I started to read this because I wanted to read a Shoujo-ai manga and I saw this one and thought: "why not give it a try?" So that's what I did.
It's true that the art is very different of the normal manga I would read, but it's not that I didn't like it because of that. Because in some way I kind of liked the different art in this manga after a while( I admit that I thought it was just really crappy at first).
The problem with this manga is only that the two main characters look the same. Really it took a while
...
for me to figure out who was who... Just because one of them cut her hair it was easier to see and I still don't really know there full names.
It took me a few hours to read it and I actually still don't understand much of the story. I mean: it all happened really fast, without explaining what was really happening. I don't really get it and if you would ask me what the story was about, all I could say would be " yea, a girl who falls in love with another girl from her school... that was kicked out the year before... and ehm", and there I would already have a hard time explaining the rest of the story.
Of course there happened a few things, but I got the feeling like they explained only one thing in the whole manga... and you still don't know the rest of what you want to know if you're done reading.
It's just a really weird and short story that's hard to understand... and I have to say that I really don't get the end... at all... I mean, I just don't know what they meant...
I don't really know how to explain it well, but I tried my best.. anyway: it's a really vague story with main characters that almost look the same...

Okay the thing is... I just don't get it. I don't get why they came up with such a crappy story as this. It's not very realistic, and it really tries to make you laugh. Which in my case...totally failed.
Well the story is about a girl who's a lesbian that transfers to the school both her parents went to( even though it's a girls school, but I believe they said that her father was a teacher there or something). She transferred to that all-girls-school in the hope to find the love of her live, like her parents did. There is this beautiful girl( Mariya),
...
in Kanako(the main character) her eyes, who turns out to be actually a guy. He saw through the fact that she actually likes girls and kind of blackmailed her. She couldn't tell anyone about it, or else he would expose the fact that she is a lesbian. Well, alright, until there I get the story perfectly. It didn't seem that bad and I thought I might enjoy it.
But then they totally screwed it up. There wasn't really a story told in it, there were just random episodes of Mariya bullying Kanako in some "friendly way". They just throw a lot of random shit at you, that don't make sense at all. Kanako gets a nosebleed from almost EVERYTHING that has to do with girls. And it seems that she really likes EVERY kind of girl.
As someone who likes girls herself, I found that kind of insulting. I didn't really like it and it gave me a really bad feeling. As if lesbians would just like every girl out there and would get constant nosebleeds from seriously everything( even totally ridiculous things). I just didn't like the image that she gave off of lesbians( and I guess bisexual girls too) at all. I felt totally annoyed watching this anime, the whole time.
I was annoyed because of almost every character in this series, honestly I guess I only liked a few supporting characters.
There were just a few moments where I thought the story would maybe become a little interesting, but every time they screwed that up in a few minutes.
It was really weird too that Kanako gets hives when touched by a boy, and the way things go just...weren't logical at all.
It's really not my kind of anime.
I guess you would like it if you want a random anime that doesn't make sense at all, with some fanservice and just random comedy. It wasn't my kind of humor too, so I just really disliked this anime.
The only thing that I actually liked about this anime where the Opening and Ending Theme of this anime.

I was kind of interested in this story from the beginning. I just really wanted to know what happened with Joshua and I wanted to know more about Chrno. I didn't know if I would like Rosette at first, but actually I really liked her personality after watching a few episodes.
I normally don't really like or dislike demons, but in this anime I really liked Chrno. It was kind of interesting to watch how other people would react to him, because he was a demon between humans.
At first the story was very normal for me, like every other anime, but it was still
...
enjoyable to watch. But even though I already enjoyed it quite a bit, it became just more and more interesting as I watched the episodes. I didn't think that there would be a story like that behind it, and I really liked the story they came up with.
The art was kind of good, I really liked how the characters looked and I liked their personalities. I actually almost liked everyone, and that doesn't happen that often. Well, I admit that I once again didn't like everyone, but I liked the most of them. Their voices were good and they didn't annoy me. I actually really liked it when Azmaria screamed, because she has a scream that you actually wouldn't really expect. I don't hear screams like that quite often, most of the time they annoy me in animes, but this time it didn't.
In the end I was a little disappointed though, because it didn't really turn out the way I wanted it to. And there were a few things that I wanted to see happening, but they didn't happen, so that was a little bit a let down. The story wasn't totally unique too, so I couldn't give it a 10, but I gave it a 9 because I enjoyed it a lot. It made me happy at some times, but I've cried a few times too. There were a few sad parts in it, but it was kind of beautiful too. Personally I enjoyed watching this anime.

