Both shows take place in one city filled with supernatural and sometimes bizarre phenomenons. Plots of these two animes tell stories centered around school student finding an adult mentor and having various adventures together and with their friends, all covered in well implemented slice of life and comedy elements.

I've longed for another show similar to HxH. Diamond is Unbreakable comes the closest in the aspects I think are the most important: -Characters all have unique and extremely creative abilities -Fights are almost always won by quick thinking, clever application of your ability, or outsmarting your opponent, rather than the much more cliche "willpower/brute strength/plot convenience". -Both are fairly unpredictable - you may even know the direction the show will go, but will have no clue how it'll get there -Very likable main cast and interesting main villains

Persona 4 its like Diamond is unbreakable with high school students and japanese myths Same lighthearted mood about murder cases (But in persona 4 is more mysterious because you don't know who the murderer is) Personas are like stands

These anime are about high school delinquents protecting their hometown from killers with paranormal abilities. In my opinion, DIU has a lot in common with YYH's Chapter Black arc due to its slice of life pacing, unpredictable nature, and the similar functions of Stands and Territories.

Colorful cast of high school students with supernatural abilities try to solve supernatural mystery/mysteries. Both series mix comedy and serious moments and slice of life elements with action elements. Both anime have interesting use of various color palettes and are aesthetically pleasing to the eye in general.

Both're strange and particularly mysterious small town murder mysteries with very similar tones to one another. JoJo is obviously a lot more than that, but what part 4 in particular is at its core, is very similar to Migi to Dali.

If you finish Diamond is unbreakable ,you want something like Jojo and you don't want to read part 5 manga, Boku no hero is the answer. The quirks feel like stands, and the humor tends to be similar. And the Jojo sense of justice is present too.

If you have completed JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 4: Diamond wa Kudakenai and like it, especially if you like Kishibe Rohan and want to get to know him more, I recommend this. Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai is a spin-off story that takes Kishibe Rohan's perspective. Tells about his experiences as a comic artist.

they both talk about a murderer who is on the loose and the main character is trying to find them although it does have its differences it's still pretty similar

Very Exciting anime with a lot of action, comedy, and craziness A few episodes of Kill la Kill have a SOL feel to them Like Part 4 of JoJo and have Villain of the week formula although seen less often in Kill La Kill. Both have Exciting and fulfilling endings.

both are about a group of high school students that fight against evildoers by summoning their Persona/Stand that all have their own unique special powers.

-Both are comparable on the aetheric plane and both deserve a 10/10 -Both deal with character development and overarching story elements -Both stem from Professor Einstein's theory of relativity -Both reflect a world in which an event has shaped the future of a city/town

The main/final focus is to defeat fate/power related to time loops but along the way, it features occasional slice of life bits alongside even comedy too

I found Dr Stone to have the same sort of charm as part 4. I see part 4 as sort of a more fun but equally serious and actually super interesting part of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. I felt like Dr Stone had this same sort of feeling to it. One of the main things I noticed was the sound design. Dr Stone and Jojo have really similar sounds with gunshot sound effects and stuff like that to give more impact or weight to something. This gives the shows a similar feeling. They are also both beautiful at some points. Both are focused on friendship, something  read more

Basically JoJo's but with generic-looking anime characters and gambling as its plot. I wouldn't call it a gambling anime though, it's very hard to explain an anime which is similar to JoJo's with posing and absurd ways of defeating enemies, so I'll just call it a bizarre anime.

- Both have a more colorful and lively vibe - several inconsequential doing things around town and getting into trouble "A little heavier than usual." -Both has a very unique and memorable style

Both of this animes have in common the history with a "city" in focus, who are crazy and are the own motive to the adventure of the characters

DIU = Slice of Life Jojo Both have a main character who is a student. Both are funny. Both of them have weird things in some scenes.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Diamond is Unbreakable are both are about wacky teenagers and super space powers. Each is wacky and hilarious in their own right and have a very unique set of characters and an interesting world.

YUGIOH! DUEL MONSTERS by NAS and Studio Gallop is a strange story just like Jojo part 4. Both series take place in late 90's Japan and have a cast of characters who bounce off of each other well. The slice of life moments in both series are hilarious, and the action is great in both series.

Mysterious happenings are occurring in a small town, and it's up to a select group of kids (and some adults) to save the day! There is also an unfolding mystery happening in the background.

While the two shows are different, they share some similarities. Both main characters have powers and will eventually meet other characters in their towns and have small events that the main character either solves or tries to avoid. While Saiki won't be fighting a main villain, it was pretty interesting to watch his daily life.

