Anime Tiers

1 - Wasted effort. I want my time back. Ex: High School DxD BorN
2 - Generally weak. Wouldn't recommend. Ex: Last Exile, Sword Art Online
3 - Okay. Definitely an anime. Recommendable, but I didn't NEED to watch it. Ex: KonoSuba, Sushi Police
4 - So-so. Generally enjoyable, but has weak spots. Ex: Shimoneta, Akame ga Kill
5 - Alright. I'd rewatch it with you. Ex: Punch Line, Attack on Titan
6 - Thumbs up! I liked a lot of what was going on here. I just either wasn't totally satisfied, or I had complaints. Ex: Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu,  Space Dandy
7 - Thoroughly good. These are the shows I want to be watching. General balance of entertainment and thoughtfulness. I should probably rewatch some of these. Ex: Toradora, Mushishi
8 - Brilliant. Some of the best anime I've seen. Ex: Nichijou, Texhnolyze
9 - Perfect. Full of things that I enjoy and extremely memorable. Ex: Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Paranoia Agent
10 - Divine. Whenever I watch this, or think about it (and I think about it a lot), I'm amazed. A contender for the best anime I've ever seen. Ex: Neon Genesis Evangelion, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Monogatari Second Season


I'm still relatively inexperienced with manga, so the scale may not be quite the same.
