Both shows start with the cute, pink, lovable protagonist (Kokoa and Hinako) who move to a new town that is the opposite of where they grow up. They both stay somewhere that has a coffee shop and has a rule that the residents have to work there (Hitotose Manor and The rabbit house) where the main character becomes friends with four girls, each with color themes. Theres: Kuina and Chino. Sharo and Chiaki. Mayuki and Chiya. Rize and Yua. Kokoa and Hinako. Both shows are cute, slice of life shows that if you like one, you will like the other.

Both are slice of life with cute girls, and MC from the country.

-Both have a girl working a part-time job in a cafe while trying to deal with their co-workers and their real-life problems. -Both girls have some quirks that they need to deal with on daily basis especially at work. -Both of them have coworkers who have special quirks that make them interesting and also, their interactions with the main character.

Both shows are centered around a girl who is attempting to get over her social anxiety problems, and are always both filled with cute and funny moments.

Both shows have cute girls doing cute things and both deal with interaction between a group of girls (no boys allowed) and about trying something new (One about theatre and another about manga drawing) Both have similar main characters (cute and very shy) and both have the similar animation

Similarities: - Four or so cute girls have fun together as a club. - Lighthearted and somewhat silly tone. - Implications of yuri without ever forming official couples. Differences: - Yuru Yuri is more of an episodic comedy, while Hinako Note has somewhat of an ongoing storyline. - Similarly to above, Hinako Note is specifically about acting, while Yuru Yuri is just about girls hanging out.

Slice-of-life comedy filled relaxing anime. Doing everyday activities with friends like what they would write, "cute girl doing cute things". While Hinako Note was doing things related to Drama, Slow Start I think was more general....

-Both of the MCs have similar goals. Ex. To join the Cheer club and To join the Drama Club at their new high school. -Both of the anime are about CGDCT (Cute Girls Doing Cute Things) -Both of the MCs have their weaknesses and they try to overcome them.

Both anime feature quiet main characters, who have almost no self-confidence, learn to open up through friendship and theater. Fans of Hinako Note might enjoy a similar story with a more dramatic bent, which Hitohira provides.

So, everyone's doing these super cute tutorials on how to be seperate things. And I want to join in with anime tropes! Possibly also with nekos and, if you ask politely enough, traps. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Alright, let's not ruin any childhoods here. yes, you, how to be a kawaii little loli!

They have similar-ish art styles and are both very adorable. Umaru-chan focuses more on family than friendship but they do both have very good friendship themes. The same length, and cute intro and ending themes. Humor in both as well, although more so in Umaru-chan. Both very lighthearted overall.

Both MCs are shy at the beginning and become more socialized til the end of show

- Female main character having social anxiety and wants to make more friends. - Both have the theme of running the same gag every once in a while (once every episode) - They made themselves a group of friends (although in Komi-san's case, not quite a group of FRIENDS) - At the end of the day, they're still chasing their goals.

girls and relaxing comedy. both anime are good for those of you who like to see fluffy anime where there are cute girls doing funny things.

The primary main characters tend to be really shy the majority of the time. They both have wishes to become a popular figure, while encountering problems, friends, and fun. With the support of their friends and others, both main characters strive to become the best in their desires. Both series sit under the comedy genre.

A new girl meets a group of friends as the show follows the slice of life cute life of the friends.

They have the same feeling of Cute Girls doing Cute Things. But most important both deal with one of the girls (both shows focus on girls) as they discover something new and their feelings surprising people who already do what the are learning - probably regaining some part of wonder that led them to begin with. (in this case camping & a theater troope) Both have some decree of comedy.

Well for starter is a all female cast. No boys allowed! Second both MC are "newbies" in terms of the arts - although one is biking and the other is theater Third - Both have comedy situations Fourth - Both are "dummy" guides on how to... - How to begin biking - How to begin a theater trope

Main characters have social anxiety troubles, also, both are from the countryside. Machi (Kuma Miko) wants to go to a school in the big city, and is best friends with a bear. Hinako (Hinako Note) just arrived to the city to attend school, and animals are attracted to her. Both are pretty cute shows with complexed MCs struggling to improve themselves.

I can't believe no one thought of recommending Lucky Star with Hinako Note; Kuu-chan's (Kuina Natsukawa) resemblance to Konata Izumi is astounding! It's basically Konata Izumi 10 years later (Lucky Star was released 2007) who don't do video games, and is evolving to moeshit-kinda anime character. :) Although Hinako Note is mighty generic than the one-of-the pioneering-awesomeness that is Lucky Star, but you can still put this as your cup of tea in a moe-Sunday afternoon!

Both moe, slice of life shows follow the shy protagonist following her interests (Theatre/ Photography) while having fun with her friends.

Both shows have a "cute" theme following a group of cute girls. Both have characters with an unique interest (Shinobu with blonde hair and Kuina with eating books) The show follows cute girls doing cute things while living together (Alice and Shinobu)
