Both shows are done in CGI. Both main characters had to get used to their new life after "something" happened. Similar feelings.

Both anime have dark atmosphere and CG. Protagonist that had some struggles in life gets some super powers and you can't call them human anymore. Action, gore and lots of killing.

Both the antagonist and protagonist are not human, as the enemies are difficult to kill while obsessed with murder.

-Inuyashiki and Ajin both feature a mass serial killer having no mercy for their victims but still having (understandable) reasons for their terrorist acts.
-The main characters of both series are non-human and unkillable, battling each other with their powers. The only difference is that in Ajin is they're are born with the said power while in Inuyashiki they mysteriously receive it from an unknown entity.
-Both animes are animated with CGI, Ajin is completely CGI while Inuyashiki is mixed both with hand drawn animation and CGI.
