BanG Dream!

A group of female high schoolers are formed together to create music out to the world. Each character have their own distinct trait; the MC are similar as well - in how enthusiastic they both could be and how they were inspired by another idol group which made them form their very own. Artwork are very similar for both anime too. 

Both of the show is about music and it's mostly filled with girls Bang dream is where there's a person who want to forming a band Love live is where the protagonist school is about to get closed and she becoming an idol with other member in order to save her school Both is really great and one of my favourite anime, i recommend watch both of them ^^

Both anime have a cheerful protagonist that wants to form a musical group. They both try their hardest to do so. Also, the other characters get enough screen time and have completely different personality witch you don't see very often in anime. 

Both shows share similar premises, revolving around a group of girls who decide to create a music group on a whim. They both also share lots of similar plot points/drama, and tend to have 'unrealistic' developments to the plot They also both share similar characters, with similar characteristics  

Some similarities:- - All of the main characters are high school females - They were inspired by another group - Cheerful and bright type of show - The MC (Kousaka, Honoka) has the exact same personality as the MC in BanG Dream (Toyama, Kasumi) Some non similarities:- - Love Live doesn't use instruments but BanG Dream does - Love Live has 9 members while BanG Dream has 5 members. 

Both shows follow a group of high school girls who pursue music. In Love Live, the girls form an idol group and in BanG Dream, they form a band. Both shows are mostly light-hearted and cute and are mostly character-driven instead of plot-driven. Overall, both shows have extremely similar vibes. 

I love how deep there friendships are, they overcome tons of challenges together that's what I think that makes them similar also there "song" related and tons of good songs 

Both anime are in the music genre and are perfect for those who really like anime music. Speaking of music, their OSTs and Insert Songs are really good, as well as their OP and ED. 

Both animes have an emphasis on band dynamics as a whole SIP is focused more on school idols while BD is focused on the band itself Both has an end goal that the characters work towards For anyone wanting good dynamics between the members of a band, while also getting to know them individually, both of these are good 

Both features high school girls forming a music group (For love live is school idol, for BanG Dream is a band) Both have a generally cheerful but do feature some emotional moments. Both features leaders (Kasumi and Honoka) who inspire their groupmate with their passion. Both aims to perform on the biggest stage in their area (Love Live is Love Live, BanG is SPACE stage)

Both of the anime is about music and the music is from a band. The anime is more like having fun and how's the band growing up from time to time. If you watch beetween one of these, i suggest you watch the other one since both of them is such a great anime ^^ Edit: The difference is K-ON! only got one band which is the main one, but BanG Dream! got more than one band which can be found out at second season but the main story still focused on the main band which is "Poppin' Party"

This anime, K-On, is also similar to Bang Dream. They have same genre which is music and also has that Girl's Band. Although, Bang dream gives us that essence of being in a band in a way of dream. Their dream to reach Budokan or reach higher peak, even if they don't show it. K-On is the opposite to that, it's not like they don't want to play in Budokan but it's chill version, it's moe is the cherry on top. They goof around and do their thing, play at their culture festival, etc. K-On is the slice of life and comedy version of bang dream, if you just wanna chill, I highly reccommend to you watching K-On worth the time and has a proper ending read more

Both have an interest in music and form a band at school Slice of Life is one of the interesting things in this anime which is very good to watch after work because this anime has a light storyline..comedy is also good  

Both feature high school girls forming a band. Both features MC (Yui and Kasumi) have no experience in playing guitar and have to slowly learn from the start. I can say both Anime is extremely similar, if you like one of them you will definitely like the other.  

Both anime are music-inspired and also share the same slice of life setting. One is an all-out classic while the other serves as an adequate modernized version of the original idea. And of course... the songs just go crazy. I recommend if you like music-themed or slice of life anime. 

Both are music anime and both have games!  

Both series are about a group of girls that share their passion for music and form bands togethor, they also have similar art styles and character personalities. (Credit to Serafos for telling me about these) 

"Bang Dream" and " Bocchi the Rock!" are somewhat similar and the reason for that is first both anime shares the same style which is Girl's Band, Second they share the same genre which is music, and Bang Dream has that competitive kinda vibe here and there which is somewhat same to Bocchi the rock. Bang dream has great music, especially I love their vocals (Yukina Minato and Kasumi Toyama). Bocchi the rock doesn't let us down either with its chaotic yet eye-catching way of portraying how bands vibe with each other, its slice of life genre is just an additional spice to its perfect dish. 

Both of the anime got similarities about music. The difference is BanG Dream! is more into fun, comedy, and everyday life while Hibike! Euphonium is more serious because the team is aiming for Gold medal at National Contest but also got kind if slice of life problem, but aside from that... both of the anime got great story in it. BanG Dream! music type is light music (Guitar, Keyboard, Drum, Bass, etc), while on the other hand Hibike! Euphonium is Orchestra (Oboe, Euphonium, Trumpet, Percussion, etc). Both of the anime got goal, for Hibike! Euphonium... it's already mentioned above which is aiming for Gold medal at National Contest, on the other hand, BanG Dream also got goal but only mentioned in the Season 2 and 3 which is unfortunately cannot be told because of spoiler.
