Tiger Mask

Well even if one is wrestling and other killing to save humanity from destruction. they both resemble in their heroes, tiger mask and kenshiro and their sense of justice. they are both fightings with violence and lots of blood. ALL I can say is that the resemble in greatness.  

Oldschool anime about wrestling, with masks and manly men. Tiger Mask is even referenced in Kinnikuman. 

Both titles take place in the world of wrestling. They include a lot of action in the ring, masked fighters, and wrestling techniques. The common theme is "becoming stronger". Differences: - Sakura Hagiwara loses most of her fights, while Tiger Mask (Naoko Date) usually wins. - Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai features more boobs, while Tiger Mask features more brutality. 

I want to recommend to watch these 2 shows together, not because they are so similar, but because of the differences. Of course, there are some similarities. Both titles are mostly episodic, and the episodes themselves often follow a similar pattern: First, a little story that centers around one of the characters, then a concert (Aikatsu) or a fight (Tiger Mask). But then, there are the differences: In Aikatsu, the cast consists of girls with good intentions which make a career as idols. They compete with fair means, and even the rivals are friends. There are no bad guys, barely anyone gets hurt, and almost every episode ends on a high note with a concert with smiling idols. A really sweet title. In contrast, in Tiger Mask you have male professional wrestlers, who are divided in good (Naoko Date and his friends) and evil (Tiger's Den fighters). They do not fight with fair means. Often, there are wounded or even dead in the ring. You will see sweat, blood and mutilated bodies, and hear grunts and screams. How do these 2 shows fit together? When starting Aikatsu, I realized that too much of its sweetness can make me feel bad in the stomach. So I was looking for something manly for compensation, and found Tiger Mask. Those brutal fights felt like a nice change at first. However, I could not stand much of the brutality because it made me feel like after consuming too many Aikatsu concerts. So I ended up watching Tiger Mask and Aikatsu alternatingly. As soon as one made me feel bad, I switched to the other, thus avoiding an overdose of both sweetness and brutality. This also contributes to a balanced entertainment diet. (However, there is still some Aikatsu left after finishing Tiger Mask...) If you can't stand too much girlyness or manlyness in too high doses, but you could find both entertaining in smaller segments, watching Tiger Mask and Aikatsu alternatingly may increase your enjoyment of both. read more 

Tiger Mask and Ashita no Joe are series that were created end of the 60ties/beginning of the 70ties (of the 20th century). Both are about an orphan who grew up in poor circumstances and makes his way to the top. Ashita no Joe focuses more on the characterisation and development of the main character and his adversaries. Tiger Mask focuses more on „enemy of the week“ fights. So if you are interested in a fighter career of an underclass hero in an episodic (Tiger Mask) or epic (Ashita no Joe) manner, then you might enjoy these titles. 

Sport is struggle. Sport is blood and tears. Two lyrical portrayals of sporting spirit through two series of the late 60s/early 70s. Both are a blend of drama and sports. 

Both are late 60’s shounen anime about sports and with plenty of action, drama, and violence, and are very similar for character design, animation, and general mood. 

Also it's different sports, Ippo (Boxing) Tiger Mask (Wrestling), they all have great fights and similar stuff. 

In both series, you will see brutal hand to hand fights, without many rules. Sometimes, fighters may get seriously wounded or even die. If you like your bare handed combat dirty and bloody, both titles may be for you.
