Spring begins. I met you. Your first image are not too good. You are rude, willfulness, but your sparkling appearance make my heart lift abit. "Yuujin-A", I was indicated.
-Spoiler alert-
The story start off when Kousei met Kaori, and where the journey of exciting classical music begins. This is a youthful romance love anime revolves around classical music. We get to listen to some Beethoven, Chopin, Mozart etc throughout the story. The music is re-blended and its beautiful performance put us into the world of classical music. In fact, the way the director make a full episode dedicated to a performance in the competition is
...
so much thrilling and hell ya, the once boring classic music become so interesting now. Surely, you will start to enjoy classical music after watching this anime.
As music is one of the main aspect in this anime, the director promises a good hearing experiences. The classical music is undoubtedly thrilling, from the way the characters perform it, together with bgm that makes this anime a great success. There is one particular ost when the music come out, like the others, reflects well what the scene going to tell, and is very emotional. Sometimes, you get teary just by listening to those ost. As of opening and ending, i personally think they are the best i have heard for the year of 2014 (especially op1 and ed2).
The art is excellent, expecting some good quality from A-1 pictures. The anime start off with the vibrant color of the spring, where everything looks so lively and wonderful. The blossoming season indicate the beginning of story, where our characters start to move forward in their dream, and that make a good contrast to the gloomy winter when the anime is coming to the end, indicates the worsening of situation. But at the last episode, the winter turn to spring again. Therefore, no matter how sad the ending is, it actually shows the resolvement and the new start of our main characters, as said, no matter how hard life is, we have to move on.
There are characters connect to each other through music. Kousei very first piano performance has open a new window for young Emi and Takeshi to explore deep inside musical world. It is as if there are some mysterious power lie within the music. The are so amazed by him that they start to perform piano as well. When they have grown up, the music has eventually make them a forever rival and friend.
But only at the final episode we get to know that Kaori is also one of Kousei admirers. Surprisingly, the one that changed Kaori life is Kousei, as Kousei brought new hope for Kaori to continue live as a violinist. Afterall, Kaori is just a normal girl. Knowing not much time has left for her, she tends to live out herself. For the white lie that has been told, it is just an attempt to draw Kousei come closer. Ironically, when Kaori has reach Kousei, Kousei could not play piano anymore. But that does not stop Kaori dream to play together with Kousei. The interchange role of Kaori help Kousei, when recall back, is the one that make everything so wonderful.
The first day i watch Kimi no Uso I thought it will be another typical shoujo anime like Ao Haru no Ride. But when Kaori makes debut standing in the middle of spring and performing her instrument gracefully, everything becomes so different and the anime is like suddenly become so superb. I have eventually grown my affection towards Kaori. The way she lives at the dawn of her life will surely leave an impact on everyone.
So Kaori said, every musician perform because they wish to deliver something to someone. Finally, i get to understand why Kaori cry at the very beginning. The final emotional "I love you" is the one that every of us cry. Will you forget? No, i wont forget, forever. April is coming tomorrow. April / Spring without Kaori. I am glad to have a view of this masterpiece.
PS: I love Kaori but i ship Kousen and Tsubaki because Tsubaki is such a nice girl and if not, she is so pitiful.

Naruto the Last implies the last movie of the series. But who know? A new movie may come out telling the story of next generation. For me, this last movie has proved to be a good ending. I am afraid that any more movie would spoil it. Saying that though, I will definitely buy it if they are going to make another movie dedicated to other major character, for example, Sasuke and Sakura.
This movie is much dedicated to Naruto and Hinata. From an isolated kid until having a bunch of good friends and becoming the hero of shinobi world, what Naruto lack of is a
...
girl friend. The story reveals the reason why Hinata starts to pay her attention on Naruto. The little girl has her liking on Naruto from the very beginning, and that feeling has last for more than 10 years, as long as I watched Naruto from primary school.
