Dark atmosphere and realistic animation. Both shows have a character that wants to do good, and the other who gets some powers and decides to kill others. Action, lots of deaths, blood and interesting story.  

Cat and mouse with some sort of non-human element to it (Inuyashiki has sci-fi meanwhile Death Note is more supernatural) and both of the main characters have opposing beliefs.

Both shows have a hero, and a villain who are the main characters. There is a long cat and mouse chase between these two, one with evil intentions and one with good intentions. Both series are really gripping, and make you want to watch 'till you drop. 

A battle of wits between two unorthodox character tropes that somehow resemble each other. One young teenager with deadly powers, no mercy and delusions of grandeur against a quirky, out of shape-y but extremely wise opponent, put in a thriller set in a modern world with the addition of some kind of supernatural powers and trinkets. 

Both deal with people gaining power in a modern setting

Both are dark and tense. They have a similar artstyle and cliffhangers often. The biggest similarity is that the protagonist and the antagonist are engaged in a cat-and-mouse game where one is a psychopathic killer and the other fights crime and wants to stop the murderer.  

Both shows follow similar paths focusing on 2 separate main characters representing both evil and good respectively. They both also deal with ideas such as the morality of killing/the killer  

The themes of protagonist (or antagonist?) vs the Police Force give off similar vibes.  

Both feature two main characters, one doing evil deeds and one trying to stop the former.  

Similar main characters with one obsessed with killing everyone and the other trying to prevent that.  

The evil protagonist is Light Yagami-like and is so good I recomended it 

The antagonist is a young boy. The young boy perfects his powers to combat the society he lives in. Ultimately, the hero is the destined man who can stop the evil intentions of the boy. If you're into one on one/ hero vs. villain type shows in the current age, then this show is fitting. 

Both characters wants to kill people and they kill people from distance. In both animes there is a guy who wants to stop the villain who kills people. 

inuyashiki is the small death note very good anime 

in both inuyashiki and death note, the characters have similar supernatural powers. very similar concept, a good side that's trying to stop the bad guy, and a bad side that's causing more trouble. the bad guy in inuyashiki literally looks like light from death note. they're extremely similar but very different at the same time. i highly recommend inuyashiki if you liked death note! 

-good and bad protagonist. -the villain can easily kill and is able to wage war on all humanity. -the felt chaos and that dark air. -Inuyashiki's villain gives off a Yagami Light vibe (from Death Note). as someone who loves Death Note, i am sure you'll like this too. 

Similar because both people are in the same situation, one is bad and the other is good trying to stop it. Also has good supporting characters and dives into each character's psychological side. 

Hiro is a dumber, more evil, but much more powerful version of Light. 

Both about main characters who undergo dramatic events early on that cause physical changes to their bodies that drastically alter their lifestyles. Both have the hero main characters face adversaries that have undergone the same change as them. 

Both main characters of these have something like a weapon inside of their bodies and struggle with how much of a human they are. 

Dark atmosphere, world full of cruel people, lots of gore, action, killing. Main character gets some super powers and goes through some rough changes in life.  

Beings of unknown origin give MCs superhuman abilities, consequently bringing human morals into question. 

It's not that similiar but I feel their is this kinda, same feeling into it, that kinda of, "battle" that generates of the human part of MC, that feeling of trying to protect their loved ones 

Both involves individuals who were pretty much living a normal life until one stroke of some strange circumstances, that they found themselves being completely different and have some very strange capabilities that no ordinary human can do.  

-If you think Tokyo Ghoul is the most similar anime to Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu? Think again! -Both get same “sorts” of powers, just one has a parasite and the other is turned into a killing machine. -both have main characters that act and think VERY similarly. -and much more, as for which one is better, I’d go for Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu, but Inuyashiki is very close.  

- normal rather ignored and restrained man gets in contact with aliens and thus he gets some new power - both involve murder series (because of the antagonists), but the antagonists aren't completely evil rather frustrated - opening with mostly english lyrics - good ost 

Both belong in the Seinen genre. Darker theme and atmosphere intended for mature audience. Both contain gore and violence. Psychological drama with emphasis on psychological element. 

