This is what neo-standard love comedy meant huh? Give me more.
Our main boy, Naoya, is a chad of focus, sincerity, and sheer fucking honesty. Given the problem of two Girls, he's dumb enough to choose both, dumb enough to ask his girlfriend, dumb enough to infect his girlfriend with his dumbass, and the show is dumb enough that it fucking worked.
The one girl we have is Saki, a light of common sense, giving a proper response when asked worthy of a violent tsundere, that being a proper punch. Unfortunately, or rather fortunately as this is absolute gold at this point, she gets infected by his

dumbass and thus the light of common sense has gone; mixing that with her tsundere status develops the "lewd misunderstanding" trope rather immediately.
The other girl, Minase, is quite a modest girl. Giving up her school life for a guy that doesn't even know her. Maybe she and Naoya have the same thinking. I mean they probably do as they're the ones that agreed to the two-timing immediately. Describing her is much like describing Naoya; Dumb and hardworking. She's also cute to the point where Saki is asking about her sexuality, well... They are in a three way relationship...
As a fan of generic harems, this is an absolute golden series.
The show follows the formula down so if you like any of the characters below, it's pretty sure fire that you'll like this one.
the main girl-Saki, Kuro, Itsuki/Yotsuba, Uruka, Chitose, Chizuru, Kato
the reserved-Minase, Shiro, Miku, Fumino/Rizu, Onodera, Sumi, Utaha
the aggressive- __, Momo, Nino, Asumi, Marika, Ruka, Michiru
the wild card- ___, Tetsuhiko, Ichika, Mafuyu, Tsugumi, Mami, Eriri
From the op and ed, It's looking like rika will be aggressive while Shino will be the start of drama.
Comedy wise, shout. shout. shout. if you like the retort/ straight man type comedy and don't mind loudness, or rather find shouting comedic, you'll love this one.
all in all, 9/10 great show. give me another season.

just 9. take my nine and give me another season of this crap.
Warning if you think this is just a regular love comedy where everyone is nice. Though if you do, probably best for you to skip this since you'd be annoyed in episode 3 and want to drop it. If not and you just want some dumb fun then here's the show.

They're all petty, they're all scheming, they're all idiots. I love it.
You want to see discount versions of Iroha, Yukinon, and Makabe(Haru is no Hachiman that's for sure) scheme against each other that would make even graph-kun from "Gamers!" proud? Then wait no longer than 3 episodes to set up one of the most "you could've won you dumbass!" moments in anime.
He may not know how to dance properly, but he does know how to be rejected into a oblivion. With the feeling that this might be the last episode from episode 3, you'll think, "Oh so this is why she'll win, and the rest of the show will be their relationship" but then one of anime's biggest unanimous face palms happens and the show must go on for 9 more episodes.
Meet our characters,
first, the girls. The main 3 are just basically Mami and Ruka (the two best characters of their show) levels of stereotypes of the main girl, silent cold girl, and the imouto bait girl.
Kuro- Discount Iroha with a spoonful of Mami and Ruka to spice up the show, doing her best to live up to the name "Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won't Lose" even if manipulation is needed, and it's always needed since they're all childhood friends, basically making fun of nisekoi.
Shiro- Discount Yukinon with a dash of Mami to liven things up, doing her best to get childhood-friend-collector-san to act in her play that she wrote when she was a kid, doing her best as the childhood friend that isn't the main childhood friend, and so manipulation is needed.
Momo- lil miss legal jail bait that wants Haru to go back to acting, using Mami's technique of cute manipulation with Ruka's cute personality to do the trick. When you're this cute, everything you say is already manipulative. As well as doing her best to bring us to the other side of the bars.
Rena(not from gotoubun)- Yeah you know a dog? Yeah she's like a cat girl with a feel of a dog. So I'm pretty sure she's going to be favorite of a lot of people, since people got annoyed that they were all manipulating him.
The imoutos- They're imoutos... What's not to like? The kuudere Akane, the dandere Aoi, and the oneechan/tomboy feel Midori. They're like the power rangers, with their names being colors.
And then the guys.
Haru- The gullible protagonist that wants revenge on a girl because he wasn't her boyfriend, the childhood friend collector that would make Ichijou give his approval, the "let's confess on stage, what could go wrong?" dunce. He's a lovable idiot though. He's the "nice guy" anime protagonist, there's no complaints here.
Tetsuhiko- The main protagonist of his own show, even having a harem (though it's just regular cheating, 3 girls at that). Every girl here wants something and he isn't different, scheming in the background. And like most of everyone here, he's also a childhood friend, so yaoi fans keep calm. I know the title can mean a childhood friend that's a guy as well but calm down.
Abe- He's basically the personification of exposition, when he's on screen with Tetsuhiko they explain to those that were unable to keep leaping logic. I like my exposition, I really like my leaps in logic, so he's a fun character to watch (watch the subtitle) since I do try to keep leaping.
All in all, it's a pretty fun ride to see what scheme comes next. solid 9/10 on the enjoyment front. Give me more.
