Ikkitousen is the same genre of anime as Tenjou Tenge. They both are heavily based on the martial arts and ecchi genre with a bit of the superpower genre tossed in as well. Although Ikkitousen has more ecchi and a proper ending.

Same type of story. Main character is a weakling that joins a school that has fighting clubs and gangs that like to test out the new freshmen to see how strong they are. Main character gets picked on and joins a dojo to get stronger. He ends up getting hunted down by the local gang and has to protect him self. Full of comedy just like Tenjou Tenge.

Since they are by the same author, they have the equal amount of good action, as well as good animation to match up with them. The not-so-good male protagonist is also included, also with many hot girls to light up the scene. Of course, the amount of fanservice is about the same, although Air Gear is toned down a lot more

This is almost the exact same concept, Ecchi Theme, lots of fighting. Ok plot.

Both martial arts focused anime with over the top action. Both have very similar appeal due to a lot of the prevalent themes in both anime. Characters and relationships have similarities in both series and each anime would likely both be enjoyed by the same target audience.

they are both top of the line fighting animes you well find

Both series have female combatants. Sekirei is more fan serviced based.

These are both martial arts shonen anime. They both follow the top level of martial artists that far surpasses your average professional fighters, the strongest in the world. They both have good animation, great art styles and character designs.

It has the same animation style as H.O.T.D It also involves action, lil goriness and romance. If U like one,U'll eventually like the another ;)

Both are about highschools full of delinquents who love to fight. They also both have some epic fight scenes from time to time.

After watching the first episode of the ass'n'tit fest that is Hyakka Ryouran, the first thing I thought was Tenjou Tenge & Ikkitousen(with Ikki already being recommended) ...for anyone looking for voluptuous women combating with little on, then both series will be eye candy for any ecchi enthusiast...

Both a very good fighting anime. Both have secret loves and killer moves.

If you like Tenjou Tenge, you might like Ikkitousen (especially Dragon Destiny). Now, I know Ikkitousen has been recommanded to death, but Dragon Destiny has way more similarities with Tenjou Tenge and is way more recommandable than the first season: better production quality and they both have stories related to some kind of 'dragon eye'. If you like Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny, you might like Tenjou Tenge. Same kind of story related to some kind of 'dragon eye' but with a slightly poorer production quality.

If you like martial arts battle anime such as Tenjou Tenge, Baki has been the most realistic martial arts anime I'm yet to come across. While Baki has a lot more added Gore and the fights/styles themselves are a lot more grounded in realism, they both have many interesting characters with good back stories. Baki is probably better at developing more of those characters while TT will focus on a smaller group of characters and give more focus to their stories. I'd say Baki focuses more on the shows main protagonist Baki Hanma, but gives equal focus and development to all other supporting characters. TT  read more

Both martial arts shonen anime that follow the top level of martial artists that far surpasses your average professional fighters, fighters who grapple to be "the worlds strongest". They both have great animation, awesome art styles and character designs. The main characters of both series follow descendants from esteemed families in these upper circle fighting worlds.

Both are over-the-top school battle series with plenty of nudity and humor.

Both anime are action based in a school setting. Also, they both require the main character to undergo some sort of training in order to get stronger to be able to protect those close to them :)

Jujutsu Kaisen is a fantastic show all around. From the story to the characters to the action, everything is executed phenomenally. However if the thing that sold you the most was the silky smooth fighting animation by Mapa or just he fights in general, I would highly recommend checking out Tenjou Tenge. The shows packed with mind blowing fight sequences. Swinging strong right out the gate with Ep.2, which contains one of my all time favorite anime fights.

This is also a similar anime you will enjoy the action and story.

Pretty Much the same kinda thing

The main heroines look and act very familiar. Besides Jormungand is more elegant both series contain the same militant drive and energy.

The anime is pretty similar in fighting and there are hot girls

"Real Bout" and "Tenjou Tenge" both involve high schools that focus around martial arts. Battles always break out randomly and the humor follows suite.

Both anime have 2 main male characters that love havin' fight in high school.. Plus, Kyou Kara Ore Wa will make u laugh a lot! ~

A much more R-rated version of the insane action and deep conflicts you expect from any shounen.

If you like fighting then you will love this show so much fighting and blood!

fight, fight, fight, whatever they lack in story they make up in the action

This two animes contain a lot of fighting styles and the fight scenes are very impressive. Tenjou Tenge is a little more supernatural than Air Master.
report Recommended by DeadlyRaven
Both of these animes are based on fighters. If u like fighting and action in an anime, then u will love these two. Shura no toki is based on the time of samurais, when on the other hand tenjou tenge is more like modern fighting + a little fantasy added to it.

Dejá vu would explain this recommendation pretty well. Same motivations, same style, same genre... Similar character designs, similar plot, similar situations... Even the "WTF?! This can't be the freaking end!!!" feeling from both shows is the same here (aka. the ending is terrible / non existent). In other words, if you liked one it is IMPOSSIBLE to not like the other. The only thing that differentiates them is basically the fact that this is a bit more violent and a bit less ecchi and the pace is a bit different (this one is way faster), but everything else is near a carbon copy.