Both are based on a huge change in the life of someone due to a superpower triggered by an alien. And both are very bloody.  

Aliens come to earth and modify an ordinary person with an ordinary life, making them superhuman. Both are action-packed and gory. A big theme in both involves the main character trying to keep his humanity and learn what makes one human despite superhuman changes. They are both very tense and fast paced as well, with cliffhangers each episode. 

These two animes present a very dark theme surrounded by death and destruction, with protagonists that change their way of acting after the occurrence of a specific event. Both protagonists try to do "good" in their own way. 

The first similarity between the shows is pretty obvious. Two human main characters have been altered by alien involvement, which has completely changed their lives. Each now have a lot more power and a lot more responsibility to handle. Both anime are willing to show the grittier side of action. Admittedly, Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu has a lot more blood and definitely pushes forward a tenser environment. That’s to say you’ll probably get scared more often while watching it. Even the faint of heart could probably get through most of Inuyashiki, even though Hiro’s presence will always have you on edge.  

Here me out here. They are similar in most cases. For instance, they are both about a somewhat "weak" protagonist that suddenly gains amazing superpowers,that only he can use, and must save the world. They both are the only individual capable of these superpowers, and both of them gain the power randomly. Both of them are extremely gory (inuyashiki being more gory), and are tragic. Generally, both of the, have a similar theme, also, just a side note, inuyashiki's op is fantastic.  

In both shows, the protagonist and antagonist(s( for parasyte)) have some super-human capacities, making them stronger. The two of them tell the story of the protagonist trying to save people and the ones he loves against the evil, who has no emotional reason to kill them. The artstyle is also similar and very realistic, although Inuyashiki makes use of CGI a lot to animate the machines. 

Both series feature protagonists who were changed through an alien event beyond their control. Both series explore the protagonists' struggle to grasp their humanity and try to cope with them in a cruel and unjust world. 

Both have main characters that are given superhuman powers by alien-like beings. Similar themes of humanity and good vs evil. Both have a lot of action and sci-fi elements.  

Humans get fused with other lifeforms and try to keep their sanity while fighting evil. If you’re into this concept as a Parasyte fan,then Inuyashiki is a must watch. 

- both a feature a protagonist who lives a normal and plain life until one day it all changes because of an alien - both protagonists gain some sort of super human ability which they have to learn to use and cooperate with - both feature the psychological aspects of trying to be a hero, surrounded by bad people, and what it means to be human (also have a lot of action and are gory) 

Both anime with terrorism as a core theme. Both explore humanity and morality, particularly showcasing those with questionable morals. 

Both have similar tone and feature terrorism from the antagonist's perspective. 

Both take a twist on the concept of Terrorism, with both having teenage.... characters. Neither have set protagonist or antagonists and really tug at the heart strings as you truly get to know the characters. 

Basically, both animes bring up moral questions, both are not apelative in any way and both have excellent script/general history development. Putting minor issues aside, if you enjoyed one, certainly will enjoy the other. 

Both have a similar tone and feature terrorism. Both show two opposing sides of a conflict And feature anti-heroes. The characters in both series share a lot of similarities. 

Both shows are done in CGI. Both main characters had to get used to their new life after "something" happened. Similar feelings. 

Both anime have dark atmosphere and CG. Protagonist that had some struggles in life gets some super powers and you can't call them human anymore. Action, gore and lots of killing.  

we have a guy who suddenly has a newfound perspective on life because he’s been granted a supernatural power. The main difference here is that Kei’s life immediately takes a downward turn because of his supernatural power, while Inuyashiki starts experiencing a more triumphant and glorious life. When one person is caught between a mysterious government agency and terrorists, it’s hard to expect any joy in life. The more subtle similarities deal with the action and the character relationships. In both, action scenes are characterized with brutal hits and pretty free-flowing CG. However, the intensity of bloodshed isn’t too high in either. There is a little more in Inuyashiki, but so far it is not gratuitous. Then there’s the way that Kei approaches Satou and tries to reign him in. This seems to be the route that Inuyashiki and Hiro are taking read more 

Both the antagonist and protagonist are not human, as the enemies are difficult to kill while obsessed with murder. 

