Yo. Whiteflame here.
Older anime watcher who has a pretty broad history with the medium. Always have way too much to watch, but happy to get recommendations.
I post a lot more details on my AniList profile about my various anime passions, including an extensive list of favorites and included some favorites among anime OPs, OSTs and AMVs. Here, I mainly participate in clubs and do anime reviews.
In terms of what I watch, I largely keep up with seasonals and work through a backlog that never seems to get shorter.
Feel free to message me just to strike up a conversation.

The anime is the same (direct sequel), but the changes were too much for me to take; the build up from the 1st season is suddenly no more in the 2nd season and quickly I lost all interest and end up feeling bored. It was not as exciting, and not because of Jinka; but the overall atmosphere and excitement of season 1 had me more invested.
I can't say much about the 2nd season because I dropped it after episode 9; maybe I did drop too early? But I confess I had lost interest before that, but I was hopeful so that is why I kept watching. As a veteran, I could feel that much wouldn't change that would make me enjoy this more, but I could be wrong though...
Anyway, thumbs up your review, and until sometime!
I wasn't expecting a miniature biography of "Legend of the Galactic Heroes," but I appreciate it. The reason I asked for your opinion was to gauge your enjoyment of the show, and it seems like you’re enjoying it. Honestly, I just wanted to watch the show to see what it's like as a piece of media. After I wrote my previous comment, I did some digging and found out you were right about its focus on political topics, as all the related discussions mentioned that aspect. I’m not the biggest fan of heavy political things since watching "Code Geass" gave me a genuine headache, but it was worth it for the ending. I genuinely appreciate your comment and your effort in providing links that connect to the series. So far I’ve watched the first episode, and I didn’t find it too bad, it reminds me of the old "Star Wars" movies.
Again -- thank you, the comment is appreciated.
I see that you're watching The Legend of the Galactic Heroes and I was planning on watching it but I'm not sure if its worth the watch. I have seen one episode and it was alright but everyone whose een it says its worth it. Could you tell me yoiur thoughts and opinions snd weither youd recomend watching it?
Yeah, I haven't even looked at next anime season aside from being super hyped for Lazarus. Watanabe is one of the best in the biz and I expect it to be great.
Apothecary and Frieren are both high end 9's for me, so I understand giving Frieren a 10. Crazy they both released in the same season. I scored Apo a 9.79 and Frieren a 9.62. Both Maomao and Frieren are also in my favorites here on MAL. I would say that Maomao and the setting give Apo the slight edge over Frieren for me, but I love both.
I guess I can mention a couple shows with interesting aspects that you are not watching. Spoiler-free, of course. Not saying I necessarily recommend these or anything, but figure they are worth mentioning.
Tasokare Hotel
I see you enjoyed Death Parade. I did as well. Off-brand Death Parade is basically how I would describe Tasokare Hotel. Very similar vibes so far with a similar plot/set-up.
Okitsura
This one takes place in Okinawa and really dives into how different Okinawa is from mainland Japan. Wrapped in a RomCom, lol. I don't know how I feel about the "Rom" part or the characters yet, but each episode has provided fascinating cultural exposure to Okinawa.
