Monogatari Series: Second Season

The two best adaptations of Nisio Isin's work. The studios did not let overpowering writing stop them from creating absolutely wonderful sensory atmospheres that led to groundbreaking tales about love, storytelling, and moving on. 

The art between these two anime series are extremly similar and while only one arc, but this movie have the same concept " time travling for good reasons always gets back at you ". The romance is a supporting role which is pretty well done.  

Fate/Extra Last Encore has more in common with the Monogatari anime series than the other fate animes in the franchise - in terms of storytelling, art style, animation style, storytelling and dialogue. Watching Fate/Extra literally feels like watching the Monogatari series, with Shaft's trademark character shots, over-the-top long dialogue and simple yet detailed background. 

both mc is a vampire.. both mc got HAREEEEEEM.. both mc they will do everything for his sister...  

At moments they make you happy, at others they make you cry, at others they make you rage. Monogatari Second Season and Noragami Aragoto, aside of being the two supernatural and sequels, can really be compared because of they're atmosphere. The two know perfectly when and how to manipulate the feelings of the spectator and they do it very well. If you watch them, you're not gonna forget 'em so easily 

Made by the same people and all about clever, witty dialogue and well written characters. If you liked Monogatari you'll like Mekakucity Actors. 

Both series deal with youkai and can be either funny of serious depending on the situation 

Super natural curses affixing women over their desires, a male protagonist that is there to save them. (No french new wave but fan service of mature and the young) 

-both contain a cute girl character -voiced by hanazawa kana -and there is more to them is all i could say  

The second season of Monogatari and Utena have the same central topic: The perception of what we consider truth. Both Utena and Monogatari feature adolescent characters with psychological issues and unresolved traumas which are explored very in depth, with an heroic but imperfect protagonist, a well constructed apparent villain and a strong supporting cast. Both also have a lot of symbolism, experimental animation and questionable scenes. What are you waiting to try the other anime as well? 

Similar animation style, replace oddities with witches/labyrinths, action sequences are similar, music is similar 

I can't recommend both of these series enough. Our main characters go around solving the various anomalies in their towns. Koyomi, Sakuta, and Kaiki are all inspiring human beings. And no joke, the tropes of Bunny Girl Senpai as the quantum mechanics and Monogatari as the philosophy courses of anime are deadly accurate. Your world view will be shifted by these shows, and for anyone looking to stimulate their brain, both are fantastic watches.  

Time Travelling within Supernatural power and both share similar concept .. Both MC are get back to their childhood for saving a girl and changes the future .. In Monogatari 2nd - Kabukimonogatari, MC use Legendary Vampire's power for travelling time, but in ERASED the MC have a unique power that makes him able to repeating moment before the tragedy from the past for save the future... 

It has the same cerebral atmosphere, there is a lot of exposition, and it isn't something you'll enjoy without putting some thought into it. But the story is just as engaging. Where Monogatari evokes more traditional Japanese literary themes, Zetsuen takes most of it's thematic elements from Shakespeare, specifically Hamlet and The Tempest. 

Same crazy natured plot and characters with a tint of the supernatural. 

Some arcs in Monogatari Second Seasons have similar premise with Gakkou Gurashi, especially in a certain two arcs (Kabukimonogatari and Otorimonogatari). One arc have post-apocalyptic setting where the MC is left in a world surrounded by some kind of zombies, and the latter arc have a character having delusion because she can't accept the harsh reality. Both elements are the main theme in Gakkou Gurashi. Other than the similar character designs, the OP song animation of both shows will have some changes, so its better to watch the opening too. 

Although incongruent in regards to plot, Durarara! and the Monogatari Series present themselves in a similar manner. Seemingly-disconnected story arcs intertwine and come together impressively, the supernatural encroaches upon the real world in a rather mundane manner, and characters are emphasized as being quintessentially human (even if they technically aren't), with their own strengths and flaws. 

Both involve around folklore and supernatural beings. In fact, the supernatural aspect is smoothly and naturally incorporated into the show. There are humorous contents found in monogatari second season and noragami. monogatari series second season has more sarcastic and witty dialogue while Noragami depends more on gags. 

The animation quality, style, and execution are the same. Both anime have a harem with cute, pretty girls. Both also have characters' heads tilting. 

Both are anime from studio SHAFT with its signature animation, and while they have comedy parts, they also have parts you have to think about. Both MC are a bit weird and surrrounded by group of girls, but both are not common and monotonous harem anime. 

The intelligent, psychological series of Monogatari and its special scenes resembles long static scenes from Evangelion. The main action is inside of heads of characters, but there's some action on the outside too. 

Both series have Multiple Heroines, but Kami nomi is a little more open in the romance aspect. Comedy is a strong point in both series, and there are sci fi elements and lots of stories in kami nomi.The plot gets more and more rich and interesting as the seasons advance, in my opinion is a great option if you are looking for something similar to Monogatari. 

While the whole plot of Monogatari is not centered about it, both deal with time travel, paralel worlds and the consequnces of small changes which then affect the whole world. 

Both deal with supernatural, MC is using supernatural powers to protect those precious to him, both have action and some perverted moments, both have blond loli vampire. Also, both made by Shaft. 

Heavily dialogue focused series between the main characters. It is not an exaggeration to say that the dialogue drives the story in both anime. Fortunately, the animation during characters' exchange of words is interesting as that it shifts between different objects, adding an unique visual appeal if one grows tired of the dialogue. In the end of each arc, though, the amount of intelligent dialogue would come off as rewarding, as the story always ends in a satisfying way.