As usual, the movie has a villain, a bishie that acts as the catalyze for NaruHina relationship. The story revolves pretty much about how Naruto realize Hinata feeling towards him, after confession but being rejected and Hinata being seized by enemy, finally only understand his true feeling and plays the "man" role to save Hinata.
In addition to the main theme, the movie also reveals the ultimate form of byakugan, which possess the power to control the moon. Well, byakugan has finally given attention providing its lower significance than sharingan in the sequel.
Other than that, other main characters are pretty plain in this movie, but you get to see the slightly mature looks of them. Shikamaru, Sai and Sakura have slightly higher appearance due to the reason they team up with Naruto to save the world, where Shikamaru plays the role as team leader, Sai as transportation provider and joker, Sakura to resolve Naruto feeling, AND most importantly, she reveals that Naruto like her only because he want to compete with Sasuke. (which implies that Naruto does not like Sakura all these years)
Overall, the movie is a great one with some minor flaw especially during fighting scene. The fighting may not be as thrilling to everyone but who care, this movie is about beautiful love story. Naruto and Hinata eventually become married couple, and their wedding party is revealed in the ending song. Not forget to mention that the opening and ending song is outstanding. Also, do not take a quick escape from cinema as you do not want to miss the scene of their family moment with their child many years later.
I highly recommend you to watch it if you are big fans of Naruto, and of course NaruHina fans.

I saw the PV. This time, the story tells about the relationship between Tamako and Mochizou which we barely saw from the Tamako Market TV version. The desperate way Tamako shout for "Mochizou" in the ending of PV makes me highly expecting it before aired. Until yesterday, I was kinda underestimate because KyoAni makes it really, really nice.
The ambiguity towards confession once again rekindles our already too-old-heart. It reminds us the simplicity and innocence during our youthful life. While Mochizou hesitates to confess, we laugh because we recall how coward we are when facing our first love. As Tamako receives the confession, she does
...
not know how she should do. Their anxiety successful bring us the "doki doki" feel.
Midori is a sad character in this film. Despite her feeling towards Tamako, she does not have the courage to confess to her. The same thing happens to Mochizou; he has been liking Tamako for 16 years. But the difference is Mochizou finally determined to confess to Tamako. Midori hates herself, hate herself for not having the same courage. Director has made many scenes for showing the lost of Midori inner-self. While Midori pretend to be choked by Mochi at Tamako house, she is already at the brink of collapes.
KyoAni last movie has many resemblances throughout the movie. This time, Tamako Love Story does a good job as well. The moon and the sun at the beginning resemble Mochizou and Tamako, where Midori thought Mochizou will only revolve around Tamako throughout his life. The paper phone resembles the kizuna between Tamako and Mochizou, where they both share the same idea to use it as confession tool. While Shiroi reveals the real feeling of Tamako, the interrupting of bell ring resembles the collapse of Midori feel. Kane says about magnet of same pole could not attract to each other, signify the relationship between Midori and Tamako could not have good ending. The dandelion flying seed resemblances the new start....
Overall, it is a really, really nice movie as mentioned. The development of character emotion is describe well. The theme of love and future is one of the best among the same genre anime. The details go very natural that audience will feel comfortable with it. The graphic is good and the song is well coordinated. Most importantly, Tamako is so cute!
If you want to re-feel Tamako Market, you will like this. If you like K-On!, Tamako Love Story shares the same director. If you like shojo anime, this is perfect to you. If you do not know anything, this is not the reason hindering you from watching it.

------ SPOILER ALERT ------
From Hanasaku Iroha, Tari Tari to Nagi no Asukara, I learnt PA Works. The inspirational, youthful and romance genre of the anime makes PA Works one of my favourite in the industry. Last season, Nagi no Asukara reached another high where I can cry almost every episodes.
Bearing the expectation of "re-feel" Nagi no Asukara again, I am highly expecting GlassLip before the start of its airing. After the first few episodes, however, my after impression is that it does not reach my assumption and in fact, somehow disappointing.
