They are both experimental shorts that depict random shapes. If you asked me, Wonder feels like the happy and cheerful sibling of Technology Shamanism.

If you are curious about how beautiful and unique short anime can really be, then these two are exactly the thing that you're looking for. Be it for different reasons. Puparia is a little shorter, but it has a lot of breathtaking visuals and a unique atmosphere, that manages to be both beautiful...and yet creepy at the same time. And at least one of the visuals in it will stick in your mind for a long while. Wonder is longer and a lot more abstract, plus it was done by one person in a single year. The surreal transitions in both are really similar but Wonder manages to take it to the next level.

Both are short experimentl works by Mizue Mirai. Both have hand-drawn animation, playful colours and abstract shapeshifting shapes. If you like work by Mizue or if you enjoy unusual anime be sure to check these out.