The settings and motivations are near identical, with the protagonists' hometown being what they want to protect in an urban-fantasy setting. They both have wonderful soundtracks with different styles and the main characters both share similar morals and desire. Both of these shows have similar, smart, planning type villains that don't encourage sympathy but rather understanding.

Both are stories about young teens searching to kill/stop a deadly murderer that hides himself in society and makes himself look like a normal human, with a normal life, wife and kids, while actually comitting murders while no one is seeing

If you like the terrifying and juxtapose atmosphere from psycho-pass, you should definitely like this Jojo part,Great animation, eargasm from stands and dominator and the 2nd half where the fun begins, hide and seek murder mystery with kira and makishima

Both about towns with supernatural abilities and mostly about the characters I guess.

I know it seems rather bizarre, but the fourth season of JJBA, at least the first episodes of it, and AuB are pretty similar since they both are episodic, present a quirky cast of character, have a bright color scheme and have a more complex plot developing underneath the episodic adventures.

Both animes are 「B I Z A R R E」 at their own ways. World construction is really wide. Power can get really random sometimes. P.S.: I tagged my favorite (animated) JoJo part but it's not the first one. You can check the order at the anime's page

Kio Arc is partially Part 4 as a new antagonist Ezelcant takes on the mantle of Yoshikage Kira while the others return.

Both are great Shounen that are Filled with comedy. Both have amazing writing and very well developed casts. Both have very serious episodes, amazing action, and are not afraid to kill characters off.

They aren't really similar at all. But if you enjoyed DiU for the villain and murder mystery elements, Monster the best of that you can find in anime. It also goes much deeper into the psychological and background elements of it's characters.
report Recommended by Church_of_Yeezus
Both involve an antagonist that can do mental time travel and anticipate the hero's actions when they rewind time. The protagonists must use their own abilities to figure out and counter the antagonist's abilities. This is more fleshed out in Diamond is Unbreakable due to it being a television series.

- Both share similar superpower abilities (Stands/Honki people) - Vibrant and bold colors and animation - Stories in both center around high school and there's delinquents

If you love the climax of one series when protagonists and their friends fight together their enemy(ies), you will find the same thing in the climax of the other.. *I find the similarity of the amazing cover of the last chapter of FMA manga with DiU's OP3.. It's great to have friends fighting evil together with you ...

They do not take themselves seriously, have a very similar style and powers and level of power VERY much.
report Recommended by morettiBlueEyes
The history of both shows takes place in an District/City, where anything of Bizarre and supernatural can happen in just one episode. In Durarara is the District of Ikebukuro, In JoJo Arc 4 is Morioh.
report Recommended by HappyNeko
Both shows feature punks delinquents as main characters. The shows both include high amounts of comedy but are both full of actions. While JoJo's art style makes it stand out very much from the crowd but as with Dimension High School's mainly live action recording makes it stand out very much These are both very good shows that feature a lot of quality comedy and action. A need to watch for god.

-Comfy Suburban Atmosphere -Relateable Teenage Protagnist -Strong Sense Of Friendship -Tactical Battles(though Ippos are obviously more grounded)

So there are these stand things, right? So yeah, beyblade have they like people things come out of them to fight, kinda like stands. So if you get rid of the whole beyblade thing, its just a stand, dude! So if you like jojo you might like this dank show called beyblade. Also for the other way around, jojo is cool beyblade people.

Old manga with many colors and onomatopoeia that blend shonen battles and comedy.

Bizarre characters and powers, weird logic, and ridiculous moments. At the first glance, Keijo and JoJo aren't really that similar, but there are quite some similarities here! They share a similar art style, main characters with a lot of passion with a strong will to fight, and kind of similar fighting mechanics. Sure it's not guaranteed that you'll like Keijo simply because you like JJBA, but it's worth a try, but only if you can keep up with the fan-service that's it.

Both combine action with comedy, jojo is more action than comedy and space dandy is more comedy than action. Bizarre at their own way. Colorful Space dandy's first season as diamond is unbreakable first episodes don't follow a main story, every episode is something different. Dandy resembles part 2 joseph joestar

Series set in towns packed with eccentric, memorable characters. They gradually build a strong sense of community and chronicle the rocky yet inspiring maturation of central cast members. Both have awesome character designs and godly OSTs. (It should be noted that watching the first three parts of the Jojo series will probably improve your enjoyment of the fourth.)
