Wow so this should be quick
Story/Character: as stated in the summary this is only intended as a bonus for the manga!!! it has NO story Or character Development!!! so if you expect to understand it without reading the manga you will be disappointed.
However I did not read the manga, so i didn't expect much from that aspect
so lets get into what i really did want from this anime!
ART: This is one of my favorite anime from an art perspective.
...
I would suggest that you see this anime if just for the artwork. I mean come on it totals around a half hour is that really so long to See something just for art?
A good amount of the anime is spent panning around dark, rather artisticly drawn, underground (or seemingly underground) mechanical areas. It really is just plane cool. The look of it isn't realistic so much as it is just artistic.
Sound: From some nice electric guitar, to some techno instrumental, to ambient and mechanical noise, and every facet beyond, i think this anime's sound fits like a tailored glove.
that's is that, and that is all!
Enjoyment: I enjoyed it, if you don't understand why then you must not have read anything i just said.

Story: I am actually editing this! Ok so i have just had a long conversation with someone about this, and my opinion has not changed. however i do feel i need to be a little clearer on my opinion.
I found this movie difficult to understand, mostly for the fact that it seems to be saying something deep, which in itself is not a problem. The problem is that what it's saying is so easy to interpret in so many different ways that the actual meaning is lost. As such i dislike the way it presents itself.
It's painfully obvious to me that it's
...
mostly a take on Christianity. However to what degree and what opinion is questionable. Also i have heard opinions that take very little stance of religion into account, and who's to say i am any more correct than them.
Art: I think would describe this movie as something that Salvador Dalli would make if he was an anime designer who lived in a one window apartment across from a church.
Beautiful, creepy, and surreal.
Sound: I don't really have much to say about the sound except for that it works with the rest of the film very well.
Character: Well you see there are only a few min of dialog in the hole film, and probably 75 percent of that is quotes (or slight variations) from the Bible.
what does this mean? it means that you lose the direct access to the minds of the characters, you are left wondering what they are thinking and why are the acting this way.
The hardest part is that the people act really oddly so trying to figure them out is really hard.
Enjoyment: I like artwork in anime so that let me enjoy this to some degree. If that were not the case i would have been rather put out.
I would suggest this anime to anyone who wants to be confused and annoyed, or anyone who likes seeing different styles of anime. Or people who like surrealism

Oh my where to begin
Story: So very much could be said, but i like to keep my reviews short. So basically my two cents are such.... This show's story is good, and yet it is dressed up (or perhaps undressed?) by a vastly overindulgence in nudity and gore. I really found the whole thing indecent even for an anime. parts of it work and parts don't.
Allot of people get onto the topics of child abuse, trauma, amnesia, and the effects of the way people are treated, when they discuss this show. And you know it does cover some of that stuff and in
...
an interesting way, however for every instance of each of these there are probably 20 people dismembered. My point is this, sure the show has some good topics, but it doesnt really stick well when you have so much gore and nudity on top of it.
Art: Fair, the intro is cool , but the rest of the intro is only average.
Sound: The opening song is cool, but the rest of the anime is once again nothing to jump out of your chair at.
Character: Well in this aspect the show is quite a mixed bag, and i feel like going into it a bit.
Kouta was nothing special, really quite stock, with the exception of his whole trauma condition, but that isn't really enough to make him exceptional.
Nana, well she was cute, after her whole diluted "i have to kill you so daddy will love me" spaz at least. I felt disgusted by having seen her naked so much though.
Nyu was.... well not so good, i mean it's Chii (from chobits) with pink hair!
no seriously, Lets make a similarity check list
special powers X
Naive in a lovable way X
Cute X
Horns X
Amnesia X
obedient X
forgotten personality X
inappropriate X
can only say one (nonsensical) word X
there are more things but this could take forever X and X
Lucy, on the other hand was quite to my liking. To be honest i used to have this ongoing imaginary story in my head with a similar main character. having said that please don't call my psychiatrist. But seriously, she is interesting. Despite the fact that she is completely psychotic you can kinda sympathize with her, and if you think about it, if you were here you would have probably done about the same thing.
beyond that i have little to say about the other characters
Enjoyment: I am not going to lie, i like gore, so i enjoyed this. however it could have undoubtedly been better.

Story: looking at the title i was completely surprised at how down to earth this anime was. And you know in the end that is what i think made it so great.
Art: Nothing flashy, but why should it be? The style and the movie blend perfectly.
Sound: The music is simple but sets a great mood, and the rest of the sound it just plain nice. Once again it's nothing amazing but it is perfectly suited
Character: I felt that the majority of the characters were underdeveloped, however that is not important. Why? B/c the main character is wonderfully developed. You get a good sense of
...
personality, attitude, emotion, and everything else you could want. She is just splendid. The best thing of all is the way she approaches the whole operatunity she is presented with, it's just so simple, yet so realistic.
Enjoyment: What can i say? i loved this little movie. The individual aspects would be nothing to write home about, but together they build each other up and create a beautiful whole that shines.
about my only gripe on this entire movie was the little time jump moments with the white space and red time-lines. It just seemed very out of place and frankly stupid to have included in such a way.

This review is for Kigeki (Comedy).
Story: For the length, this story is perfectly suited. However my one gripe is that it's really hard to fully understand.
Art: WOW! I came across this anime on youtube of all things, and opted not to watch the entire thing, instead i immediately started looking for a better copy. My word this anime has the best atmosphere of any anime i have ever seen. I Could have watched this on mute with subtitles off for any random two minutes and i would have enjoyed it. Just the way it's presented is the stuff of nightmares (i mean
...
that in a good way). It's really quite hard to describe...
It is mostly high contrast, with very little color. It's almost like Lithographic Photography. Some of it is also very stylized, and the combination of the two works pretty well.
sound: Brilliant. Plane and simple (not the music the brilliance of course).
Character: Given the length you cant learn that much about the characters, but despite that, the anime benefits from unique interaction, and great portrayal of the two (and only) characters.
Enjoyment: This was just great to watch. Ten min of candy for the senses.

I will be short simple and to the point
Story: Nothing all that original, though it was presented in a nice way.
Art: I myself am very concerned about the artwork in anime, it's what makes a good anime great, or in this case a fairly good anime good.
Crisp, Clean, and Beautiful.
Sound: The sound track was fitting, it wasn't anything special, but for the movie it was perfect. I'd have to lie if i said the music didn't make me want to relate the whole movie to "October Sky".
...
And i will say, I ended up watching the Dub, and it wasn't half bad.
Character: It's a movie, and it has three main characters, which means you don't get that much character building. However they were presented well and they felt believable.
Enjoyment:I thought it was a good watch, but at times i found myself getting bored.
