Both show have a five member magical girl team based on animals and sweets. The girls also work in a cafe in both series.

Episodical magical girl anime for younger shoujo audience that combines the traditional mahou shoujo elements with cooking. Both are also very colorful.

Kira Kira Pretty Cure a la mode is a Maho Shoujo of the highest quality, with its food theme it’s a good show to watch with the kids

Both are Precure entries where the main gimmick resolves around food and they tackle themes on the bonds between family. Delicious Party has a broad range and is lighthearted while Kirakira is more serious and focuses on sweets and desserts.

Cute girls doing cute things, assisted by fairies, and focused on cooking - both shows fit that description. KiraPrecure is about magical girls, so has a lot more action and a fantasy style of cooking, though it does feature actual recipes and tips throughout, while Mai! is more idol-based and has a much stronger and more realistic cooking theme.

Both seasons have animals as their primary or secondary theme, as well as little-to-no physical fights, if you prefer that!

-Cure Whip/Ichika Usami and Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino are associated with rabbits. -Cure Custard is similar to Sailor Mercury as they both are very intelligent. -Cure Gelato is similar to Sailor Venus as they both are energetic and aspire to be singers. -Both Cure Macaron and Cure Chocolat are similar to Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus.

While I watched episodes of kirakira I thought "it looks like Shugo Chara" Why? -Mahou Shoujo anime -Fight style is also similar -A group of persons who are doing your daily activities with magical pets (KPALM - Fairy SC-Guardians Chara) -Also in Kirakira they make a lot of sweets and in Shugo Chara Suu make sweets

Both are shows about a young girl with a passion for baking, albeit not all the skills required. While Precure has flashy transformations, Yumeiro has cute fairies (which, technically, Precure does too). Yumeiro is great for Kirakira fans who want a heartwarming, slice-of-life story and Kirakira is wonderful for Yumeiro fans who'd like a bit more action.
