Both AKB0048 and Love Live are Idol-centric. Both are very cute with bubbly characters and cute relationships. Love Live is High School SoL AKB0048 is sci-fi, kinda school SoL.

Both K-On and Love Live are super cute, muscial Slice of Life's. There is no major drama that the story gets bogged down in, and they just follow the very cute relationships of high school friends.

Similar in that both series, the main character uses girls much more powerful than him to help achieve goals. And of cause, in both the girls are smitten with the boy, and the boy is clueless...its great!

Both are cute girls fighting! While Senran does miss out on the 'boy their age that they're fighting for', both are more or less in the same basket

While not hyper similar in style or genre, both Anohana and Little Busters! has powerful messages of love, life and friendship. Both deal with the importance of living through all aspects of life, becoming better as a person. Both will move you, Anohana more so than LB!.

On face value not really the same, but again, girls fighting for boys. Baka is a lot lighter than Maji, so don't dive in expecting seriousness.
