up by the typical tsundere role or when they are wrongfully accused of doing something lewd. In fact, it's the other way round. Instead of the MC getting beat up, the girl who started the lewdness does which is a rare gem in anime as the MC beatings are way too common. If you like OreTwi, then Aho Girl should be your next stop.

Lots of funny moments and they are not expected. Great anime to watch if you are sad or depressed or nothing to watch.
