Synopsis

Centuries ago, mankind was slaughtered to near extinction by monstrous humanoid creatures called Titans, forcing humans to hide in fear behind enormous concentric walls. What makes these giants truly terrifying is that their taste for human flesh is not born out of hunger but what appears to be out of pleasure. To ensure their survival, the remnants of humanity began living within defensive barriers, resulting in one hundred years without a single titan encounter. However, that fragile calm is soon shattered when a colossal Titan manages to breach the supposedly impregnable outer wall, reigniting the fight for survival against the man-eating abominations.

After witnessing a horrific personal loss at the hands of the invading creatures, Eren Yeager dedicates his life to their eradication by enlisting into the Survey Corps, an elite military unit that combats the merciless humanoids outside the protection of the walls. Eren, his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, and his childhood friend Armin Arlert join the brutal war against the Titans and race to discover a way of defeating them before the last walls are breached.

Attack on Titan is a jaw-dropping introduction to a brutal, high-stakes world where humanity teeters on the edge of extinction. From the very first episode, it grabs you by the throat with raw emotion, relentless tension, and a mystery that begs to be unraveled.

The premise is simple on the surface: giant man-eating Titans breach the last remnants of human civilization, forcing a desperate fight for survival. But it’s the execution that makes it shine. The sense of fear, hopelessness, and urgency is constant, and it doesn’t hold back when it comes to showing the horror of war and loss. Eren’s rage, Mikasa’s determination, and Armin’s ...

Mixed Feelings
After finishing the series, here's my review for it as a whole:
The whole story, world, and characters are all pretty much top-notch, but the closer to the end the show gets the more it get's lost in its own sauce. The first 2 or 3 seasons are some of the best the show ever was, but I really didn't care for the majority of the show after that.

Without getting into spoilers, I don't think it's a must-see show or anything, but the first few season are definitely worth a watch. Honestly, unless you're a die hard fan, you could probably just stop watching after season ...

I will not go into great detail as to why I despise this show. Eventually, I will make a YouTube video and go into great detail, but to summarize, the pacing is way too fast, the characters have no characteristics, and they are all miserable all the time. There is nothing worse than a cast that I don't don't care about. The show quickly establishes that the side characters have no worth. It doesn't dedicate any time to their development. It doesn't make you want to relate to them because the show has absolutely no downtime. The characters can't take 2 seconds to just chill ...
