The similarity between Tokyo Mew Mew and Kira Kira Precure A la Mode is very similair. Both series are mahou shoujo anime aimed for little girls. You better have some cash with you because both anime have a café/sweet shop of some sort, while cute girls in cute maid outfits serve you every now and then (while also trying to make the world a better place). For the animal lovers out there; there's also an animal theme going on in both series.
