I watch every type of anime, and prefer youthful, school, romance genre.
If the OP or ED is good, the anime is mostly good as well.
If I cry, the anime is almost perfect.

As an ACG lover, I watch anime, read manga, occasionally play games (not included phone), but almost not reading light novel. (will find time to read)

When I was small, I get a manga of Doraemon from my primary school. I stupidly read it from the back until the first page. No sooner I found out the correct way of reading, I start the collection of Doraemon and later on Detective Conan. Apparently, Doraemon is my first manga.

As for my first anime, it could be Pokemon or Doraemon. I might have watched anime in my kindergarten life but i can only recall my primary school life. Back then, there are many anime aired during the weekend. At Saturday, I wake up early to watch anime such as Dragon Ball, Get Backers and Medabots etc. Next day, I catch the same time to watch Digimon, Hell Girl, and Ragnarok etc.

I still remember how happy am I when the holidays arrive. Holiday means that no need to go to school + special anime aired. I still recognize some of them such as Petite Princess Yucie, UFO Baby and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha. Watching TV anime is so exciting yet feel hanging as I have to wait for next episode.

During that time, Internet is yet so advanced to simply download anime and watch like nowadays. There are few people buy DVD but the source is limited as well. People like me who cant afford to buy are so jealous whenever see their collection of anime. Nevertheless, the time that the sources are so few makes anime watching so precious in many ways.

I believe there are many people out there start to watch anime at the same time with me. If you regain your memory when you come across those mentioned anime, then you are of same era with me. Some other examples include the famous Sailormoon, Slam Dunk, Tsubasa Chronicle, YuGiOh, School Rumble, Jubei Chan, Hamtaro, Mirmo zibang and so on.

Era changed during my secondary school. While the moe drawing style and seasonal airing are the obvious examples, novel based anime starts to become important in the industry. Melancholy Haruhi Suzumiya is the most successful anime during the time. Shana has become the goddess of tsundere in our heart. At this time, many of kids then are already grown up. Part of them are otakus nowadays.

While I continue to watch TV anime such as Kekkaishi, Fate Stay Night, Bleach, Trinity Blood and so on, I stop at later. During the blank history, I play game and know little information about anime but not watching them. Well I am so regret that I have let go so many time for watching anime. T.T

Due to the voidness in life, I come back to anime after i graduate from secondary school. Anohana is the first anime after the long return and that declared the start of my otaku life. That time is around March of 2012.

.... After all, I just want to recall back those old good time memory. This writing may be a piece of my anime watching history but not the whole. Anime has occupied much in my life and for sure it will continue in the future.
