Recommendations

Both shows are high school comedies where quality of school life is determined through battles. In Baka and Test, the battles are between avatars whose power level depends on how well students do on tests while in Mikagura, the battles are between club representatives.

Both feature various characters with special powers, and the animation of both series is very bright and colorful. I personally felt both series had very likable and unique characters, and I really enjoyed the soundtrack to both.

Both main characters are happy go lucky and pervy lesbians and most characters are beautiful females. They also have similar humor and color schemes in art and graphics.

They both share lack of direction, but are fun at the same time Both character driven, rather than plot driven Shares school-life/slice of life aspects Supernatural action scenes

-Both involve school clubs which their objectives are to patronize the club. -Involve with some kind of power(but in D-frag, it is only just a mock power) -Both are comedies -Both MCs have to deal with masochistic people

- Both have mild climate yuri - Character charismatic - History takes place in a school - Kyouko = Eruna / Yui = Seisa / Otone = Chinasu-chan / Bimmi = Akarin - They live on the basis of their clubs

The comedy feel is similar with the soft nature characters with a darker past. mikagura is about students competing with each other. Really fun to watch!

I think if you enjoyed Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku you'll also like BanG Dream! The heroines of these series are extremely similar in both their personalities and their outlooks on life. The animes aren't really deep but the stories they tell are quite interesting. Not focusing on the bigger story but rather main characters relations to other characters. Which is actually really enjoyable as it is not over focused, and makes it easier to watch. The heroines are cheery girls who try to gather a group of girls to form something new. If you like school type anime I recommend you watch them both.

Despite the main focal character (Eruna and Nyaa-tan) have different goals and directions, they share a similar personality. Both anime have great comedy and involve battles. They both aired on the same season.

Both Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyou and Black Rock Shooter are based entirely off Vocaloid Projects.

School, magic battles, different tiers of students having different privileges.

Madoka, Lan and Muginami in Rinne are similar to Eruna, Seisa, and Otone in Mikagura where friends of MC are constantly picking fights with the other person but somehow find mutual agreement by MC, who happens to always be in a positive mood.

Although Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku is much more lighthearted, both shows feature privileged students using special powers in their unique clubs.