-Inuyashiki and Ajin both feature a mass serial killer having no mercy for their victims but still having (understandable) reasons for their terrorist acts. -The main characters of both series are non-human and unkillable, battling each other with their powers. The only difference is that in Ajin is they're are born with the said power while in Inuyashiki they mysteriously receive it from an unknown entity. -Both animes are animated with CGI, Ajin is completely CGI while Inuyashiki is mixed both with hand drawn animation and CGI. 

What is humanity? Is it the body that makes a human, or the soul? These questions are addressed in both Devilman: Crybaby and Inuyashiki, and to great effect. First, getting the obvious out of the way: both Devilman and Inuyashiki are adaptations of manga featuring characters that early-on are changed into beings with superhuman abilities. Then these characters use their new-found abilities to save people, all the while trying to prove they have maintained a semblance of their humanity. Later on, the hero faces off against the villain who is their polar opposite. In addition, they share similar themes that explore the dark side of human nature. At one point in both series, society is crumbling from acts of violence, mass hysteria, and apocalyptic events (both shows are NOT for the faint of heart). On a final note, both Devilman and Inuyashiki explore moral grey areas. For example, the antagonists in each respective series are powerful sociopaths with their own motivations, and serve as perfect foils to the protagonists read more 

Both features protagonists who were turned into something inhuman due to an event that was out of their control. Throughout the series, they question their humanity and try to cope with it. Both series also feature people being complete douchebags on social media and getting what's coming to them. Both series portray humans as a species in a pessimistic light, mainly selfish and indifferent to the suffering of humans near them, just like in the real world. 

Both shows show us the dark sides of society and explore the lines between human and monster. Have somehow similar dark themes and shock value that are not for the faint of hearts. Both involves the end of the world and has that apocalyptic feel. 

Both have the same kind of psychological flow to them. What I am saying is that both shows get darker as they go on.

Much like Inuyashiki, Tokyo Ghoul starts the series off with a normal human who goes through a drastic transformation. This transformation brings him a lot of power, but comes at a pretty big cost. It should be noted that it takes a long time for Kaneki to even accept the fact that he must eat human flesh (even if it’s from a cadaver). It takes essentially the whole first season before he comes to term with what he is and how he needs to live. Inuyashiki comes to terms pretty quickly and even gets powerful moments of happiness thanks to the change, at least in the beginning. Hiro seems to have always expected such an event and is more than happy to take advantage of his new power. read more 

Both animes have a "trapped" feeling form the characters having to learn to adjust. Also, death goes around quite normally. 

These two anime are based on manga from Hiroya Oku. You have characters in both of these anime that are affected by advanced alien technology. They also have a similar dark and disturbing feel to them seeing how they are both filled with violence, blood and gore.  

Both animes talk about an old man ignored by family and by society, until one day he receives powers from a machine. 

Both have robotic humans and explore the themes of one's humanity. Both also have lots of action & gore/violence. 

Has characters that gain some sort of otherworldly power upon losing hope in their lives, puts the characters into many life or death situations against one another, there is a clear line between the protagonist who has morals and the antagonist who doesn't, and the antagonist dabbles with publicity in society, as they are able to control media news/ communication to a degree. Also, a lot of the battles in both anime are psychological alongside physical, mostly because both series have protagonists who are completely new to fighting and dealing with intense situations. I would definitely recommend Inuyashiki if you liked Platinum End, or vise-versa! 

- people who turn into machines - in Inuyashiki only one person tries to save the life of others, in Henkei Shoujo all of them are useful - HS is pure comedy, Inuyashiki is gory action
