Dance with Devils

Ritsuka Tachibana has always been a good student, so she is completely shocked when she is suddenly summoned by the student council for breaking school rules. Led by Rem Kaginuki, the student council—also consisting of Urie Sogami, Shiki Natsumezaka, and Mage Nanashiro—tries to interrogate her, but it soon becomes clear that they have ulterior motives. However, this is only the beginning of Ritsuka's misfortune. When her mother gets kidnapped, her life is turned upside down, and Ritsuka gets drawn into a battle for supremacy between vampires and devils. Both groups are searching for the "Grimoire," a forbidden item that allows its owner to rule the world, and Ritsuka is somehow connected to this strange artifact.

The return of Ritsuka's protective brother Lindo from overseas gives her hope that life could return to normal. But even her sibling is harboring his own dark secrets. Ritsuka begins to question whom she can trust, and if she can ignore her growing attraction toward the devilishly handsome student council members.

You must watch this with English dub! Its like watching ghost Story all over again!! Its hilarious!!!

So let me just break it down to you:
Intro and outtro was nice. Catchy and I enjoyed it!

Animations and drawing style was good. I liked it all! Specially the way they added all the special effects!

I watched it with dub, which made all their songs and singing/duets horrible translated. Which made it ten times more fun. It was like watching ghost Story English dubbed all over again haha :D

Story here is where it get a little bumpy. I really enjoyed the concept and the story of the anime..and to ... some degree i actually liked the ending outside the castle. (Not saying anymore to prevent spoiling) what i did not like was what happen after that. Im unsure if they were debating of making a season 2 or what the heck that ending was... like they could at least tell us what happens more along with the demons and the vampires.. like add an extra episode instead of just rushing that vague ending with a short lame squeezed in song duet!


I really wanna know what happens after!! And the continues !!!! Hate it when they leave it up to our imaginations..


But yes relaxing anime, super chill to have in the background while working yet interesting enough to make u wanna keep going..

Mixed Feelings

(NO SPOLIERS) I have given overall a rating of 5. I am having a hard time rating this anime though, because honestly it is not good. The characters are poorly developed, the singing parts seemed to come out of nowhere at times, I felt as if there was not much closure at the end, and really the plot is not anything note worthy. Despite all that, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It made me laugh, I was invested, and I have watched it twice. The thing is, I could not tell you why I enjoyed it so much, so honestly if you have not seen it, ... give it a go. I am still giving this an overall average score, because as much as I loved it, from an anime standpoint it was not anything that would or should stand out too much, and does not have the qualities that GOOD anime has. Keep in mind, I really enjoy typically stupid, trash anime.

2 stars only bc Mage and Shiki are goated. MC was genuinely so unlikable, Rem was boring, Lindo (Secondary love interest) is MCs cousin, and I genuinely did not gaf abt Ritsukos mom or Azuna. The plot was so boring and I found myself not caring at the literal climax of the story and everything the love interests said was predictable. Shiki x Mage on top, I wish Mage was a butch lesbian. Uh idk what else to say abt this but I still wanted to write a review so rewatching this wasnt a complete waste of time. Watch a different reverse harem unless you ... like to suffer, ngl some parts were ironically enjoyable like when the characters belt into song at random times in the episodes, or when MC screams like Raku chan from kawaii neko sugar girls.