From the first episode, I am excited because the drawing style of PA Works once
...
again emerged before my eyes. The art is so good and the character is loveable especially Toko, where I somehow recall Manaka in Nagi no Asukara. At here, I assume that the story would tell about the relationship of all the characters, as usual, starting from the good friends eventually become worse due to something, then reach to dramatic climax and finally they solve it together. No sooner, the consequent episodes tell that GlassLip does not follow that way.
There are 6 main characters in this anime. Toko, Yanagi, Sachi, Yukinari and Hiro are very good friends except Kakeru that comes from other place. From the very beginning, we can know that who has crush on who, and who are the destined couple in the end of story. However, we do not know the reason or story behind every act or motive. The story tells little or nothing about the characters history. And then, characters are not complexly intervened together to make story progress. At first, they do watch fireworks and climb mountain together. Later on, they seldom interact with each other as a whole. Not to mention the couple who always interact together. Sometimes, they do have one or two which is not couple interacts together. However, most of the time the anime keep switches between the daily life of the characters to lead the story flow. From this point, it gives the feel as if the story do not progress anymore or, actually at a very slow pace. The ability to look through the future spices up the anime, however, it is very confusing and does not actually improve the entertainment of the anime. Overall, everything is slow, confusing, and the less of climax makes the anime kinda dull.
Today, GlassLip has came to an end. The ending is quite a good one if compare to the overall feeling it has given. After all, it tells a romance story involving six teenagers during their last summer of the high school year. The ending has all the couples develop well or at least, their romance has just began.
The story is actually all about understanding your love one, and take action instead of nothing.
Hiro likes Sachi. Therefore, he follows Sachi to read books. At first he get bored easily, but at the end, he actually learns alot from the books and can express impressive ideas until being praised by Yanagi.
Sachi does not like Hiro at first, but she tries to accept him. To do that, she actually confess to Toko in order to get rid of her odd liking. During mountain climbing at later part, she confess that she is trying very hard to reach him. Ashita wo tameni, could mean that the day is coming soon.
Yanagi tries to understand Yukinari as well. Everyday she run the same route as Yukinari run. She writes down everything she experiences during the run and send it to Yukinari. While Yukinari claims that he does not understand Yanagi as well, he goes to see Yanagi training in her dancing class. This shows that they have the similar aspiration to pursue the dream.
Hiro and Sachi, Yukinari and Yanagi, the two couples go well at the end.
What makes the big contrast to the rest of the anime is Kakeru and Toko, and their ability to look through the future. Kakeru, the pitiful boy develops the ability due to the loneliness he has undergo throughout his life. As for Toko, it could be her deep consciousness that wanting for romantic love that lead to the same ability. Just like they said, because I want to meet you, so i met you. The ability attracts the two who possesses the same ability.
In the middle, Kakeru eventually loses the ability because he finally has Toko as his good listener and companion. Toko falls in love with Kakeru too. At the episode 12, Toko experiences Kakeru loneliness and that is the important episodes that we can finally know a thing or two about Kakeru past. Kakeru is a pitiful character as said, he is naturally forgotten by others because the lack of unforgettable memories with others. At the last episode, the glass meteor signify the resolvement of both Kakeru and Toko. Kakeru finally has a precious memory together with Toko. Whether Kakeru travels to other place or follows Toko to the same school, the ending gives us an open answer.
In my opinion, GlassLip is a very meaningful anime. We cant simply undestand it by just having a look. The director indeed has something to tell in this anime, though using a very different way from usual, or we can call it art. Come to think about it, the less dramatic story and the less intervening of characters in the story are actually acceptable. It tells about the slice of life which is more real in our life. The OP conveys more information than we couldimagine. The intervening of characters in OP is something we hardly seen in story. The ability to look through future is nothing but a way used by director to eventually tells the theme of this anime: No matter what will happen in future, I believe the future me can overcome with it.
(Does anyone try to combine the picture-diary in GlassLip?)
