Just pure comedy situations generated from girlish talks. Watching girls do their bests, fight together and go everywhere together without Yuri element. If you want something like this, these animes are for you!

Both series deal with anxiety issues and poor communication skills on the main protagonists who also overthink too much the situation, expecting the worst case scenario.

Both Houkago teibou nisshi and yama no susume are CGDCT series and have a few similarities. Houkago is about fishing while Yama no susume is about mountain climbing, and both anime explain their respective hobbies in an interseting way. The main cast likwise has some similarities. I found the characters of Hina and Natsumi in Houkago similair to Aoi and Hinata of Yama no susume. Both series also have a relaxed setting.

Is what you're looking for, a moe, slice-of-life, lighthearted, warmhearted CGDCT anime? With a touch of Japanese scenery? And yet there is characterization and plot (just not as extreme)? Then look no further, Tamayura: Hitotose and Yama no Susume showcases just that. Easy to watch, none of those mind-bungling plots and complex characters, these anime are perfect for a lazy afternoon or cool night. It's simple, refined, and adds a great rendition to what CGDCT anime are. Plus, both Kana Asumi and Yuka Iguchi are seiyuus in these two anime.

Both are about group of cute girls enjoying sport activity. While Yama no Susume: Second Season is about mountain climbing and is more slice of life, Ro-Kyu-Bu is about basketball and is more ecchi.

Both series feature beauty in nature and show a great deal of impressive sceneries. Although the characters and the background story of Tamayura are more detailed, both anime are equally warmhearted and easy to grasp.

The main focus of these shows is cute girls doing awesome things. In K-On they play music, in Yama no Susume they climb mountains. In K-On the main character has no musical ability; in Yama no Susume the main character is afraid of heights. The music in K-On is great; the visuals in Yama no Susume is amazing. The second season of K-On is twice as long as the first and the second season of Yama no Susume is 8 times longer than the first. The shows are both about strengthening friendships by participating in an activity together.
