-Both are about exorcists -Female MC and Male MC have similar characters -Both have relationship between Female and Male MC
report Recommended by Shoumetsuu
+ Both are action stories with supernatural and comedic elements. + They fight and kill monsters in a very similar way to upbeat music. + Features a male main character with a tragic past, who is dorky and silly, yet can be serious when necessary.

Similar concepts around Exorcists and demons however Ao No Exorcist is done better, especially with inclusion of a second season that follows the manga more closely.

both have a similar duo of "exorcists"
report Recommended by AcknologiaX
Has the whole exorcist theme fighting demons hilarious but can get pretty serious at times MC also believes in the "destroy all the evil" reasoning amazing series anyways

-Both are anime where the main character and main heroine travel to a different world to fight monsters -Both have a 'baby' arc where a mysterious child appears and is the honorary offspring of the hero and heroine -In both, the main character is OP and rarely looses a fight, usually losing one to learn a lesson and then never losing again

First of all the concept of duo is really similar in both animes. they do use their powers together to beat their enemy & also they are paired. they can't be paired with someone else or rather they don't want to be. they both want to protect their patners also they do develop feelings & starts to live in one house or a room in both anime.

Both shows involve teenagers fighting demons. Both "demon groups" start with the letter K(Keeshan in Soul Eater and Kegare in Twin Star). They also pull the occasional boob joke at times.
report Recommended by Izac_Kak
Both appear to be typical shounen anime at first, but are in fact way darker than most shounen, and are not afraid to kill characters when it makes sense, while still not making the heroes into simple psychotic killers.
report Recommended by Einws
They have the same supernatural with some comedy content in it, though U2T tends to be a little bit more serious. Also both main characters are in the business of dealing with supernatural beings that threaten the balance of the universe.

Not similar story wise, but if you're looking for a similar Action/Romance genre. Both these series hit the same feelings.

Both are very similar. The plot is a bit different but still almost the same. They are both about beings from another dimension invading earth.

- Both protagonists deal with monsters born from humans' negative emotions - 'Both protagonists 'exorcise' the monsters born from human's negative emotions' - Both protagonists experience growth throughout the show. - Both protagonists are kinda overpowered I feel the animes are rather similar because of these reasons. They might have a few more but I have already forgotten some details from Sousei no Onmyouji as I watched the show awhile back but these are the main similarities. Happy watching !

Twin Star Exorcists and Mob Psycho 100 are both shows, with a ridiculous team of people who exorcise evil spirits. Each series has some scenes that take place in a school. The protagonist(s) in each series are in middle school. Each show has a family dynamic, in Twin Star Exorcists it is more of a groups of people who basically consider each other family. There is also a ridiculous character, who is the boss of the protagonist(s).

Both series have a conflict of Exorcists/Onmyoujis vs Demons/Kogane. Both include details of Exorcist activities, powers and myths. They are also both action-oriented series.

Owari no seraph is a great anime. They aren't really exorcists, but they've also got great weapons, characters and storyline. Owari no seraph also has a great rating

We have in Bleach, Shinigamis who "purify" the evil Hollows that hunt down humans. Well we in this series, Exorcists who exorcise "Evil Spirits", who... hunt down humans, and of course, it's also dimension related(you have Hueco Mundo in Bleach where Hollows live right? Well, let's say it's the same for the Evil Spirits in this case) and later down the road you will realize even more how similar they are, can't tell anymore than this because otherwise I would spoil you. The series, while having a completely different plot/story than Bleach, has a pretty similar concept. The story altho different, is definitely good, if you liked  read more

+ Fighting with supernatural creatures (in Sousei no Onmyouji - monsters names kegare, in Rakshasa Street - evil spirits) + Young heroes (in Sousei no Onmoyouji - exorcists - people with purification abilities, in Rakshasa Street - spirit hosts with ancient companions + Some special bond between two main leads (in both friendship between a boy and a girl, but they both don't admit it, in SnO there is more romance in it)
report Recommended by TenderRain91
Both have the same creator. While one is more focused on comedy and the other one on action, you can easily tell that both have the same mind behind it.

Aside from being under the same genre - action, supernatural and shounen; the two have other notable similarities: 1.) The male and female protagonists on both shows were destined to be husband and wife, also as being agreed upon by their family/superiors; which later on turned into real romance between them. 2.) The male protagonists have the same dream of becoming the strongest - for Yoh to be the Shaman King and for Rokuro to be the strongest exorcist like Abe no Seimei. 3.) As for the female protagonists, Anna and Benio - both are very powerful and very supportive of their partners which makes them very reliable  read more

Quirky comedies with supernatural elements. In both the MC/MC pair has great powers. Really similar atmosphere. Both are funny

In both series main characters get transported to secret world to fight monsters/witches. Similar type of action in a way. Madoka seems to be darker though.
report Recommended by kitten320
Main characters are "the choosen one". They have the purification ability. And they have something to do with "Kegare".
report Recommended by renzospark
Both titles include teenagers hunting supernatural entities. Also lots of comedy and action.

- Both anime take the main characters to a different world that normal humans aren't aware of - Both parallel worlds have a red, dystopian theme - Both MCs are related to a prophecy/legend - Both MCs faced a tragedy at a young age - They fight hoards of black creatures in the different worlds - Both MCs have an "overpowered" ability though they take some time to use it (for different reasons)

These are two of the few action/fantasy anime that cater to both the shounen and the shoujo audience. The mix of romance and action that's birthed from having a male and female couple leading the story is almost unique in shounen anime. They also deal with similar types of villains in the form of spirits and the chemistry between the cast outside of the leads are also full of warm vibes. Ken and Rokurou also happen to have the same voice actor, Hanae Natsuki.

Both anime are adaptations of Shonen Jump manga by Studio Pierrot. The main female character hates the main male character in each how, however do to their situation they have to spend time together. The main female character accidentally catches the main male character doing something perverted. Chuuta in elDLIVE has to join the Space Police force elDLIVE. In Twin Star Exorcists Rokuro and Benio are forced to become exorcists.