Actually this is an anime that I normally wouldn't watch, but because of personal reasons ( just an old nickname what happened to be Michiko, so I found it funny to watch an anime with that name in it) I started to watch it a few years ago. I don't really remember why, but I put it on on-hold after just 2 episodes. Last week I decided to watch the rest of it and it was as if I just started with a new anime, because I really didn't remember the first two episodes, but actually that didn't really matter because they explained a lot
...
in the episodes that followed.
The story...
Well it is a story that takes place in Brazil and that was kind of different from the animes that I watched so far, so that alone was a really fun part about the anime. It was actually a kind of good story about a girl, Michiko, that wants to find Morenos Hiroshi, the love of her life. It was said that he died in an accident, but she believes that he still lives because of Morenos Hana, who most likely happens to be his daughter( even though she didn't met her father yet). Michiko promised her to protect her and together they search for Hiroshi.
I really liked that kind of idea, so that was a part that I really enjoyed. It's just that I'm not the type of person who enjoys war like animes. There was just a lot of blood, fights and death. I actually am not good with that at all, so I felt bad a lot of times. Even though I would have wanted to drop it because of that, the story itself was far to interesting to stop watching. I just had to know how it would end. I just had to know if her father really would be still alive and if he was, what kind of person he was. I don't regret watching it, but it isn't exactly the type of anime you should watch if you're bad with an action genre. Because there is a lot of action in it.
I was interested in the story, and I kind of liked it, but there were a lot of times when I just felt totally annoyed because of what happened. And actually I didn't really like the ending, it wasn't what I expected, but it wasn't bad either though.
There's nothing special with the art actually, I don't have anything to say about it.
As for the sounds, they weren't bad. I actually liked it that the voice actors of Michiko and Hana were only used in Michiko to Hatchin, because it felt kind of unique, but I actually really liked their voices ( especially Michiko's voice) so they should get more voice acting roles in my opinion.
about the characters...I actually didn't really like much characters. I found a lot of them really annoying, but I totally loved Michiko and Hana wasn't that bad either, so that made up for the rest of the characters, in my opinion.
I didn't enjoy it that much though, there were episodes where I enjoyed the anime, but there were quite a lot episodes where I was bored too. A lot episodes felt like fillers, and that ruined it a little, but I wouldn't say that it was that bad though. In my opinion it's watchable, but not that great though.

I was really excited to start watching this anime. I watched the first episode before I watched the first season and then I realised it was a sequel, so I watched the first season first. I totally loved that one, so I really hoped this would be as good as the first season, but it wasn't quite what I expected it to be. However, it wasn't bad though.
In the beginning I didn't really get it, the story was different and I had no idea what would happen in this season. That was kind of fun though, because everything would be a surprise.
Let me start with
...
the story...
Like I said.. in the beginning I didn't really get it. It was different and I didn't know if I really liked it or not. But lucky for me it became more and more interesting. I was hoping that it would be as good as the first season, and it seemed like it would. But then the whole story changed in the last episodes, and of course everything became more clear, but I totally disliked it. I wished I hadn't seen it, because it changed my opinion about the whole story( both season one and two). I still liked the story, but it was a complete twist of the story as we knew it in the first season. I totally regretted watching it at first, but later I was happy with it, because it was a good story anyways. Because of my extreme love for Sousei no Aquarion it was almost impossible to rate this anime low, but I actually considered it for a moment because of the huge story twist. But after calming down a little I knew that this story was good in it's own way. I just didn't want to see Sousei no Aquarion and Aquarion Evol als one anime, with the same story.
Apart from the story twist in the end, I really liked a lot of things in de anime. There were a few sad parts, and parts where you could laugh or were you would just feel really happy. It was a kind of emotional anime for me and I really enjoyed it though.
As for the fights...they weren't really much in my opinion. I don't really like fights to start with, but there wasn't that much action. I really didn't watch it for the fights, because if I would .. I guess I would be really disappointed in this anime.
The art was beautiful, I really liked the colors and actually at first I started to watch this series because of it. ( But in the end the story of the first season just really grew to me and I totally loved it for the story.)
The sounds were okay. I don't really have anything to say about it. There were just a few characters which voice I didn't like, but that doesn't really matter though, because it didn't ruin the anime or anything.
As for the characters.. some of them were really weird and I didn't like every one of them, but there were a few characters that I totally loved( A few characters were weird in a good way, you don't see them in every anime, but a few of them were just stereotyped anime characters in my eyes). I was wondering the whole anime long "maybe that character is a reincarnation of that character" and stuff, and I found that kind of funny and interesting. But it doesn't really matter that I didn't like all the characters, because it would be really hard to let the viewer like every single character in the anime wouldn't it?
I did enjoy the anime, but it wasn't what I expected. It's still really a shame that they came up with such a twisted story in the end, so that screwed up the story for me and I enjoyed it less because of it, but I did enjoy the rest of the story. But in my eyes it just wasn't as good as the first season, not even close actually. But I love the aquarion series, so I gave it a 9 anyways.
I would recommend you to actually watch the first season first. I know a lot don't do that, but you will understand a lot more if you watched the first season first. And in my opinion that season is better anyways.

Okay this is my first review ever, so I'll try my best.
I loved the art. Nothing much to say about it, I just loved it.
About the sound I have to say that I disliked the Dubbed voices in the beginning. In the end I actually did like them. I only disliked Reika her voice pretty much.
I have to say that I really hated Sylvia in the beginning, but how more I watched, how more I liked her. I seriously loved what happend between her and Apollo through the series. Ofcourse there were a few characters that I disliked, like Reika, but I liked a
...
lot of the characters in the end.
As for the story...it was perfect in my eyes. Everything what happend in the past with Appolonius and Celiane was beautiful and kind of sad at the same time. The cool thing about this anime was that there happend a few things that I didn't expect to happen at all. There were some cruel and sad things in it too. The anime made me laugh and happy, but sometimes it made me sad too. It even happend twice that I cried.
I absolutly loved this anime. Actualy... I dislike Sci-fi and Mecha animes, but I gave Aquarion Evol a try. After a few minutes a friend told me about the first season. I didn't know about it, but I really wanted to watch the first season too( and I'm glad I did). I searched everywhere, but it was hard to find. I usualy don't watch dubbed animes, but I had no other choice this time. I really didn't think that I would like this anime só much. I really recommend this anime to you. I really LOVED it.
