Both shows are high school comedies where quality of school life is determined through battles. In Baka and Test, the battles are between avatars whose power level depends on how well students do on tests while in Mikagura, the battles are between club representatives.

Both share colorful cast of characters and have similar plot of school battles where winnings get you in more comfortable amenities. Difference is the yuri romcom is more prevalent in Mikagura as opposed to basic comedy in Baka & Test.

MGA- Mikagura Gakuen Kumikyoku BTT- Baka to Test
Both involve fighting for school rankings. MGK is for clubs and BBT is for class. I like BBT more because the fights work more as a group and requires teamwork, where as the other one you would just have club representatives fighting against each other. I find BTT to have the more interesting fights and better humour. In MGK there isn't a lot of full fights even for the main character. By full I mean fights that last longer then at least 10 seconds.
